"Completely underwhelming!! Seated at 7.45 no offer of drinks just menus. Getting to 8pm so decided to go the bar ourselves and order a drink. Menu pretty rubbish so went with Sunday dinner. Has to be one of the worst I've eaten, seen some pubs do better. Beef fatty, everything else luke warm at best. Pudding menu basically ice creams jazzed up. Wouldn't return!"

"I can only give 1 star for Food and atmosphere as we never got to eat there. We had made a booking for 20 people, which we confirmed on Friday evening over the phone. However on arrival we were told No booking in that name ' ' We explained that we had booked online and confirmed over the phone, we explained that it was a male member of staff who had confirmed this. The server then said we only had Lasses working yesterday (so basically saying we were lying) We asked if they could accommodate us to which we were told No, we don 't do walk in 's for large parties So now we have 20 hungry people needing food including 3 children. A quick phone call to The Whitehaven Golf Club and we had a booking sorted. We arrived and were met with a warm welcome, seated, orders taken and Excellent Food. I 'd highly recommend the WHITEHAVEN GOLF CLUB FOR SERVICE AND FOOD I 'm afraid you have now lost loyal customers HOWGATE BREWERS FAYER as we will not return again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

""The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the cocktails are amazing, and the service is friendly and relaxed. Definitely one of the best places to eat in London! If you haven't been, you're missing out.""

"Usually they love eating the lamproom is excellent, but today we were switched off for a coffee, despite the fact that it says online, they are not quite disappointing, as we traveled mins to get away from everyone we love the atmosphere, were not given a reason simply turned away and said they were not serving. I work in a caffeine myself, so I understand if it was closer to the closure, or if we had a reason, but hours to close, and we couldn't even have a coffee, seems ridiculous."

"It’s not a place where you want to go for a nice cosy meal, but the food was very nice very clean good service. Think it’s more of a Motel and comes across that way , if you want a nice cozy meal at night this is not the place , you will have to sit in the cafeteria where they serve breakfast , Not good!. Also they have people staying at the motel Who the council pay for, So we had one Young Man who was hovering around the bar asking for Drinks apparently they get a allowance , very offputting shame felt sorry for him but you don’t expect this when you go out for a meal. the young lady who served us think she was called Lynnsey couldn’t do enough for us she was bartender, cleaner, waitress and anything else they needed doing ,she was so nice but you could see she was under pressure didn’t seem to have any backup but she was fantastic think they need More staff like her . Would I go again , might but dress down quick meal and out."

"We decided to dine at this restaurant because the hotel next door had limited gluten-free options. The server provided us with a food allergy card to ensure our safety. The menu clearly marked gluten-free items, making it easy to identify. I had several delicious options to choose from and ended with the nachos topped with pork, which were fantastic."

"I'd say we visit here pretty regularly, but I prefer it a bit earlier in the evening as it can get pretty busy and the bar area is a bit tight. The service from most of the bar staff is fast and efficient (one or two though are more interested in looking cool and chatting to girls at the bar). There's a decent range of beers and obviously loads of cocktails etc. Last time I had a zero alcohol lager it wasn't great (erdinger) but I've not ordered one since so may have a better selection now. When ordering short drinks you get a proper glass for single measures, which is actually unusual round these ways, so it's nice if you're just wanting to have a relaxing drink and not get too drunk. Pricey place though, even more so than most in the area, but it's a good bar with usually decent music. Just pick and choose who you go to to get served!"

"We always go to Bills but our last couple of visits have been awful. We decided to come back last night as we had hoped our previous poor experience might’ve been a one off sadly we we’re wrong. Starter took 40 mins we think they forgot to process it. When the mains arrived, One was okay, But the other was like warm and the chicken was very dry, no amount of Mayo could save it! The chips were also soggy and cold. When the server came to ask if our meals were okay, we said no but it was too late to wait for a replacement meal, so didn’t bother eating it. The manager did not charge us for the inedible meal or starter, but this is not the first time this has happened and it wasn’t even busy. We also noticed other guests returning their meals, so clearly something wasn’t right. It’s such a shame as we have enjoyed many good meals here before"

"I had a lovely experience at Clean Cut today. The food was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. In particular, Dale, the manager, was extremely pleasant and accommodating. He is a real credit to Clean Cut. I’ve dined at numerous restaurants in Nottingham, but this experience at Clean Cut was beyond reproach. I opted for the French Toast and my daughter went for the vegan breakfast — both were very different, but equally delicious. I would recommend Clean Cut to everybody and I will certainly be coming back."

