"What a disappointment! Have Satis House for Christmas meal for my colleagues for 5 years, but definitely not used again. The starters were fine, but the main meal was a catastrophe, burned Pasnips and everything was cold, plate was not heated. Couple next to us sent food back there because it was cold. Usually the restaurant is full on a Sunday, especially on the run until Christmas, but there were only two tables for lunch. We didn't worry about puddings, but you really need to sort out."

"I had a fantastic lunch at M Restaurant! The menu offered a great variety of options, and everything I tried was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was perfect for a midday break—relaxed but still sophisticated. The service was prompt and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Whether you're looking for a business lunch or a casual meet-up, M Restaurant is a great choice. I’ll definitely be returning!"

"first day in the margot for st patricks sitting the ambiente and the environment were very nice. trendy bar with comfortable sitting options and some cool little features. feels quite intimate with dimm lighting and mixing of stands, sofas and tables personal was also really nice. great prompt service around with a smile, especially the great male manager, who was nice enough to load my phone we had to share the Mezzo plate. it was enough to fill both of us, because no complaining to everyone was eating and meat was fab. also noticed the express lunch deal (less than for chips, main and softdrink) that looked like brilliant price-performance ratio. they were sweet and tasty, although the bao could have been a bit softer to separate with a spoon of cocktail menu, has many different dings on it. exciting to try some new creations. my mother (not in the regular in cocktails) thought the blueberry hill was incredible. the love will radiate us apart, was also very nice. the cherry blossom found a little synthetic (taste just like a cherry-surz shot) and was not as good as the other two, although I loved the fresh flowers as garnish perfect photo opportunity. would make a perfect place for a relaxed date."

"they have messed up our order. they have not cooked the ribeyes properly. sweet and far to rare. the remaining food was cold. the employees came out of the customer toilet during the service? either romantic or drug. both are unprofessional. terrible atmosphere. the girl that served us was the redeemer. she had a feeling of humor and could think in her feet. she should work somewhere else so that she is not bound into a bad review by unity."

"We came here because it was a gluten free food Establishment. The staff were really friendly and the overall feel of the place was very professional. Our food came and it was out of this world. The presentation on the plates was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, even more because I didn't have to worry about being glutened. The dessert menu was great. Myself and my partner both picked the protein pancakes and again the presentation was fantastic. They really did look as good as they tasted. I look forward to visiting again"

"Have been past here so many times, but today thought we would go in and get a breakfast. And we were very pleased we did. The cafe itself is great inside with old style booths in the front and tables with a TV in the back. The food was very nice indeed and we also tried a couple of house cocktails, well why not? They had the world cup on in the back, so we carried on our day with a few pints watching the footie. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will now be a place we come more often for sure."

"Nice but very small potions on very small plates. Scones on the menu but not available that day- staff could say whats not available that day when taking drinks orders. Staff a bit brusque. Not smiling, seemed stressed. Lovely cafe but style over substance and friendlier staff would make quite a difference."

"Awful. Miserable service. Flat beer. Chewy calamari in a tasteless sauce. Soggy truffle fries. Overcooked hamburger. Thank God they were out of steak, God only knows what that would have been like! And that was of their main course menu! They never brought out the spinach, but tried to charge us. Nothing American about it"

"The best coffee shop in London! The coffee is delicious—definitely the best in the city! You can't try it without also tasting the baked goods! The service and staff are amazing! I took my parents there for breakfast before work, and they ended up deciding to stay longer. They don’t speak English, but they told me that the waiters went out of their way to communicate with them, even writing down the Wi-Fi password for them! That was such a thoughtful gesture!"

"Exceptional service and food! We booked The Vine for a Hen Party on Saturday 29th July for 32 people .Upon prior to everyone arriving I went down to The Vine to set up the tables etc ,I was greeted by Megan who showed me to the restaurant to see if I liked the way that had set it up , it was absolutely fine I just asked for a couple of adjustments nothing major just the tables to be a little bit more closer together, which she said was absolutely no problem. When everyone started to arrive we were greeted straight away with friendly faces who couldn’t do enough for us . The food was second to none, this came out altogether and was piping hot , it was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were really generous too. As it was for a large party we did pre ordered our food , from a 2 course set menu the restaurant had designed for us , which had plenty of choice for Starters , Mains and Deserts , that suited both meat and plant based options (This is what we asked for) A couple of people in the party are really fussy eaters but they didn’t complain about it and accommodated us accordingly. All in all the service, food and the decor was just amazing , and a credit to Davood and his team for making the Bride to Be’s day amazing .The cocktails were also amazing We will definitely return , maybe not such as a large group next time."

"The restaurant staff are consistently helpful and friendly. The food is consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients. They have the best milkshakes in the country. This restaurant is great for a dine-in experience, especially for dinner. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20."

