"We attended later in the evening in a large group after attending a charity event nearby and got settled in the area by the door pool tables. We did not feel any pressure to order as a group which was good as it meant we could all eat as and when we wanted to which suited better due to there being quite a lot of us, not everyone was hungry at the same time. However, I lost track of time and the staff were kind enough to check prior to food finishing for the night if everyone that wanted food had got food. I had scampi and chips and my husband had a burger and chips. Both were fantastic! Loved the food, loved the atmosphere and loved the staff; they were brilliant welcoming, friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Thank you very much!"

Another fantastic stay at the Wellington. Staff lovely, food great and a great sleep. So handy for going into town with bus stop just outside entrance.

Visited with my son, sat in bar area again, what a difference, service was excellent and the food fresh and tasty, homemade nachos perfectly cooked with plenty toppings and not drowned in cheese, highly recommended Mains of crispy honey chicken burger and fajitas both hot, freshly cooked and beautifully presented, exactly the way things should be, don't go back to the hit or miss service and food keep up the high standards , a very enjoyable lunch
