"Once seated, we were quickly offered water, receiving one bottle of still and one of sparkling as requested. We were also offered other drinks, but everyone in our group was content with water. It took us a few minutes to decide on our order, which was perfectly fine since we weren’t in a rush. However, after a while, we began to wonder about the status of our food. We were a group of four, and a table for two next to us, who had arrived after us, was already being served. They, like us, had only ordered main courses, with the enticing dessert menu in mind for later. Another party of two on the other side was served their starters, followed by their mains, while we were still waiting. In the end, I lost track of how long we had been waiting, but I started to feel a bit embarrassed since we had recommended this restaurant to our friends. I decided to look for our waitress, as it had been a while since I’d seen her at our table. I asked her how much longer we might have to wait. She went off to find out but wasn't particularly apologetic. She returned to inform us that our meals would be served shortly. After another 5-10 minutes, our food finally arrived. My monkfish was delicious, while the princess parmigiana was a bit disappointing to those who ordered it. The beef looked fantastic, though the last slice was a bit tough. Regardless, we enjoyed our time with our friends, and there was a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. Ultimately, no one was in the mood for dessert. After a couple of hot drinks, we asked for the bill. Since we couldn’t get the attention of our waitress, we requested it from another waitress passing by. A manager also assisted us in getting our bill."

"Yesterday afternoon, I visited The Orange Pub for the first time. It had been on my list for a while due to all the great things I’d heard about their food. Unfortunately, the poor service has left me unwilling to return. Our group of six was served by a waitress who, despite not using a notepad to take orders, managed to get one of the drink orders wrong in the first round, though she did apologize for it. When it came to the main course, she still didn't write anything down. Five people at our table received their meals, while I waited around 20 minutes for mine. When the waitress eventually approached, she informed me that I would have to wait even longer. I asked how much longer, but instead of answering, she walked away. Later, she asked my tablemates what I had ordered—while I was in the bathroom—clearly forgetting my meal, which could’ve been avoided if she had just used a notepad. A friend had to ask about my food again as I continued waiting. Despite knowing she had forgotten my order, the waitress only apologized to my friend, who had raised the issue, not to me directly. The constant uncertainty around my meal became a major distraction throughout lunch. Half the time I watched five people eat, and the other half, they watched me. The experience was frustrating and completely avoidable. The staff handled the situation poorly, and I never received a direct apology or any gesture, like a snack or drink, to make up for the delay. It's such a shame, because the food was fantastic."

"menu choice: this had a very refined menu that reflected itself in the quality of food that came from the kitchen. to use a table of 14 simultaneously without problems. thete was a vegetarian option, although the one produced in the night was slightly burned on the floor and was easily mixed in taste. service please: the arrival was a little delayed, but that was a Christmas menu and can be expected. there is a bar that is up to get a drink while they wait. the personal was very accommodating and for the greatest part it was inviting. some employees seemed stressed and less satisfied with providing a good service. affordable: great quality for the price, but with regard to affordable it depends on their budget. this is not a mcdonalds menu; but I found that this was just a little over a box-sub menu, but the quality was much better. accessible: easy access from ground floor, but toilets are upstairs in the second floor. the bar is also in the second floor, while the table service is below, but you can order drinks from the edible. Just note that if they need a supported mobility, this could be a problem for them. extended family (teppiche): no pets unfortunately, but this is more a bistro, so take one night and pick up the pet seater, and relax and enjoy yourself. Conclusion: large menu choice and for the best part was the eating delicious and the price tag well worth. the service was really good, only the strange member of the staff seems to be less than enthusiastic. remember, barrier-freeness could be a problem for those who are in the supported mobility. "I ordered takeout from Anna's Thai for the second time on February 4th, and I must say, this was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. When I called to place an order for delivery, I was told that I had to order online. Before I could respond, the person on the other end of the line hung up. Despite enjoying the food previously, I placed an order with the expectation that my delivery would arrive within an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes passed, I had to call twice as they kept telling me the driver was on the way, first in 5-6 minutes and then 3 minutes. Unfortunately, my partner, who is diabetic, was becoming unwell due to his sugar levels, so I cancelled the order and demanded a refund. I was then told that the driver mistook my neighbour for the one who ordered (clearly not reading the order properly) and that they would prepare another meal for us. I rushed out to get an alternative takeaway to avoid further delays, only to find out that our food was being accepted by our so-called neighbour (the driver asked if the food was for them at the specific door number). This was essentially theft and shocking. When I confronted the driver about this and why he was giving our food to someone else, he wanted to give it back to me, which is against Health Safety regulations. I declined and asked him to take the food back. The driver then swore at me, got back in the car, and sped off. Although the restaurant responded to my email quickly, they have not taken any accountability for the situation, claiming that they don't have control over the drivers' behavior once they leave the shop, and their only responsibility is to drop off the food. I am still waiting to see if they will acknowledge their failure to meet customer expectations. My advice: do not order from Anna's Thai."
