"The food and service is second to none but there just isn’t any ambience anymore. The main dining room is too light and the side area for tables of two feels more like a side room for tables of two.. There are service stations everywhere and a waiter put down someone else’s half eaten olives onto our table. They had also run out of all the “go to” dishes which is a little crazy considering the numbers aren’t to capacity. The meal itself was great. Expensive but delicious."

"I just want to pay my tributes to Maze Grill and the staff for the excellent experience we had when we visited you for dinner on New Years Eve! Me and my family felt ourself very special already from the entrance, the bar and throughout the whole dinner. Especially our headwaiter (think his name was Karnal? but also his colleagues had much to do but never failed in attention, on the contrary there where not a single second we had to wait or ask for anything. Nice details as when someone constantly have an eye if our glasses needed to be filled up or when our son dropped the fork he had a new one even faster than he could of picked it up himself from the floor. And we noticed that the staff picked up the napkins and folded it and put it back whenever someone went to toilet or so. And it never felt pushy or so, just nice and friendly discreet attention. And what about the food? The garlic shrimps for starter was great as a appetizer and the steak for main course was perfectly executed, as well as the chips and the cole slaw was to die for. Again the attention for detail was great since we had different choices all four of us. The sommelier presented the wines on an Ipad to choose from and we struck gold for choosing a red stellenbosch one. If we have anything to complain about the wine could of been a couple of degrees colder, it was room temperatur I believe. We could of said something but we didn´t since we already got our main courses. When we left Maze Grill for heading out for the fireworks the doorman helped us with a cab…all nice details that makes you feel happy to pay the bill even if its much more than you usually spend on a dinner as an ”average family”. We will certainly visit you again and we will look for other Ramsay restaurants whenever we travel abroad again. Hope you will find a place in Stockholm to start up a new restaurant someday! "Genuinely one of my favourite high end restaurants! AMAZING food…great entertainment and very good atmosphere. Food is not halal but they have vegetarian and fish options available and they do serve mocktail as well as cocktails and alcohol here. Be aware that food arrives as it is cooked so there is no order as to how the food comes out. There is limited parking around the area so please bare that in mind if you plan to drive, otherwise Uber is a good alternative. The interior is so elegantly designed and the staff are welcoming (most of the time), there is a cloak room for your coats and items, just ask a waiter! The speedy wait time on food is definitely a plus! I highly recommend this restaurant, although please be advised it does get much louder in the evening after 10.30 so not very ideal after this point if you want to have serious conversations. Also note they have a reduced menu after 11.30pm. Fridays and Saturdays are very busy so I have noticed the quality of service drops a bit in comparison to the other days and I have encountered unfriendly stuff at the door especially during my last visit hence the rating. I found this upsetting because as I mentioned previously it is one of my favourite food places and appreciate the quality of food served. They have a live band/DJ in the evenings."

"It's no secret that I love Japanese food. And even less of a secret is my fondness for a good cocktail. So put the two together and I'm a very happy girl. Koji which ticks both these boxes in Parsons Green, seems to be a bit of a secret.... I'd never heard of it until researching sake cocktails for a piece I wrote for Time Out, but when they read my piece they invited me down to sample the cocktails and food in person. I went along with Lucy the night before heading to Tresco to do a weekend of pop ups, and we had the most delicious feast of delicate yet punchy Japanese food with punchy yet delicate cocktails!Koji have an ex Nobu chef in their kitchen and you can really tell there's someone who knows what they're doing there. Every dish was exquisite, and the whole experience heightened by being in such a gorgeous setting if you want to impress a date then head straight to Koji. We started with cocktails in the elegant bar area, which is lit by huge feather covered lights. When you go to Koji (which you really should if you're anything like me about good cocktails and Japanese food) order the lemongrass and chilli martini. The perfect balance of zesty and spicy it left our lips tingling in all the right ways. We didn't get round to trying it but the watermelon martini also sounds divine.The food at Koji is Japanese,with a modern twist. The menu's divided into snacks, hot and cold tapas, robata grill and various forms of sushi and sashimi. Being the good (greedy) reviewers that we are, we tried to sample something from each section. Starting with the most wonderful soft shell crab and asparagus summer roll. Light, fresh and expertly rolled it was a great start to what turned out to be a top notch meal."

