"Expensive, but WORTH IT. I mean, it is not a restaurant anyone would hope to be cheap anyway. First of all, as expected: really good service. The only bad thing is we waited quite a bit between courses. I had the festive menu of: confit Loch Duart salmon, beef wellington, and chocolate and hazelnut parfait. They were all beautifully plated. We got complimentary consomme, delicious butter (from a famous butter maker if I may add), and sourdough bread. In the end we also got chocolate and caramel truffle which was very good. Now the main dishes. The salmon was just okay, until I combined it with a little bit of everything on the plate: cucumber sauce, cream cheese, and wasabi sorbet. The flavours blend perfectly well. But if you like smooth foie gras and crispy chicken skin, I suggest trying the other appetizer since I tried my friend's and it was MORE delicious. The beef wellington was really good, with well seasoned pastry, ham, mushroom covering, and pink fillet. Together with the bordelaise sauce it was stunning. I love coffee, so I ordered the parfait which was really good. The jelly was tiny though. If you love dark chocolate, get the chocolate cremeux."

"Very poor. More like a takeaway with tables. Didn’t have the options advertised on their website. Order via a QR code and pay upfront. No waiting staff- just servers. Food took half an hour to come and it all comes at once (starters mains) and then the drinks came after. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets weren’t clean. I will never go back"

"We chose to dine in, it had seating but it's predominantly a take-away service so there were three tables to choose from. The service was quick and polite, with food being freshly made. We arrived not long after Umami opened, so the staff serving made sure the table we at was wiped down and clean for us. The food was said to be out roughly 15 minutes from ordering but it came out quicker than that. My sister ordered teriyaki tofu bento with duck oishi steamed buns (eyes bigger than her belly! Whilst I had tempura aubergine with vegetable gyoza. My sister enjoyed the bento buns, flavouring was lovely, generous amount of everything! She almost fell in love with the buns after one bite and her inner gollum came out. The tempura was very hot, but light enough to not feel stuffed as was the gyoza, pleasant and definitely able to enjoy everything. "I really can't explain how good this restaurant is. I and my friend go here at least once in the week because the rams are so addicted. almost all nets can be made on request vegan and they are very courteous and friendly. in some restaurants I feel vegan judged by the workers for the demand for traditional meaty/fisheries, but they are so beautiful and understanding here. it is so good that when I and my friend go to eat and our meals to any other, we use this restaurant as a comparative point as it is always 10/10. we were about 20 times and every time we're lost for a worte. also amazing prices, we get a raming huge bowl to share and 8 pieces sushi each time and it comes to £18-20. I can't believe in how much I encourage you to go! I have no criticism."

"Neighborhood sushi connection in stoke newington. we went as a coward on the new year evening to the early evening dinner before the family all distributed to their respective parties. the personal was on the ball and the sushi was very good and inventive. the decor is quite simple, but still comfortable and in general it had an inviting mood. our waitress was covered with dids, but it is stoke newington and she was on the ball with service. highly recommended."

"during the kovid we were forced to go to clifton instead of zanzibar and the experience on par we were obliged to go to the best restaurants in the opposite. noa ended on our radar thanks to a friend's recommendation and we came here twice in a week. eating was absolutely incredible. the highlight was the drachenrolle, I must have eaten four of them during a week. an unforeseen Japanese restaurant in a romantic part of the city and gives the best Japanese restaurant I have visited in the last 10 years. unexplained thanks to the kitchen staff."

"Firstly , we get a takeaway from here almost every Friday night the sushi is absolutely fantastic and the food quality overall is excellent but we always collect as despite living five minutes drive away it can be very Hap hazard in terms of accuracy and time for delivery . Last week we decided to meet friends there instead 8.15 booking , food again delicious but when we asked for plates as we wanted to share a number of dishes the saucers were produced for each of us with no serving spoons. Everything seems to be a hassle when asked for . I then asked for a coffee at 9.30 I was told in a rude fashion that no I couldn’t as the kitchen closes at 9 pm !! Despite there being another two tables still in the restaurant the bleach bucket and mop then appeared to start cleaning down the restaurant ! This included the whole way down the stairs which was completely wet as we carefully tried to leave without slipping on the freshly mop floors at 10 pm on a Friday night ! you feel like you are imposing and irritating them by eating in . So 5 outta 5 for a takeaway but 2/5 as an eating in experience im afraid ."

"We visited Koto Restaurant on North Parade for Sunday lunch for the first time, and we wish we had tried it sooner. The ramen broth was incredibly delicious, with a gentleman next to us remarking that it tasted just like what he had in Japan. The menu was straightforward and easy to order from, with both the broth and noodles being homemade and preservative-free. The food was healthy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only downside was that they do not take reservations, so there may be a wait. Overall, I would rate the food at Koto Restaurant as some of the best in Oxford."

"This is without exception my most favourite restaurant in Chiswick, and Chiswick really is not short of one star or two star Michelin restaurants. "Michiko Sushino in Northwest London offers top-notch sushi that has been on my list of places to eat for a long time, and I finally got to visit last week. The menu is concise, making it easy to choose. We started with prawn gyozas, which were a delightful melt-in-your-mouth experience. The food was exceptional; the large salmon set included a wonderful mix of uramaki, nigiri, and sashimi. My favorite dish was the hanabi prawn tempura sushi, and I also thoroughly enjoyed the scallop sushi. Another intriguing option was the egg omelette sushi, which was quite good. The donburi was also excellent, though I found it a bit crispy in parts. To kick off our meal, I had an Aki gin tonic made with Roku gin and lemongrass infusion, which I adored, and we wrapped up with some sake. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and I highly recommend Michiko Sushino to everyone. If you haven't been yet, or even if you're returning, it's definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I had a fantastic time!"
