"We tried four different restaurants to reach Suffolk foodhall, Oyster, Harvester, all too busy on a Saturday morning 10:00 and then my daughter suggested, try Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had tried Frankie and Benny's first, and they were really quiet. He went in. We ordered the food. Quickly got out. The staff is beautiful, beautiful atmosphere. I didn't know it was still open and food came out. Breakfast was delicious for £10.50 full English breakfast eggs. Sausage Toast black pudding beans mushrooms all beautiful Bacon was beautiful. There were 11 of us. The young lady who served us was really beautiful. I couldn't do enough for us. We sit and look around. Really good. Good atmosphere if you want something nice to eat and good atmosphere. good, clean experience. Try honestly and Benny is still open. Still good food well enjoyed it"

"I visited this restaurant for lunch today during the middle of a virus outbreak. They were constantly cleaning while I was there. It was not very crowded during lunchtime. The service was excellent and the food was delicious."

"I’m absolutely disgusted to have visited this restaurant and to be asked upon arrival if I have any allergies, to which I responded yes and explained I cannot eat onion or garlic. I then went on to order the carbonara and asked the waitress to confirm with the chef that there is no onion or garlic in the sauce, to which she said she cannot check. The host who seated us explained she would let the chef know of my allergies so I’m unsure what the difference is. Surely the person who is cooking the food within the kitchen is able to advise what ingredients is in the dish. I was informed this is company policy and they can’t check the packaging, however when I visited the Cheshire oaks restaurant the waiter was incredibly helpful and checked the packaging of the chicken for me to assist. I feel discriminated against for having allergies, that are totally out my control. I was told by the waitress that she is protecting the company’s reputation as you would be liable if she checks… what would make you more liable is if I order something after telling you of my allergies and then I have a reaction. You seriously need to rethink your policy. Every other restaurant I ever visit will adapt their dishes to suit my allergies, as should all food establishments. I was told you will only confirm the top 14 allergens… as though people with all other food allergies are irrelevant! I have never been made to feel so discriminated against in my life. Disgusting!"

"It was my Granddaughter's birthday on the 11th and 6 of us were going for dinner, 3 Adults and 3 children. Our server was Ellen and she just couldn't do enough for us and very helpful with the girls choice of menu, nothing was a bother for her with 3 very excited girls. They even made my Granddaughters birthday for her when they brought her cake out and played Happy Birthday for her. "I made a reservation for a table for 8 people at 6:15 through OpenTable, but when I arrived, they had not received my booking, which was not my error but an OpenTable mistake. We had to wait until 6:45 for the next available table, which was only designed for 6 people. After I asked about our order, we were finally served our food at 7:30. By then, my hungry and hyper 3-year-old son was running around the restaurant. The 7 burgers, buns, and onion rings we ordered were cold and tasteless, with soggy bases, but the fries were very hot. We also had to wait again for the children's desserts, which was ice cream. We had to ask for our bill and ended up leaving disappointed with a group of bored children who had been sitting at a small table for too long and given poor quality food. Spending £105 for the worst evening out in a long time is not something I would recommend or repeat."

"Came here for lunch before children returned back to school. We were seated straight away and greeted by our server Rowan our drinks and food order were wanted promptly. Have to give a special shout out to Server Lily who remembered our daughter from our last visit always so happy and friendly. "I recently dined at Francie Bennys in Coventry and it was absolutely terrible. Let me tell you a joke – I would have been better off going to Burger King instead. I ordered a cajun chicken sandwich which came with fries and coleslaw. When the food arrived, the coleslaw was soggy and I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. The portion of fries was so small, I could count them – there were exactly 23. The chicken sandwich was also disappointing as it was served stone cold. It seemed like they had just reheated a pre-cooked chicken breast in the microwave for 20 seconds before serving it. The sandwich cost £9.95 and a coke was £2.10, making a total of £12.05 for a meal that even a dog wouldn't want to eat. I didn't want to cause a scene by complaining, but I definitely won't be returning."

"We walked in as a family of 7 on a Sunday evening after having seen a film at the nearby cinema. We were shown to a table right away, a round one which made chatting easy. Our waiter James was a very pleasant young man and was extremely patient with us all whilst we chose from the varied menu, especially with the youngsters in our party. "Prebooked a table for people. We were crammed on a person table if that despite the restaurant being practically empty with much bigger tables. It was clear we were struggling and not once were we offered the chance to move. We had to...call someone over to take our drinks order. She didn’t come to take the order for at least minutes after saying she was coming then one drink never turned up so after about minutes of waiting we had to ask for it again. The food arrived at the same time which was good but unfortunately nobody had cleared our salad bowls so we couldn’t fit the mains on properly and some plates were practically bare. There was only a quarter of rotisserie chicken left when we ordered so we had to swap to a chicken breast which was ok but when a lot of the food is fatty and the ribs are undercooked without the bbq sauce on at all like stated on the menu that isn’t acceptable. It was very clear the staff were keeping the guests in one area of the restaurant for their convenience but it backfired when someone from the door marked ‘Private’ shouted something so loudly every guest turned and looked in shock. There was no explanation or apology. The staff just came out one by one smiling and laughing after they’d all rushed through to the back to see what was going on. Very unprofessional! It’s my first time visiting Wales and I’d had this Harvester recommended to me but I’ll never go back to it no matter how many times I visit in the future!"

"visited here for dinner (in the afternoon) on our shopping tour with our 3 children. menu for the lunchtime that was good and still a decent selection. the children's dishes are good and all 3 young have enjoyed their meal. it's a shame that you can't get 2x sides, although some of the meals are quite small. I chose the halloumi wrap I really regretted that I love halloumi, but there was so much salat and avocado that I could not even taste the halloumi in it, very disappointing. my man had the bbq bark pack he said was really nice. I thought the options were pretty cumbersome if they don't want chocolate or not. Too bad they don't have a strawberry or eton chaos sunflower. I tried the cream egg cookie dough at the end and it was very rich, in any case must come with ice. our waitress was nice, very fast. it's a good box stop for lunch, but I'd definitely get something else when we go back."

"Went in for an early dinner at 11.30am, but were told they don't take orders for dinner until 12pm. We just sat at a table, had drinks and chatted for a bit so it wasn't a problem. I had macaroni cheese with bacon and my nephews ordered off the kids menu. Good selection on the kids menu, usually it's about four things, but there's had a much larger choice which was good. My Mum had the caeser salad. Food was very tasty and came in good time. The lady who served us was chatty, friendly and very smiley. Good experience all round."
