"the Christmas dinner has enjoyed us very much. for the first time eat in a restaurant for christmas and that supplied. also cocktails were pleasant. the food was enjoyed by all, we ordered various things - everyone remained happy and full. the music selection was perfect that we sing together, also perfect loudness. we asked about the type of caviar, they had no warning, but tried to say they did. would have been better to just say we don't know. more appropriate space between the guests so that we felt comfortable and had space to enjoy private sphere while in a common environment. would definitely be rebooking. might have listed the circumcisions for the most important courses on the Christmas menu before they were different depending on the meat they ordered, but was a beautiful surprise and delicious both."

"After looking forward to this meal all day as an alternative to a hospital meal (been in St Mary’s next door for weeks), I was disappointed with what was delivered. The Fantasia Special looked nothing like the website images and actually whilst this element...was tasty with the mushroom sauce topping, it is described online as grilled chicken breast topped with creamy mushrooms. However the chicken was not a nice fat looking chicken breast and was more like chicken that had been butterflied as was thin and flat with just a long shape. The rice which was served in separate container was like a rice I’d get from a Chinese takeaway and some overcooked and clumped together. The side dish Of veg that I paid extra for was again in a separate container and was like the cheapest canned vegetable mix you’d buy in a supermarket and was not great at all, I’d certainly be kicking off hugely if I was dining in and that turned up on my plate. I was expecting some fresh brocolli and greens perhaps but this was just a joke. Real shame of a meal after a day of looking forward to eating this based on lovely looking web images which appear to be totally false."

"Visiting Edinburgh over the festive season for my partners birthday. Googled for restaurant recommendations and this one came top. Outstanding service from start to finish and amazing food. Great menu choice also. I had the pasta demme chef and was a really good choice. Also let them know on booking we were celebrating a birthday and the team brought us out a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. An excellent touch! Top marks would recommend to anyone."

"We visited spaghetti junction on a busy Saturday at end of September. As per some comments below it does not look much from the outside but once inside you feel like you are transported to Italy. Menu is typical Italian and with 10 in our party a wide range of started came on all to an excellent standard. We then had mains again a wife variety of pasta, pizza and meat and all excellent. Waiting staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. As we were finishing startera the entertainment started with Bruno on the microphone. He started slowly but by the time we had finished all 10 of us plus the rest of the restaurant and waiting staff were up dancing to his array of songs. Highly recommended. Food excellent."

"It 's quite difficult to weed out the 'reviews ' from the reviews these days. This is a review. I visited very early evening on a rainy Halloween without a booking. From the outside it looks pretty lively it certainly stands out from the many other Italians in Scarborough. The gentleman who greeted me didn 't flinch, tut or roll his eyes when I said I admitted I was without booking and offered me a table by the fire in the bar. He then pitched up quickly with a menu and took my drink order: Birra Moretti on tap hurrah who wouldn 't? I had come specifically for pizza and even the specials board couldn 't dissuade me. I ordered the Diavola, which came with a warning due to its chilli and N 'duja content. I was feeling adventurous. A steaming pizza duly arrived and I ate every bit. It was absolutely delicious: very thin base perfectly topped with aforesaid toppings along with pepperoni. It was hot, but not too hot (no need for a warning) and the meaty bits were good and salty. 'Reviews ' claim this is the best restaurant in Scarborough. It may be, but as I haven 't visited every restaurant in Scarborough I can 't verify that. But what I can say with honesty is that this is a lovely, cozy Italian serving perfect pizza."

"I had a wonderful time sitting in the sun. I ordered the king prawn spaghetti, but my wife added her burrata from her salad to my dish, which was a delightful touch. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Alexandria, our waitress. When the manager unexpectedly walked out, Alexandria continued to handle everything with remarkable professionalism on her own. She truly deserves a raise or at least a bonus—listen up, management!"

"We went to celebrate a birthday and couldn’t believe how grateful the owner was for us choosing here to eat .. he came to our table thanking us many times for choosing his restaurant , he went through the menu in detail ans made recommendations.... "Fantastic meal. Friendly helpful staff (both waiting on table and in the kitchen). I have a mussel allergy and I really appreciated the care they took to make sure I could still have a fish dish but be safe. Every dish we had was delicious. The breads are huge as are the tiger prawns. When we visit Clevedon again we will definitely be back here."

