"made in thai' thu. 20 januar 2022 wolverhampton a beautiful place with fascinating ambiente and beautiful Thai trimm. in the darlington street it might be easy to miss. but it's a jewel worth visiting. the beautiful Thai food I had was the first to guess and oh so delicious. lunch is very cheap. I was served very efficiently. the thai singha premier bier was excellent and reminded me of our fabulous visits to the singha park ballon festival in chiang rai, thailand. the loos were clean and tidy. overall an experience you should not miss, I will be back."

"Me and my mate went there on a Tuesday. We traveled almost 70 miles to reach as people were posting reels about the restaurant. I would comment the choice as a DISASTER. We ordered Fish Pollichathu , which they served in a banana leaf , as a mallu I was giving too much expectation before opening the item, the entire fish was just a fillet covered with 1 kg of Onion with loads of semi cooked Indian masala. Genuinely it is NOT a recommending item from my side. The Beef Ularthyathu was the second item I ordered, unlike the above, this time we were lucky as we got many coconut pieces and the rest of the onion from above along with 2 beef piece each. Tholpichu kalanju njngale ' The poratta was too nice and tasty. Overall it was NOT a worth to money buying option when comparing with quality and quantity of Food being served. NOTE : (To so called Food Vloggers) don 't give over hype to people when your Machan and Mamen is working over there."

"As a once a year visitors our custom won't be missed but I believe in a honest review whether good, bad or indifferent.. Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review in the hope the publican takes note. This is our annual visit on the way to paying our Christmas wishes to those family members who are no longer with us and reside in local cemeteries. We have been coming to the Flying Childers for the last ten years as a tradiition on our visits to Derbyshire. We arrived only 45 minutes after opening time to order drinks and food. We chose our fayre and went to order. From our two person choices, no mulled wine (it's Christmas!! no BBQ burger, no sour dough bread and no skinny chips..We made alternative choices as one would. When are coffee arrived it wasn't hot only just warm but we didn't complain. Our meals arrived and when my partner cut her chick pea pastie in half it was still frozen in the middle. I took this meal back to the bar area for a replacement. We couldn't believe that the same cut in half pastie arrived back, apparently warmed up in a microwave and replaced on the same plate as the rest of the half eaten meal. And the salad looked like it had been scraped off the plate and same salad replaced. I would have expected a clean plate a completely fresh pastie and a replacement accompanied meal! Alas we won't be returning again"

"Stopped in on the way back from Livingston and had a light lunch. This was our 2nd visit and that tells it's own story. Staff are great. The food is tasty, fresh and a wee bit on the unusual side. I had a plate of home made soup and a sandwich. My wife also had soup and some pate. And very nice it all was. A good measure of an establishments quality, in my opinion, is the cleanliness of the toilet facilities. This gets a 5 star rating on that score! We couldn't resist the scones either but as we were choc full after our lunch these were taken home. With the staff kindly providing butter and jam. Pop in if you're passing. You won't be disappointed!"

"Absolutely delicious food for lunch, myself and some work colleagues ordered food for take away and it did not disappoint. we ordered the Bang Bang Chicken which was fiery but not too spicy and bursting with flavour, the Braised Beef which absolutely melted in our mouths (the best I've tasted in a long while and finally the Lemongrass Chicken which tasted so so fresh and the sauce so fragrant. The service i received inside the restaurant was second to non and had a great conversation with the lovely owner (Dawn who was happy to suggest and explain dishes of the menu. I would definitely recommend Vietnam and will be definitely ordering very soon in the near future. So Vietnam Swansea its a MASSIVE thumbs up from me :"

"When my husband and I first moved to Dundee, we were dying for some Thai food. We could find some, but whether it was good or not was debatable. Hubby found this place on a whim and went in. He loved it. When I came back to Dundee, I had my doubts when he kept raving about how wonderful this place was. It was fabulous. It went beyond my wildest expectations. Service was good, the place is clean and very welcoming. The owner was an absolute sweetheart and even though it was the middle of winter, I asked her for a Thai iced tea...forgetting that I am no longer in the USA and the Brits don't like iced tea. She was surprised yet pleased I knew what it was and that I wanted it! Wherever I go for any Thai restaurant, I get pad thai or their yellow curry potato soup...I decided to stick to pad thai with chicken and shrimp. That had to be the most flavorful meal I had ever had in terms of Thai food. I truly enjoyed my entire experience there. So much so, I went back a second time and a third time it was consistent. Thumbs up from me. Hubby can't stop raving about the place to our friends in Dundee...I miss our time in Scotland and hope we can return again especially for the yummy food here."

"We had a fantastic evening with our friends on 9/12/2023. We were given a table in the main function room. We had the whole function room to ourselves! Service was excellent. The ladies were attentive and served our drinks and food. Food portions were generous but more importantly tasted really delicious! Butter chicken, Lamb karahi and paneer karahi were really tasty and would recommend. Sunny the owner gave us the dance floor and we were able to play some Bollywood music to dance to. What a night!!! Sunny, thank you for the lovely birthday drinks and sparkly candle (on the house). We would recommend for anyone to visit for good food and great service with the added touches and charm of Sunny!!! We will be coming back soon."

