"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"

"This is the 4th Pho out of its chain we've been to... Firstly, the location itself was very nice, wasn't hard to find nor was it too far the main stations nearby which are: St. Paul's, Mansion House, Bank, which are all Underground stations and finally Bank DLR. Seeing Pho is located within One New Change shopping centre, there are many other stores and restaurants closeby. The place itself is one of the better looking structures out of the many we've visited, it has more than enough seating for larger parties alongside a couple. The only drawback was with its quality of food, it's far the worst we've tasted out of its chain, not sure why this is seeing it technically should be on par with the rest, perhaps we visited on the wrong day and normally the food is what we'd expect but it's still slightly surprising. All in all, it wasn't bad but could of been a better in certain ways."

"Wow. I stumbled upon this place walking back to my hotel from a facial. It was seriously one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Once I realized the owners were Turkish and I saw there were Turkish specialties on the menu, I knew that’s what I needed to eat. The closest thing it was similar to was shakshuka, but honestly even better. I LOVED it. I got mine with sausage and the bread was also insanely good. Would come back here in a heartbeat."

"I had booked a table for 16 following my grandmother’s funeral. I called up on the way to the venue to ask if they could increase to 18 and they accommodated us with no issue. They had given us a wonderful raised corner area and the service was exceptional. There was a table with glasses and water already in place. We were looked after by the receptionist on arrival, the bar staff sorted us with our settling in drinks at the bar and the one waitress who looked after us was incredible. The food was hot, delicious and prompt. Everything we ordered was delivered and to the person who’d ordered it. We stayed for over 3 hours celebrating our relative and enjoying each other’s company, reminiscing and looking at photos, in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Thank you Miller Carter Tanworth Lane, Shirley, Solihull you were exceptional."

"as one of the best places to eat in the covent garden, the great queen street is known for seasonal and hearty British cuisine, where reservations must be due to its constant popularity. with a non-pretentious menu that is heavily based on fresh products, it changes daily, so that they can expect something new every day. coming in a full dining room with a reservation of 6:30 o'clock, it is popularity among the londoners obvious. under a small table in the middle, we ordered the two dishes recommended by our friendly waitress. the roasted hake served with the new season borlotti bran with a hot snail dressing was srumptious and I have sweetened the sauce with the free brot. my sister-baked lemon sole served with a cream brewed bisque was just as beautiful and we both cleaned our dishes with lightness! we were more than impressed by the eating and service of great queen street. the dishes allowed to shine the ingredients and it is a No-Frills Sorta menu, where edible flowers, unnecessary foam and bites are nowhere to find. the well-known staff can recommend the perfect drink pairing and despite the work, they were friendly, attentive and very efficient. the perfect way to finish our trip in london!"

"Was a bit optimistic about ordering from here but thought we'd give it a bash and thank goodness we did, food was absolutely amazing and plenty of it. We ordered a Salt Spicy Munchie Box and a chicken chow mein special Saturday night offer £20.50 it fed 3 adults amply and there was enough left for 2 adults to warm up the following day. Food was of excellent quality, well cooked and extremely tasty, also included complimentary prawn crackers. Added bonus they deliver too for a small fee. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to try ourselves again."

"I went to this restaurant with my family for a coffee and lunch. We were seated quickly as it wasn't too crowded. We ordered food and coffee, and the menu looked promising. Our coffee arrived after 10 minutes, but we ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours and still didn't receive our food. We decided to cancel our order, pay for the coffee, and leave. It seemed like phone orders were prioritized over in-person customers, as a delivery driver came and went during our wait. As we were leaving, we heard the staff informing new customers to expect an hour wait. If we had known this beforehand, we would have gone somewhere else. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with more empty tables than occupied ones. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I will not be returning."

"What a great find!! As a new vegan, I've been searching for great places to eat out locally with minimum fuss, but where the dishes had had a bit of thought put into them. I just happened to be in Montrose and found Diamond Lil's using the HC app. I took my girls (2 8yrs) and we were made to feel really welcome by Nic, our host. The food was fabulous. Loads of vegan (and veggie) options to choose from on the menu, and with vegan specials and desserts! My girls were thrilled to find out there was vegan chocolate ice cream! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended."

"a really great restaurant with traditional polish. when they are political and home, this is a good place to visit. if they don't, but want to try something else and eat in a great atmosphere they should also come to daquiste. the restaurant is located in south kensington, just minutes from the tube. it is very cozy, with dimming light and very friendly staff. I invited my friend, because she hadn't polished before. we didn't want to eat all day and get very hungry. for starters we ordered the traditional borsch suppe (clear beet soup with dumplings) and some bigos, with both arranged delicious. for the net we got the duck with cranberry and kartoffels, venison with kartoffel dumplings and beet salad and veal in white wine sauce. they could definitely taste that all the products used were fresh, and we were happy (and filled) at the end of the meal. daquiste has a very interesting way to serve all the foods, with the cook comes with all the pots, and together with the waiter put it on the tellers before them. it adds something to the meal, and it is nice to talk to the cook. from a gluten-free point of them, once I asked what gluten-free I was surprised with the great selection area that was a very positive surprise. I definitely recommend to come to daquiste, especially if you want a place that combines good food and a relaxed atmosphere."