"This was the best restaurant we visited during our trip to Northern Ireland. The food, service, and overall atmosphere were outstanding. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious. We indulged in BBQ wings drenched in sauce, a chicken and pulled pork burger, and seafood tagliatelle. Although I'm not a fan of mussels, I asked for them to be removed from my dish, and I was quickly offered a substitute fish. There was plenty of fish, and the sauce was delightful. The fresh chips and burger were devoured completely. We would have gladly returned every day if we had stayed longer. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals and looking at the amusing signs and decor around the bar. I believe there’s a larger dining area upstairs if needed. The company was wonderful, and the owner was cheerful and eager to assist us. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. We’ll definitely be back next time to try the cheesecake and to have some fun with Jeff!"

"I have been a few times and was rooting for these independent bakers to make a successful transition to cafe ownership. Spent most of my time watching them get it more and more wrong. Main problem is that they are filthy dirty... front of house, baked goods counter, espresso machine, kitchen and bathrooms. Even above average food is not enticing out of a dirty kitchen. I chose not to eat this visit. The Blonde was happy with expensive avocado toast. Come for a hot sterile coffee if you must! Although beware the sus mugs (they ran out of clean cups during our visit) Espresso drinks come with a free sideshow as young untrained staff completely **** off the customers in front of the owner (who like Reacher says nothing). I thought the posh middle-aged Scottish tourist in front-of me was going to come to blows after 10-minutes of trying to get a gormless young man to see sense. She gave up. We almost did too while waiting 10-minutes to be 'shown to ' (pointed to) a menu-less table standing ready and empty. Unfortunately I think more unoccupied tables are in their future, as I will not eat here again."

"I visited balans for a prominent brunch with uni friends after our last hand. it was quite quiet (unsurprising since it was 10 o'clock on Monday) and they quickly put together a table for the five of us. at the end my friend and I shared the speck pancakes and eggs benedict and it was delicious. the eggs were boiled to perfection, served in English muffins with strokes of hollandaise, while the pancakes were thick and fluffy, the speck tasted perfect. the beautiful at balans is that they really do any breakfast option, pancakes, French toast, eier, chorizo con papas, avocado toast, that are going to do. they would find something that suits every breakfast taste. we followed our breakfast with a round celebrity drinks. the girls decided for cocktails while I stuck with prosecco what was delicious. the girls loved that they are cocktails, but said they were a bit strong, but maybe that was just because it was a Monday morning! they have a service fee of 12.5% on the bill, but we have nothing to pay about because the service was fab, they were attentive and fast, but let us relax and also don't let us out. the meal was really reasonable, with breakfast and a round drinks, including service fees worked around £17 a head, quite reasonable for london! I was really impressed by everything, a frequent visitor in westfield, I tried many of the restaurants and that was one of my favorites. I will definitely return to try the lunch menu!"

"We..booked a table..arrived on time ..was seated.. looked at the very sticky menus...(There where notices everywhere informing us the place was closing 7th May ..for a Refurb. We tried to order on the QR code stuck to the end of the table...and it came up with the lockeepers page then asked for you to pay £3 to varyfy the payment i had all ready put in my bank details to pay...then it took us to another page and we couldn't go any further... on asking the landlord..he said that wasn't the right page he didn't know how it had happened. not even looking at the QR Code on the table... We ordered food at the bar 2 chicken sizzlers and a fish and chips. food arrived hot ..and very minimalist compared to the pictures...when asking a member of staff they said that's the normal portion..I had two small pieces of sprouting broccoli not even half a pepper and a quarter of a onion...bothe portions where the same..with a piece of chicken out of a multi bag from farm foods ..very dry and crispy around the edges...the chips with the fish chips had been double dipped in the fryer for the colour on them.. all together..never coming back..and won't enter one of these pubs again. Oh and the QR code is a company advertising there gaming company charge you £3 and the £27.99 every fortnight if you don't cancel it withing the first 24 hours..thankfully we started looking into it as soon as we got home..because we didn't want to be robbed again for the second time in the same night..."
"Really impressed by Bill’s at Bluewater. Often when we go to a tried and tasted chain at Bluewater it’s a big let down, but Bill’s definitely didn’t disappoint, even on a busy Friday evening. Really good range of food, lovely helpful staff, and the food was of a great standard."