"There has been a lot of buzz surrounding this restaurant, and some of the dishes definitely lived up to the hype. The wasabi prawns were absolutely delicious. The duck appetizer and main course were good, but not outstanding. The duck brain was an unconventional offering that was served with a hint of challenge in their smiles. The salt and pepper squid was pleasant but not extraordinary, and the Chilean Sea Bass was also good. The steamed rice and long life noodles were decent but nothing exceptional. The desserts looked beautiful but fell short in taste. Unfortunately, the staff began cleaning and making noise with plates and cutlery before we had finished dessert, giving the impression it was time to leave. We felt somewhat neglected until the bill came, at which point we felt pressured to increase the service charge. The sommelier was knowledgeable and the wine we chose was enjoyable. Overall, I am glad I tried Kai, but I don't see myself returning. I prefer establishments like Yauatcha and Hutong, which offer delicious food at more reasonable prices. I believe Kai may be better suited for companies entertaining clients on expense accounts, who would likely be pleased with their choice."

"Booked this restaurant for my son's 21st . Had gone in a few days before to see the place notify them of dietary allergies. All was noted down . On the day we were seated as per my request in a booth . Took awhile for our drinks order to be taken. When ordering the appetizers I informed the waitress about the lactose shellfish allergies. Was told that they can't give guarantee that there will be no cross contamination. Which we understood. The waitress however failed to take the food order and only took the cocktails order. I then called another guy Massimo explained re the allergy . He was helpful took the order. Food was really good with regards to presentation taste. The reason for give only 3 stars is due to the service . For a restaurant of this level I would have expected more attentive service we had to ask for our wine glasses to be refilled twice. There was no shortage of staff from what I could see. Danilo was also helpful by getting us a table at the bar after we had payed the bill in the restaurant . If the service had been better I would def give this place 5 . Food , decor, atmosphere is amazing ."

"I really wanted to like this, we were bought the tasting menu as a gift, and waited for a special occasion to use it. Unfortunately this was sub standard. I would not recommend for the price. Good points interesting use of seafood, never had a sea bream chaat before, and in all fairness this dish was the best we had. wine pairings were successful flexing between both white and red wines from Europe staff were attentive, although a bit quick to turnover courses door staff were lovely presentation of all the food was better than the taste Negatives decor overall felt dated and old fashioned food was largely bland over spiced and not enough flavour. Actually left my main meal of sole kebab as was rubbery overall atmosphere felt stuffy and not at all worthy of a special occasion price did not justify vs other tasting menus. I wouldn’t have wanted seconds of anything Sign of a bad experience when partner wanted more food on the way home : s"

"First class. Food and service were superb. Truly accomplished and delicious dishes. My friend, who doesn’t really care much for food, declared the honey parfait dessert to be the best thing he’d ever eaten. I had the rhubarb soufflé, the presentation of which is hilariously risqué! The rack of Dover sole was exquisite. Lots of little treats too. The sommelier was really good even though we weren’t splashing out on wine on this occasion. Her dirty dry martinis were excellent. Overall, a five-star experience. Ambience-wise, it was a bit quiet on Saturday lunch; and it is undeniably expensive. No doubt a causal connection between those two minor quibbles. However, we both agreed that it was worth it and have spent comparable sums (or more) elsewhere for far less. The team behind this restaurant are at the top of their game: they appear to love what they do; and pull out the stops to give their guests a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and kind but not intrusive. Consummate professionals."

"Just enjoyed a superb meal. We had Pani Puri Sheek Kabab starters followed by Paneer Lababdor and chicken makhani. All dishes were really good, but the chicken was the best “butter chicken” I have ever eaten. Really pleased they have continued to fill the dishes with plenty of meat and paneer. Price is still fair. Umami may not match Dishoom for decor, but the food is just as good."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"We ordered a big family meal from Priya Lounge on the 7th July for my mothers bday meal, and I must say I am very happy we chose this restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious! We had ordered about x9 mix tandoori starters which was a great choice as it came with a variety of sheesh kebabs, chicken tikka lamb tikka, for the price and the taste is was a bargain! We ordered an array of curry dishes and a couple of biryani dishes which were all cooked to perfection and really nice and authentic just like my family I like. The gentleman on the phone who took our order was called Miah and I happened to mention that it was for my mothers bday meal and when we received the order we had been given a complimentary king prawn dish for my mom as a special treat, which we really appreciated and was a nice touch. Very rare do we order asian food from takeaways as we tend to cook it at home, but I am glad we chose Priya lounge for this special occasion and hope to order from there again soon."