"We attended a birthday celebration at Fortune Palace. Never having been before, we were unsure as to what to expect. We chose a set menu which had a wide variety to offer all palates. The sizzling beef was out of this world! We also had a child.ahed 4 with us and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her. If you haven't been...it's a must on your bucket list!"

"My mum and I visited yesterday we both had the cream of chicken soup and it was undoubtedly the best soup we had ever tasted. I then had the empire state burger which was unreal in size and taste with their homemade bbq sauce which was also superb. Staff were very friendly too. Would highly recommend"

"Delicious take-away. My husband and oldest little walked over from the Premier Inn to grab us dinner from Shanghai. He commented that the staff was incredibly nice. Wow we had SO MUCH FOOD! The portions are large! We enjoyed everything. Orange chicken. Honey chicken. Rice. I had some sort of lo mein or noodle dish. Everything was fantastic. I wish we had a fridge in our room because I felt so guilty throwing the excess away."

"If you like myself like to sit outside a coffee shop and have a nice cuppa and a ciggy this is not the place for you. See photo. I was sat in this chair after buying a coffee and lit a cigarette, within seconds a member of staff shot out the door shouting you cant smoke there you have to be outside the barrier. So we did move and stood the other side of the barrier and within 4 inches of the chair i was sat in. There was nobody else sat outside at the time and this area is not covered its just an open space in the main street. I finished smoking then sat back down and finished my average coffee. 5 doors away is cafe uno where you can smoke outside and is far better coffee."

"Went for the 4 course set meal on the early bird menu. Good sized car park at the back of the restaurant. Always a bonus not having to search for a space or pay for it. Hot and sour soup was first. I wasn't over keen on it but my brother enjoyed his. We both ordered salt and pepper ribs. Decent sized portion and plenty on the ribs. Duck with pancakes was fine. For mains I ordered Chilli and Garlic chicken. My brother got the Beef Satay. Good sized portions and no shortage of chilli and garlic on my dish. I must apologies as I have forgot the name of the waitress who served us. She was excellent. Really on top of her job even when it got busy. Friendly and regularly checked everything was ok without being intrusive. For the price I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will try again someday."

"Very good Greek food in a cozy small restaurant (about 12 tables , located in a strip mall on Applegate Rd. After Taverna Ouzo closed its doors (coincidentally, it was located on the same Applegate Rd. quite a few years ago, there weren 't any authentic Greek restaurants in the area, so we are happy with our new finding. Faros (apparently, owned, managed, and served by people of Greek descent serves fully authentic and deliciously prepared Greek cuisine. The menu is extensive, there is a variety of choices for every taste and like. The food is fresh, the grilled dishes are thoroughly prepared to perfection. The hot appetizers platter Zesta pikilia tis pareas (assortment of tiropitakia, keftedakia, dolmadakia, spanakopitakia, and gigantes is ideal for two people and is offered for a budget friendly price of $20.5. The main courses, both traditional Greek specialties, souvlaki, and gyro platters are on the bigger side, definitely guaranteeing a need for box it up, please . The overall pricing is in today 's day and age certainly decent. Undoubtedly, highly recommended."

"The food is awesome, and the service is great too. It's an all you can eat buffet where you order from the menu: starters, duck, then mains. No backtracking. I've been plenty of times where I haven't made it past the starters and where I've had a bit of everything. The servers can be pretty relaxed about reordering from the starters after you go past as long as you don't overdo it. They also have a fish tank, which is pretty cool. It's a good place to go with friends or hang out with family or as a party to celebrate a special day or achievement."

Attentive, talkative and all round nice place to dine for authentic Indian food. Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free and everything was spot on. No after effects. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"The service was impeccable. I enjoy trying new restaurants, but I have to say their service is unmatched—always attentive without being intrusive. As for the food, it was phenomenal! We enjoyed delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine that made our first hotpot experience truly unforgettable. I can't wait to return for the Chinese BBQ in the near future!"

"During a trip to Earth High Time Dress with my sister, we booked a table for lunch at this restaurant. My daughter and I ordered the soup of the day with a sandwich, which turned out to be a delicious homemade cream of chicken soup. My daughter, who is usually picky, absolutely loved it. I even received the recipe from the cook to make it at home, which I have already tried. Unfortunately, the cakes were so good that they were sold out before we had a chance to try them. Overall, I highly recommend this bistro for its fresh and delicious food, as well as its friendly owners. Thank you for the great experience."

"Wow! My wife and I do enjoy a good burger and will travel if necessary. We saw the Echo article about this place and thought we had to give it a try. Although they could probably benefit from dedicated premises to fully spread their wings there wasn't a thing to fault. We had a Sweet Home Avocado with sweet potato fries and an El Chapo with regular fries. Brioche buns, a lovely patty of good quality meat and no shortage of flavoursome toppings. Fries were perfectly cooked also. Hot sauces available if more spice required, and from my small taste of the nuclear fallout one, they will certainly turn it up to 11. It was lovely to meet your Sarah your warmth and friendliness shine through and it's clear you are putting your heart and soul into this. All the best for the future and hopefully we'll see you again when in this direction. Mark Penny :"
