"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant with its moo ping and khao niew that transported me back to Thailand. The staff were incredible and served us with great care. Despite our initial doubts due to the empty restaurant at 8 o'clock on a Thursday, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and authentic food. I am grateful to have discovered this gem. Even though I didn't catch our server's name, one of them had recently returned from Thailand and even gave us some durian and dried bananas to try. The hospitality was truly Thai and heartwarming. Thank you! With such great food, they should be much busier. The pad thai and drunken noodles were also outstanding."

"We phoned and booked dinner two to three weeks in advance: a birthday treat. The guy took our phone number and verbally confirmed. When we arrived it was shut: it shuts every Tuesday. They couldn't be bothered to get back to us. If this is what they call customer service, then we won't be back. Pity I couldn't post without stars! They deserve minus stars. Please note. Despite the reply below, no message was received, and no image of the text was sent. We gave a land line number! The date was the 1st August NOT the 4th August."

"Fresh flavours, seafood also very fresh and that is a rarity. The food is a great step up from most chinesr restaurants and the staff are friendly and attentive. One point that is not often mentioned is that it's a small restaurant with not many tables but they don't cram you in. So many small restaurants cram in extra tables and at the Mira they allow space and comfort. I can't wait to go again Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The delivery was on time and the food was still hot when it arrived. The portions were generous and we were all satisfied with our meals. Overall, we had a great experience with "Wraps & Wings" and will definitely be ordering from them again in the future."

"Hands down the best Thai food in Leeds. Tasty food thats amazing value for money. Tom kha soup is to die for, and paenang curry is top notch. We always ask for soup extra spicy, and they are always happy to comply. Noodles are also super tasty, and if you like seafood, the prawns are really fresh and meaty! Whether you take away or sit in, it's brilliant either way. The bonus of bringing your own booze when you eat in just tops it off. They offer plenty of choice themselves, though, if you don't bring your own. Places like Zaap in Headingley don't even come close to the quality! Definitely a hidden gem!"

"AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POSIONING !!! Xen Noodle Bar Used to be the place to go what has happened ! Terrible experience ! Where to start When got seated we noticed the tables were filthy the floors were matching to, bits of food everywhere dead flys on the lighting the seats were all cracked and fabric missing, at this point we should of just left ! But we didn’t we placed our order and then the girl who was working told us the card machine was playing up and could we pay by bank transfer what at this point I didn’t mind, it was only when another couple walked in ordered they didn’t mention anything about there card machine not working to them so they must of thought we looked like we came from a certain community ! Then the food comes honestly this was terrible the plates were cold dirty underneath ! The food looked like it had been just sat there and dumped on the plate. We had to complain as it was luke warm and really just awful, the girl who told us the card machine was broke had left at this point and we spoke to another member of staff who tried to charge us for the meal again and we told her no we have already paid as the other member of staff told us the card machine was playing up and she said that nothing was wrong with the machine ! We did get refunded for one of the meals starters but I think the only reason they did this with ease was due to the local council food hygiene officer was doing a inspection at that moment in time."

"we've been here for years. I was disappointed to see the much smaller lists of the elements on the menu. but the mixed meat knowhow was as beautiful as I remember. we were very happy with the taste of the food and the size of the portion. the personal was beautiful and the building is wheelchair-friendly (in contrast to the filiale in high wycombe). we were very happy with our meal the only part was that they forgot an article we ordered when it was not busy."

"The restaurant offers a variety of delicious vegetarian options, including veg spring rolls, tom yum soup, sticky rice, Jasmine rice, stir fry noodles, Green Thai curry, and Penang Thai curry. The decor is beautiful and authentic, with lovely orchids adding to the ambiance. The menu features a great variety of fusion food at reasonable prices. The staff provides amazing service, accommodating large groups and ensuring timely delivery of delicious meals. Vegetarian options are plentiful, with the option to ask for more choices if needed. Convenient parking is available next to the restaurant, making it easy to visit. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, offering non-spicy options for little ones. Overall, a highly recommended spot for excellent Thai cuisine."

"Totally satisfied and highly recommending it. We arrived at 19:30 on a Friday night and was taken to the first floor as the ground floor is full. The atmosphere is great nice Thai style wooden chains, patterned placemats and painting on the wall, and most importantly relaxing music. I felt like I am in a nice Thai SPA room. The food is very nice and served with delicate dishes, bags and candle base. We had sticky rice and green curry with pork, which is spicy but definitely delicious yummy when mixed together. The starter combo including chicken satay, spring roll, prawn toast and stick fried prawn is hot and tasty, which are well suited on mixed vegetables that have been flavored with sweet sauce. We also had a Thai fried noodle with prawn which was so welcomed by kids. The iced milk tea is also great. Overall this is one of the best Thai cuisine we had in the UK and all the staff are very professional and kind. Highly recommend!"