"The host was excellent upon our arrival, but our table was not ready on time. This wasn't a big issue as we were able to stand and enjoy a drink while we waited. "We chose to dine at Tiien Thai tonight based on its recent award in the local Bournemouth Echo. Despite our anticipation and pre-booking, our experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the restaurant's entrance and overall ambiance seemed lacking in the vibrant and cultural Thai theme we expected. The decor felt uninspiring. The extensive menu offered a variety of choices, but our disappointment grew when we discovered that the curry, priced at a minimum of £15, did not include rice – an additional charge of £4.50 for boiled rice seemed excessive. The ribs we ordered as a starter were notably fatty, with minimal meat, and lacked flavor. The service further contributed to our dissatisfaction, with a substantial 40-minute wait for our mains, resulting in a total two-hour duration in the restaurant. Our observations suggested a general consensus of poor service among other tables. Upon receiving the bill, we noted inaccuracies, and the question of whether we wanted our change was an unexpected conclusion to our dining experience. In summary, our visit to Tiien Thai was underwhelming, and we don't feel compelled to return. The overall quality was average at best, falling short of the restaurant's reputed excellence. Given your reservations, exploring other Thai options, particularly in Wimborne, may offer a more satisfying culinary experience."

"Dropped in for an evening meal with my wife. The restaurant was quiet but the food was delicious. We shared a garlic king prawn starter. "I live very locally to this branch of Nando 's and have eaten here several times before with family members. I won 't be visiting ever again, and it 's making me think twice about ordering a delivery from any restaurant! I 've just walked past at about 7.30pm, and as I did, I saw a delivery driver standing in front of the delivery window, turn his head to the right and proceed to place his hand against his nose, blowing the snotty contents onto the pavement next to him. He then turned his head back in to the delivery window, and carried on waiting to take the order he was about to deliver to some poor, unfortunate, and unsuspecting customer! So, I 've telephoned the restaurant and asked for the Manager. Joao answered, and assured me that he is the Manager. I explained to him what I had just seen happen, and his response was that it was unfortunate that you had witnessed that, but, we are not responsible for the behaviour of the delivery drivers, and that it was a Deliveroo driver. I responded that it was Nando 's food that was being delivered, and that indeed he was responsible! He asked for my name. I declined. What difference does it make if he knows my name or not? This kind of disgusting and unhygienic behaviour was NOT OKAY pre Covid, let alone now! You 've definitely lost mine and my family as customers. Joao, quality control IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! It doesn 't stop when the food leaves that delivery window. This is why I always wash my hands after accepting a delivery from any restaurant, before plating up, and again before eating...and after seeing this foul behaviour, I really don 't think I 'm being too careful!"

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Chequers. It is unfortunate because the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the service from the staff is professional and attentive. However, the food was a letdown. During lunch with my friends, we found that the starters were not freshly made. The main dishes with red meat were undercooked and tough, the lobster tail seemed to be frozen and had a rubbery texture with a chlorine-like taste (I took one bite and decided not to eat it due to the off taste). The chicken Milanese was burnt and very dry. I suffered from food poisoning that night as a result of my meal. Upon speaking with local friends, I discovered that none of them dine at Chequers due to the poor food quality and high prices. It was a disappointing experience as I had high hopes for this restaurant."

"If I could I would give zero stars. Incredibly racist staff who ended up making my 9 year old niece cry at her own birthday dinner. After being forced to pay for all food upfront, we simply queried about the service charge then added to our additional drinks we wanted to pay for at the end. We still paid for this and as the waiter was getting our payment decided to tell us we would no longer be welcome there as the manager heard us talking about the service charge. When I then told the waiter this was Incredibly inappropriate to do at the table, he didn 't even apologise. I then spoke to the manager and told him how inappropriate that was he simply shrugged his shoulders and when we even mentioned my niece was crying he again shrugged his shoulders. When I said 'how can you not even offer an apology ' he then decided to say 'OK then, sorry '. I believe this treatment was down to the fact we were a Black family as we could see how the staff treated others in the restaurant. Terrible terrible attitude and would not recommend if you aren 't of their target demographic."
