"In Llandudno again for a little break so thought we'd try Romeo out, as we've tried most of the others. Booked in for 5.30pm and told 2 hours to dine which is reasonable. We were shown to a fantastic bay window table with a nice view of the streets, promptly given drinks food menu's by our very efficient server. Drink prices were about what we'd expect in most restaurants and were good, Peroni beer wine for us and San-Peligrino for the kids. Wine was good, not supermarket rubbish as found in most places. Our starters, Bread with olive oil, Balsamic vinegar and Antipasti misto were honestly brilliant! Mains were meat balls, Bistecca Al Gorgonzola, and 2 Margarita pizza's, all of which were very good and served nice and hot. You have a choice of veg potatoes or chips salad with the steak. I wanted chips and veg and had to pay for the veg as a side order. Most places I've dined at offer a choice of potato with either salad or veg. The only fault all night though so minor. Our daughters had pudding, Fudge cake and a massive ice-cream sundae with fresh berries again both very impressive. All in all a fantastic meal with excellent drinks and a brilliant service. I'd recommend booking as the place was full within a hour of us being seated! We will certainly head back when in Llandudno again."

Just turned up at 6.45 and got last table for 2. Service and food was excellent. Best Italian meal we have had for years. Strongly recommend booking.

My wife and I had a dinner at Romeo on the spur of the moment and it turned out to be the best food we had in Wales since arriving a week ago. From the first phone call, to the greeting at the door, to the fabulous food and service, every aspect was top notch. We did not expect such amazing Italian food, but it was fresh, tasty, and a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

We turned up on the off chance and were able to sneak a table in the dining area. Staff very friendly and service was prompt. The menu catered for many tastes and when our food arrived it was well presented and tasted excellent. Everybody was very happy with their orders and plates were cleaned! For two courses with sides and drinks we paid £30 per head, which was good value. Would thoroughly recommend, though definitely worth booking first.

We've been to llandudno many times but just came across this restaurant while staying nearby. We called in without having booked a young said there was a table free but needed to be clear by 7.30 which was plenty time for us. Lovely, warm, homely building. We both had lasagne with pizza based garlic bread. It was excellent. Very flavoursome and beautifully presented. Although planning a sweet to follow, We were both stuffed at the end of the meal. Very pleasant staff. Would definitely return. Thanks. View menu

Called in with my son on the off chance that they could fit us in and allowed children. All the staff were very friendly and were very good (amazing) with my son. He loved his pizza and my steak was good. Have knocked a point off just for the combination of small things such as steak not being quite as rare as I like but was only more like medium rather than medium rare so still acceptable, no vinegar, initially no tomato ketchup and original bill for full price meal for my son although the ketchup and bill were quickly rectified. Will definitely be trying to visit again when in the area again, maybe even later in our holiday.

after visiting Romeo on numerous occasions on visits to Llandudno i expected standards to still be at a high level but me and my partner where disappointed!!. we where booked in for a meal at 530pm, shown to the table but waited 15 minutes to be served while watching customer come in after us being served promptly, , with a water jug and asked about drinks and food, totally unprofessional, when we did get asked about drink and food no water jug was brought and the drink my partner ordered was served wrong, we had to ask a waiter WHO LOOKED PUT OUT to rectify the mistake, which he did, the food we had was mediocre at best but hot and edible, very bland in taste, so disappointed in this visit,...

"As you drive into the car park at Signatures, you may wonder if you’ve made the right choice for dinner. Yes, it’s a restaurant that’s at a “holiday home resort” – and that’s a posh caravan park to you and me. But, fear not, we’d been here before and know that it punches above its weight, making it one of the better restaurants along the coast. The menu is well rooted in “Modern British” food which means it occasionally makes a leap away from the comfort of Northern Europe. As in a starter of king prawns, dressed in a quite pokey satay sauce, served with a crispy noodle salad. It worked. As did a lobster bisque which had the richness of the one you get in jars at Waitrose but enhanced with small bits of lobster. It’s accompanied with a small slice of toast, topped with mayo, crab and prawns. Sirloin steak was accurately cooked as requested but could have done with a bit of seasoning. It came with classic accompaniments – nicely cooked “fat chips”, grilled cherry tomatoes and a field mushroom.. “Trio of lamb” was a good representation of the modern classic of “meat three ways”. A couple of slices of perfectly pink fillet. Some long cooked shoulder. And breast, also long cooked, then pressed, breaded and fried to crisp. That came with “Palouise” potatoes – Google doesn’t find that term but it seemed be a boiled potato topped with buttery gloop (no, I wasn’t a fan). But it’s more than made up for by Savoy cabbage, roasted carrot and a lovely rich sauce. We often pass on dessert but not this time. Two classics on the menu, Firstly sticky toffee pudding – it’s rare to see a menu these days which doesn’t have it on. And, most times, it’s not worth the calories. But, here, it’s a delicious light sponge, pretty much perfect butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream, Homemade “Arctic Roll” and jelly will whisk a generation of Britons back to their childhood. Ice cream surrounded by sponge was fine. The fruit jelly was excellent – really fruity rather than just generic “sweet”. Good coffee to finish."