"We seem to visit this cafe about once each year. Although it is close to home, and we eat breakfast out every day, it doesn’t quite deliver the experience that would lure us back regularly. On a sunny morning, the outdoor tables at the front...of the cafe beckoned. They have put a lot of effort in to making the space as Covid-safe as possible with tables divided in to two by partitions. The phone app ordering system is presumably also intended to support safer Covid practice, but at the expense of customer experience. If you are a regular or already registered for the app they use, this may work well, but it was definitely a very bad start to our latest experience of this place, with the people at the next table experiencing the same frustration for different reasons. Why you need to provide your date of birth before you can order your breakfast, I do not know. But as it doesn’t allow you to input the date yourself, you have to count back month by month by month by month!! Might be fine if you are but if you are as my husband now is, you will still be clicking your screen long after you have given up on ever getting even a simple cup of coffee to start the day. We did comment and ask a staff member if there was any easier way but didn’t get any sympathy. Although to be fair, the other staff here were pleasant. And of course this form of ordering doesn’t enable you to get what you want. I wanted coffee but there is no option to ask for an extra shot we did try. So eventually we gave up and ordered tea. We couldn’t check on the app that it was a pot of tea, which was what we wanted usually at a high price and this kind of establishment it will be, but no. Tea doesn’t come in a pot, but as a teabag in a mug which is never a good look. If you like weak tea, ask for some hot water when the app ordered tea is delivered to your table (it will then come in a second mug I was pleased to be able to order smoked salmon and scrambled egg, served with sour dough toast and they were a success. The one highlight of the meal. My husband chose his breakfast because it included black pudding, but he was underwhelmed by the dish that came out. The outdoor seating area is pleasant, as are the staff, but the overall service experience and drinks options remain disappointing. Will try again in fingers crossed."

"The best food we have had in a long time! Just back from a spontaneous Friday night dinner with Hubby and 8 year old son. We booked for the Bistro at the start of dinner service 6pm). Even though we had only booked for two adults we were welcomed to a bigger table without any problem. Drinks were served promptly and we ordered Tuna Nicoise, Smash Wagu Burger with chunky chips and salad and Bangers and Mash with peas off the kid's menu. All the food was absolutely delicious, expertly cooked and great portion sizes. It's really hard to find such a good balanced pub menu with really fresh ingredients and cooked by chefs who obviously know how to cook! Hubby had a delicious Peach sundae served with a shot of Peach Schnapps and included with the kids meal £6) came some good quality ice cream. I rarely write reviews but as this was such exceptional food I felt compelled to share! Service was attentive and friendly. Our meals with drinks cost less than £60. We will be back!"

"First of all I wouldn‘t recommend eating inside the cafe as the staff is washing the dishes by hand behind the counter which creates a noise level that makes any conversation impossible. After changing our seats and a wait of about 30 minutes we received our food. Both „Milkwood Breakfasts“ were missing the bacon. The waitress had to check back with the kitchen if the dish actually is supposed to have bacon. Mind the menu is not that big. The worst part though was the hair we found in one of the dishes (huevos rancheros). After communicating this to the staff they took the dish, waited a few minutes and brought back the exact same plate (we knew because there were some tomatoes on the plate that aren’t usually part of the dish but ended up on the plate as one of my friends doesn’t like them). Regarding the bacon and the hair, their mistakes resulted in our food being colder than it had to be but without any compensation. We still ended up paying the full price as well. Regarding the food itself, pretty unspectacular and really not worth the above average price. The outside/garden area looks rather shabby. Bird poo on the tables and chairs. I would not recommend this place to anybody."
"Additionally, there were guests from the motel mingling around the bar asking for drinks, which was quite uncomfortable and felt a bit inappropriate. It was disheartening to see, especially since this isn't what you anticipate when going out for a meal. However, our server, a young woman who I believe was named Lynsey, was wonderful. She went above and beyond to assist us and was incredibly friendly. You could tell she was under a lot of pressure and didn't have much support, but she was fantastic and definitely deserves more help. I would consider returning, but probably just for a quick meal."