"We had a dinner and a big sharing platter. The onion bhaji were quite dry, but it 's usually the case in most places, but the rest of the food was really good, the chefs did a really good job and deserve a compliment. We went there in November and got a table by the door, which was one main downside. It was absolutely freezing, and everytime someone walked in, we were greeted by a freezing cold wind. They even offered to go containers for leftover food, which was very nice. Affordable prices too. It does look like a dentists office once you are coming in, I think it is missing some restaurant vibes."

"eating was of excellent quality and great value, although we had to wait a little. the restaurant is compact at the back of the bulls head pubs so that they have to stand up and buy drinks at the bar itself. the tables on which we sat were in another height to each other, so that this was not so great. service was friendly and without a doubt we will visit again."

"It is a 5-minute walk from Oxford Road. The store has a hot pot area and a barbecue area. The barbecue area is on the second floor. The environment is ordinary and not particularly high-end. The waiters are enthusiastic and there are many locations. You can choose 26 all-you-can-eat or a la carte for meals. It is recommended. The all-you-can-eat option is not too expensive and there are many varieties to choose from. The important thing is that everything is delicious, whether it is sliced meat, skewers or seafood, and the serving speed is not too slow, but there will be a service charge in the end. It is recommended that you make a reservation before coming, but you will need to fill in your card number before making a reservation to prevent you from not showing up. If you cancel too late or do not show up, you will still be charged."

"So you know what you are getting at Pret, the food wasn’t an issue. We are in the queue on a busy Saturday in July and the staff member that was serving our queue just disappeared as it was the end of their shift. In fact two staff did this leaving the customers having to go to another assistant which is fine, but when there’s a long queue of customers at each of their points of service isn’t great. I had a very abusive man shout at me for queue jumping, bald, old and ugly you know the type...little did he know I’d been stood there patiently for 10 mins waiting to be served. This isn’t good enough Pret. Someone should have taken over from the staff whose shift had finished rather than leaving customers being left standing like idiots and being abused by other customers. We’ll go elsewhere next time."

"Was so excited to visit here having heard so much about how great it is. But unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype I’ve seen..we pre booked for 5pm arrived at 4:50 and the place was closed ..so wandered around for 10 mins then went back..it wasn’t like we expected at all not very welcoming and the place was freezing cold ..people sat with coats on! It reminded me of a canteen rather than a restaurant Service was good but food was no better than I can get from my local takeaway. No warmers were used under the food like in other Chinese I’ve been to in the past so we didn’t finish our mains as they went cold before we could eat them. The gluten free options were good (I had no reaction) we had the set meal..could have done without the salt and pepper chips..they don’t really say Chinese restaurant to me. All in all..not somewhere we will be going again. Especially when there are so many other gf places nearby."

"B&K is the ONLY restaurant we are as pleased with today as when we first discovered Bobby and Marco’s joint nearly 10 years ago (note: the original business was founded by their grandfather in 1978). The salt beef reigns supreme of course but the chicken schnitzels are also deliciously moist and light. The mash potato is our favourite of the potato side dishes although the schnitzels are brilliant too, as are the chips particularly if ordered well cooked. We can. Ever really have enough of the pasta salad either. Enough said, try it and you’ll be a convert."

"My partner ordered macaroni and onion rings, was very nice, waitress was nice and polite. I ordered the Ribeye done medium with surf and turf, received it well done and tough as an old boot, had it sent back and received the same again as a replacement, cooked ever so slightly less well done but still incredibly tough and unpleasant. Owner/manager proceeded to tell me it was my opinion and I was wrong and that the steak was perfectly fine and he had no complaints before, they refused to taste the steak to see how terribly tough it was. The owner was incredibly arrogant towards me regarding the complaint and had the audacity to charge me full price for the steak. I had two bites over all and paid £36 for the privilege. Couldn 't in good faith recommend the place. Owner needs to fix his delusional and arrogant behaviour. Update* After doing some research on the advertised Black gold beef they claim its all reared and grass fed in Aberdeenshire but I have found its a product of Woodford which are a company based down south, so it 's blatant false advertising. Frozen, tough and chewy steak from England for £36 and they are situated in a farming town 6 miles from the best beef in Scotland, insulting really!"

"Overall, we had a good time. The scones were incredible. I was unpleasantly surprised the teas were bagged. Being a TEA room you'd expect a better tea quality than what you get cheaply from a grocery store. I drink a way better leafy tea at home on a daily basis. "I would not even give this place a single star! Out of all the restaurants I have visited, this one had the worst service. I'm not exaggerating - we didn't even receive any service. I went with a group of friends, and one of them arrived 10-15 minutes before us and was already seated. She tried to get some service, but nobody paid any attention to us when we all arrived. The lady working there was too busy chatting with other customers, and even though the restaurant wasn't very busy, they didn't bother to inform us that they would be with us shortly. We eventually left, and still no one noticed or cared about losing our business. We definitely won't be returning."

"Wow, was it worth it! The place was packed with a real buzz about it. The food was gorgeous, the owner Ira is a character and we had a real laugh with her. She has one of those signs that used to be in old swimming baths- no diving, no petting etc and on seeing a young couple holding hands she showed them the sign and had the whole restaurant laughing as she bantered with them about it. They have quirky circular menus which we loved, the food was absolutely gorgeous, we had chicken schnitzel, salt beef, latkes, fish and chicken soup, then New York cheesecake with rum and raisin ice cream, which I hadn't intended having any, but was so yummy I ended up fighting for half of. All the food is freshly cooked and really delicious."