"Myself and my family have been to the pizza cafè on various occasions over the past 5 to 10 years. I remember going with my parents from a young age on a Saturday or Sunday as a treat and in my adulthood visiting a few times. Each time I’ve gone sadly the character and standards of the place have continued to decline. The food is average although the prices are still rising, and the service can be quite poor. The pizzas used to be a lot tastier (and bigger), it all seemed fresher, served with a smile and fairly quickly… however on my last visit after being seated me and my partner waited a good 15minutes to be asked which drinks we’d like to order in which case we had already decided what we wanted to eat and quickly ordered not knowing how much longer we’d have to wait for someone to come and take our order again. Then nearly 45mins to an hour later our food arrived! We almost walked out at one point. It wasn’t particularly busy this night either. We had slow service, the food was not worth the price, and we also seemed to be waiting a lot because of a seemingly new staff member not knowing what to do and keeping asking for advice or simply handing it over to someone else which unfortunately I think is what happened to us. I appreciate people have to learn but there should have been a better system in place for someone to help out rather than cause a disruption on a Friday night which could have been a lot busier and caused more delay. I would probably go here again but my expectations are tainted unfortunately."

"What a fabulous early evening meal we has. Hubby and i are on a lovely long weekend in Rogeston. Everything was easy right through from making the reservation to paying the bill. "Friday Lunch between meetings..looked good from the window of grilled vegetables and platters. Once in it all fell down from there. "the first time here and it's brilliant. phoned at 3 and got a table for 4 o'clock no problem. the staff is friendly and helpful, but not in their face, the accusation is great. everyone gets fresh water/glass on the table when they sit. eating was fantastic, I had fajitas coming with a free dessert option on Monday. I was offered full so waitress to box, which I ever dessert I wanted to take away, how great is that? The toilets are clean and well decorated, what much says about a place I find. can not be enough about this place rave and will definitely be revisiting."

"I have not eaten in Luigi's for quite some time, so I was glad to put that right. The service was marvellous with my table being serviced well by a very attentive host. "We have previously eaten at Lucca a number of times and always been very impressed. This time was very different, for a number of reasons. Prices have gone up £6.30 for an Aperol Spritz cocktail is ridiculous considering the price in central London is below £6. Worse than that, both were made using slightly flat Prosecco! Prawn/Calamari starter had only two prawns and was overwhelmed by the calamari it was also pretty bland. Mussels starter tasted really odd. Pizza main course and desert were really good as usual. Service was poor with salads ordered as starters not arriving and having to be asked for. Also other items being forgotten eg coffees and again having to be asked for. We were a large family group and on the day it didn't seem worth complaining as overall the meal was just about acceptable. However, it certainly didn't delight and was a lot of money for an average experience."

"Popped in for an evening meal, ordered two pizzas and an insalate misto. Whilst both pizzas were beautifully cooked with great rise in the dough, both pizzas lacked the promise the menu offered; Calzone with seasonal vegetables contained just some added pepper (not seasonable in the uk at this time of year? , the Mortadella e Pistachio mainly tasted of ricotta cheese little else. The Insalata Misto (mixed salad contained just a leafy salad from a bag was not 'mixed ' at all (should contain a variety of salad vegetables drizzled with balsamico rather than a decent Italian dressing easy to remedy this, surely? The online take away menu reads better (but may not be up to date? . The chefs are obviously able imaginative, but could look at doing traditional pizzas again? Not expensive, but lacking the flavour, oomph honesty of a classic Italian Restaurant."

"I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. Last night, I went back with a different friend after talking it up, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my first experience. We were welcomed warmly and seated at a cute table on the top floor. The restaurant was cozy and had a inviting smell of garlic. Even though it was a Saturday night, it did not seem overly busy as most larger parties were finishing up by the time we arrived. Our drinks were served quickly and we placed our order for starters and mains within 10 minutes. The garlic bread starter was tasty but soggy, and my Gorgonzola rib eye pasta dish was good but only lukewarm. I would have sent it back if anyone had checked on us, but unfortunately, they did not. This lack of attention continued throughout the meal. Our plates were cleared without being asked if we wanted more drinks, desserts, or coffee. Despite wanting dessert and coffee, we were ignored. Irritated, we waited for 10 minutes before deciding that we did not want to spend any more time or money at the restaurant. When we finally received the bill, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the poor service by not leaving a tip. I am unsure if I would return to this restaurant, which is a shame because the prices were good."

"I was taken by some friends as a thank you for all the time I spend looking after their property when they are away. They had been before and really hyped it up. I have never been so disappointed in a meal. It was like going to a Michelin starred restaurant and being served something from the local takeaway. The place is beautiful but my meal did not live up to what I anticipated . I know I should have complained but did not want to upset or embarrass my friends. I ordered the linguine pescatore as I love fish of all kinds. I honestly would not have served that in my home. The only flavour was the huge amount of parmesan put on it. The prawns were the miniscule frozen ready cooked ones. There were about 6 small pieces of squid and as for the mussels, there were 9 of which 2 were empty shells, 1 which hadn't opened and the rest minute and dry. There was no chilli, no olives and no sign of caper paste. Don't know where the wine was and about 4 cherry tomatoes. The pasta was over cooked and stuck to itself. I know an espresso coffee is small but I have never had so little coffee in one ever. To say the least this will be my first and last visit."
