"This is the ideal spot to commemorate a special birthday. My daughter turned 21, and Wildfire's menu and atmosphere were perfect for both young and old guests! The service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend it."

"My friend arrived early , was shown to the table and not asked if she wanted a drink ..left oar hed until we arrived some mins later. The head waitress seemed very stressed and short with us on our arrival .I understand they were busy but to be just told we are busy and have her run off in the other direction while we waited was a but rude. We then had to ask if we had to order drinks at bar or was waitress service to which we were again told no waitress well be with you in a minute we are really busy abrupt. When we did get to give our order is was rushed and abrupt. My friend got given a gin and tonic when she asked for vodka and tonic..it was replaced which was good. We asked for a bottle of sparkling water and a jug of tap water. The drinks were brought over sporadically and they forgot our tap water. We chose cocktails instead of dessert and asked for the bill when ordering them. We had to ask for the bill twice. Despite the bad service , we had nice time and just got on with the meal celebrating my Birthday. We wont be returning anytime soon."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the service is timely. There is a great selection of dishes, ranging from tapas to mains. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of the main bus station. However, please note that a 10% service charge will be added to your food bill."

"This restaurant is clearly overrated. I ordered the burrata with tomatoes, and the burrata was unremarkable while the tomatoes were overripe. Next, I tried the tagliolini with black truffles; the pasta was slightly overcooked, and there were only three truffles on the plate. Overall, the service was average. We had to request basic items like olive oil, salt, and broth. There was also a diner who loudly complained and insulted the staff, which was quite outrageous. We ended up leaving the restaurant feeling frustrated and upset. While such behavior isn’t acceptable, it reflects the dissatisfaction with the service we experienced."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The lady who welcomed us was extremely friendly (I wish I had remembered her name). We have a couple of allergies, and she was very helpful in accommodating them. My husband and children enjoyed the carvery, while my mother and I opted for curry with naan and rice. The carvery was very good, with the server being clear and thorough in addressing our allergies and very friendly with my daughter. The curries were amazing. I had the butter milk chicken, which I believe was one of the best curries I have had in a long time. The naan was fresh and clearly homemade. We will definitely be returning to try more of their curries. Thank you so much for a great experience!"

"We had a lovely meal here. Two adults two kids. Kids menu was decent. Me and my partner had the bang bang chicken to start which was lovely! Both had the fillet cooked medium, sides all really tasty and home made chips and onion rings! The only thing I didn’t like was the guacamole (I know guacamole with steak but I love avocado! it honestly was the most horrible thing so pale in colour and smooth as anything it was clearly out of a bottle and not homemade. But that’s personal choice I guess! I would definitely eat here again the flavour on the steak was unreal!"

"Upon our arrival, a young man showed us to our table but quickly departed without inquiring if the location was to our liking. I expected him to take a moment to welcome us. I noticed that other groups who arrived after us were treated in the same indifferent way, which stood in stark contrast to the warm and friendly service we received from our waiter Craig. This situation needs to be addressed, as it’s not difficult to make guests feel welcome."

"the increasing opulence of Süd-London has expanded to trendy." streatham with new, cost-intensive restaurants, among them this tapas bar with many backend sessions this place is wonderful. great atmosphere, excellent (and charming) service and fantastic eating. I can't speak for the a la carte menu (yes), but the tapas is very good, and the waiter has suggested how many dishes were enough so that we don't get over. by the way, timeout is correct that the ratatouille is a steh dish. also the sardines are highly recommended. garlic mushrooms were spiced by solid portobello, properly baked, pimentos pardon tenderly with garlic, both patatas...read more"

"When we arrived punctually, we were greeted in a very friendly manner with the words "RESERVATION?" Equipped with the OpenTable reservation confirmation, I made it clear that I have made reservations for people in my name. After a quick glance at her rancid notebook, the waitress wanted to end the conversation with the words "No, sorry." After I again held the confirmation in front of her nose, came another sorry, you could not do anything before she fled to the cane. Then a gentleman accompanied us to the door. On New Year's Eve, finding a restaurant with people in a crowded city was simply impossible, and so, on behalf of people, I would like to thank the Bistro Grad Hometown restaurant for a failed start to the year"

"We were dinning here a few days ago. Waiter was standing and looking at us the whole time. We ordered pasta dishes, could eat quarter of it as all was swimming in butter and fat. Worst part was a dessert, after we ordered the other waiter at the bar was heating all our puddings in the microwave behind the counter and looking all the time that noone sees what he is doing. I would never go back, for the same price can eat fresh and nicely cooked food in other places."

"If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Myself and my sister visited here for dinner after an event at the Olympia. The staff seemed young and inexperienced with no idea which customers needed what- no organisation whatsoever. Both me and my sister ordered burgers, I ordered the blue cheese burger. Waited ages to receive and I instantly sent mine back, a basic burger with a couple of measly bits of old blue cheese. I sent it back and it came back with one scabby but added. The waitress came back to check and I said it still wasn’t satisfactory but I just got brushed off. Neither of us ate our food, for the prices they charge it was worse than a crummy takeaway. The bill came and I was disgusted to find as well as it coming to over £40 they charged a service charge! I managed to get this and the two burgers removed It should also be noted that my sister had a dead fly on her plate! And the sauce they are serving was out of date, as well as the fire alarm being covered with tape (pictures will be provided)"

"Firstly Little Istanbul has changed owners a few months back and is now called the NAR Meze Grill. The restaurant has had a face lift and the food and service are now excellent. This means that all previous reviews for Little Istanbul no longer apply, including some of the more negative comments. I had a late Sunday lunch with a girlfriend, we enjoyed a very pleasant bottle of chilled Pinot Rose before tucking in to starters and mains. As neither of use eat meat we ordered dishes from the good vegetarian selection but there is also a wide choice of fish and meat. Too full for a pudding."

"Fantastic meal my beef wellington was the best I have ever had. The ribs, skate and linguine were all brilliant Unfortunately we were seated in the back of the restaurant in a booth with now windows and no view of the restaurant We were left by the staff having to in three occasions go to the bay for service We even had to wait 15 minutes for someone to ask us if we required dessert even though the restaurant was pretty empty by now Shame about the service"

"Brasserie Joel is situated in a hotel and quite a few of the diners were residents. It thus felt somewhat impersonal. The menu was standard brasserie fare, with nothing exciting or original, but plenty of tried-and-trusted favourites to choose from. Our waitress was on her first day (which she did apologise for) but spoke virtually no English and didn’t have a clue about the menu, so we could only order by pointing at the menu. When she brought someone to help (a manager I think), he still failed to inform me that the main ingredient of a dish I asked about was cheese (describing it as a Gazpacho). Ultimately the food was well cooked and decently presented, with a tarte tatin being particularly delicious. Next to the restaurant there is a nice bar, which was perfect for a digestif. However, the price, at £90/head (including a £65 bottle of fairly ordinary Pouilly Fume) seemed very steep for a brasserie and there are similar restaurants in the area at a far lower price point."

"The restaurant was quite full at 7:30pm with large parties and noisy children. In fairness it was Valentine's Day. Whilst it is always nice to see families with children dining together the somewhat intimate ambience the brasserie seems to target does not seem best suited to young diners. Possibly the problem is that hotel does not offer a more suitable restaurant option for those with youngsters. The bar area serves food but is rather large and not exactly cosy. The food was OK. The onion soup was extremely tasty but the cheese in it was surprisingly over generous making it a struggle to eat. The wine list is as you would expect in a London hotel, was quite expensive but with some excellent options. I made the mistake of asking for a brief pause between starters and main which as it always inevitably does, turned into an unacceptably long delay."