"As always a treat to visit Chilled morning drinks and food, little card game with my son and great but relaxed service. Never feel hassled or rushed. Had the beetroot borini, was beautiful and the boy fancied a hot chocolate and cake which he demolished. "We passed through this area for a bit of shopping and decided to first stop here for a bite to eat: I chose the set menu around pounds and my partner chose the steak eggs. Both our steaks seemed to be similar...but I did not like mine as it was very thin and chewy, however with the chips and the fresh tomatoes was something my system really needed. Pity my partner's sauce arrived as he just finished his meal and I gave him the bits I could not eat: even the waiter burst smiled as I burst into laughter at his gaffe' as I found it hilarious the manager paid attention to this and dealt with it professionally: I found this very hands on and a huge reason to return to this restaurant that really takes care of it's returning customers. The dessert choice for us was the Eton mess which my partner liked it more that I did. Altogether not bad and yes, surely we will be back."

"I only dined here and didn't stay overnight. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food arrived quickly. However, considering the price range of £20-25 for a main course, I found the style and quality of the food lacking. My trout was served in a bowl of cream, which was overly rich for the fish. Overall, I would rate the service a 5 and the location a 5."

"The place is beautiful definitely, drinks are amazing but definitely not a place for food. I asked the waiter if they could change something of the menu and I had to ask about 3 times because she’d always say “i dont know”, after getting my answer there was a huge miss understanding with the payment which the answer also was “I don’t know” and the food was just tasteless and what actually had flavour wasn’t a good flavour and in the end you pay 30£ with no drinks included. spent about 50£ in there and the only thing I enjoyed was the drinks. Very disappointed"

"The harvester has ruined Christmas 2023. We were positioned right outside a toilet and had everyone brushing past us while trying to eat. We were also next to a large family that let their children run SEMI NAKED around the table. The heating was off and it was freezing. The starters were cold soup or frozen microwaved brie. Mains consisted of cold veg which is quite impressive considering they had been overcooked to the point they were practically mush, paired with meat which had the consistency of leather soaked in brown water that was supposedly gravy Puddings were a choice of the smallest peice of Christmas cake soaked in lumpy custard or 3 profiteroles. Credit where its due, the floor staff were exceptional. Only to be let down by the manager, Neil prior, with his fake accent, who apparently couldn't process a refund despite claiming to be the owner. I have had to leave without any form of refund only an email. I have never heard such rubbish of a manager unable to process a refund. I will never visit this establishment again and would urge others not to. £280 to ruin Christmas. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS IN RESPONSE TO NEILS REPLY 26/12: The room was freezing, even staff commented that the heating was off and should've been on. We saw many surrounding tables with full plates being collected by staff. I understand that it is Neil's responsibility to protect the business' reputation but lying is not the way to do it. Still waiting on a refund and will update as this continues UPDATE 27/12 After raising a formal complaint with harvester, I received an email yesterday evening advising I'd be called by an area manager today this has not happened and harvester continue to spoil the holidays and I've also noticed the few false reviews that have popped up since this review Update 28/12 Spoke to Jennifer who processed my refund and was absolutely lovely, when I went to collect it though I could see neil skulking about in the background still looking scruffy. Overall I still rate it a 1 star experience based on the food but I will say that apart from Neil, the staff at the winding wheel castleford are all brilliant EDIT 28/12 Just received a threatening phone call from Neil on my personal mobile. This is completely unacceptable Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1"

"We came here for breakfast the other day, after looking for a suitable highly rated place on Trip Advisor. It was a nice place. The food was really nice, but the highlight was the service. The lady who served us was just really good at her job. Not only when she spoke to us, but you could hear how she dealt with other customers too, and she was just very professional, polite and natural. I was super impressed. It's not often that you come across someone who provides that level of service, and it made me smile. She was great! And then a different lady took our payment as we left, and she was also lovely. So the service was the star. I feel like I should score higher than a 4, but there's something holding me back. The food was lovely, but I'd had better similar food a couple of days before, in a place with possibly better atmosphere. So maybe I'm judging it on their competition, but hopefully still deemed a really good score. A nice place and I'd definitely recommend it."

"We attended later in the evening in a large group after attending a charity event nearby and got settled in the area by the door pool tables. We did not feel any pressure to order as a group which was good as it meant we could all eat as and when we wanted to which suited better due to there being quite a lot of us, not everyone was hungry at the same time. However, I lost track of time and the staff were kind enough to check prior to food finishing for the night if everyone that wanted food had got food. I had scampi and chips and my husband had a burger and chips. Both were fantastic! Loved the food, loved the atmosphere and loved the staff; they were brilliant welcoming, friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Thank you very much!"