"After eating in the sukohthai 30 times this year,I have cancelled my old 4 review to write a new 5 review. This is without doubt one of the best Thai restaurants that me and my partner have eaten in in England. The food is always to a very high standard whoever has been doing the cooking, the service always first class and it's always clean and friendly inside..top marks for a first class restaurant,I and my partner are always happy to eat in or order takeaway."

"I will preface this review by saying this was my first trip to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet for about five years and so I might be a bit enthusiastic because of that but I really think this place is fantastic. First of all I was surprised by the entrance. A nice spacious car park that surrounds the really impressive architecture. I really wasn't expecting anything like that is terms of external décor but was really impressed. Walking in, the building was spacious and we were seated for lunch straightaway. We did come on a Wednesday at about one o'clock so it wasn't as busy as it might be on weekends and in the evenings and that suited us just fine. The drinks service was quick and both a pint of Budweiser and glass of Sauvignon Blanc were under £4 each which you don't see in many places these days. In fact the value of the place being £12.50 each for a lunch buffet is such good value for money. If you were spending the equivalent on a takeaway you wouldn't be getting much food. The range of food was good, not as much as I have seen in Chinese restaurants in the past, but it's a good range for a lunchtime and there was plenty of the favourites. Really tasty food, both had a plate of starters and then some mains and it was all really delicious. Ribs, chicken satay, prawn toast, lemon chicken, noodles, egg fried rice, all great. A few random dishes such as little sausages and hash brown balls that I can only put down to food for the kids. The atmosphere was good, seats comfortable, and dining experience very pleasant. Will be going again soon."

"0 stars is what I really want to givePossibly the worst restaurant in Scotland. I haven't been here in a long time due to a previous incident, and they outdone themselves again!Food shocking bacon through a vegitarian dish, good job I'm not Muslim, but then to top it all, and they used this trick last time, when you complain, they come back at you saying YOU MADE THE WAITRESS CRY! Shocking Food, Terrible service -AVOID"

"Had a family meal at Zen Oriental in this evening. We have had meals there a number of times previously and have always enjoyed it, but sadly tonight this wasn’t the case. The food was very disappointing. The Chili king Prawn starters were deep fried...in batter in their shells so each time you took a bite, you got a mouthful of shell. Totally inedible without having to peel off the batter and shells which kind of defeats the purpose! Main courses were all disappointing too; in particular the Kung Po chicken looked very bland and unappetising and the sauce was thick and gloopy. The crispy chilli beef seemed to be all crispy with no beef. To round everything off, the coffee at the end of the meal could only be described as revolting totally stewed and tasted nothing remotely like coffee. It’s a shame that the food seems to have gone downhill it has always been so enjoyable on previous visits. Sorry, but we won’t be back there are far better Chinese restaurants in Aberdeen."

"Everything was great, but our server (I believe her name was Ella) began clearing glasses at the end of our meal. I still had half a drink remaining, but she interrupted my conversation with my friend to inform me that I needed to finish my drink so she could take the glass. Both my friend and I found this behavior to be rude, especially considering we had already paid the £100 bill. I had requested the bill from her earlier, but she never brought it to me, so I had to ask another waitress who happily provided it."

"I can't praise this restaurant enough. We've visited a few times before, but my husband made a reservation for my birthday last night. They went above and beyond for me, with balloons, fresh roses on the table, and a birthday cake. It was incredibly thoughtful. The food is absolutely amazing, with delicious flavors and fresh ingredients. The rose wine was of excellent quality and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. I highly recommend giving it a try. My whole family was very impressed. This restaurant is a hidden gem and definitely deserves all the success."

"During my visit to Edinburgh with my family, we stumbled upon Hau Han while searching for a good place to eat. I can confidently say that Hau Han is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to and I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Derek and the rest of the staff - Emily and another girl who served us (unfortunately, I forgot to ask for her name before she finished her shift). They went above and beyond, even giving my mother free Chinese donuts to celebrate her birthday. We were extremely satisfied with the food and service we received. I would definitely give it a 10/10 and would come back to Scotland just to dine here again. It's a shame there isn't one in London!"

"It was my father in laws 78th birthday today so we decided on the Star Inn for a birthday meal. It did not disappoint. One side of the pub was closed for refurbishment so luckily we had booked a table as it was busy. There were seven of us who ate here including three children and we had a fantastic meal. The food was piping hot. The fish pie and chicken Thai stir fries were apparently amazing. My son loved the sweet and sour chicken. I’m veggie and had lasagne which was nice but possibly a little too herby for me but there were so many other options I’m already looking forward to trying in the future. The homemade chips were delicious. The deserts were so good especially the rhubarb crème brûlée. Service was so friendly. The young man who tended to us was so helpful and attentive. I can’t believe I’ve been living so close to this pub and not been a regular before now! Thank you for a lovely meal."
