"My friend arrived early , was shown to the table and not asked if she wanted a drink ..left oar hed until we arrived some mins later. The head waitress seemed very stressed and short with us on our arrival .I understand they were busy but to be just told we are busy and have her run off in the other direction while we waited was a but rude. We then had to ask if we had to order drinks at bar or was waitress service to which we were again told no waitress well be with you in a minute we are really busy abrupt. When we did get to give our order is was rushed and abrupt. My friend got given a gin and tonic when she asked for vodka and tonic..it was replaced which was good. We asked for a bottle of sparkling water and a jug of tap water. The drinks were brought over sporadically and they forgot our tap water. We chose cocktails instead of dessert and asked for the bill when ordering them. We had to ask for the bill twice. Despite the bad service , we had nice time and just got on with the meal celebrating my Birthday. We wont be returning anytime soon."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the service is timely. There is a great selection of dishes, ranging from tapas to mains. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of the main bus station. However, please note that a 10% service charge will be added to your food bill."

"One of our favorites when in London. We had the salt encrusted sea bass and it was outstanding. They have a grilled option but have the salt encrusted. The flavor is enhanced. Very flexible menu with choices for anyone I your party. We had a group of 10 earlier in the week and no one was disappointed. The wines are excellent. We had an early dinner before seeing Phantom and it was excellent and convenient. The staff is very helpful and charming. WE make it a point to visit every time we are in London."

"Hungover and wanted a carvery delivered. The meat was the texture of what could only be described as, cabbage? almost as if it was boiled and watered down, tasteless to say the least. The promise of home made stuffing came to a burning halt when...i opened the box only to find out that I was sold a dream so be faced with a grey ball that was the texture of sand?? the roast potatoes were raw yet soggy? Don’t even get me started on the ‘cauliflower cheese’, nothing like dry cauliflower with no cheese. the array of 2 different vegetables was honestly what’s not to love about raw hard veg. Oh and not to mention it was stone cold upon arrival. Delivery time took 2 hours. Needless to say this is nothing short of an abysmal meal. but a let down with no other than smash and aunt betsy’s yorkshire puddings. wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy."

"The surroundings are very pleasant but unfortunately the gentleman that was providing the live entertainment was really pretty bad, however, the staff realising this did not let him play for very long they did go round asking the diners for their feedback. I had ordered meatballs which were cold when they brought them to the table but quickly changed them for me couldn't apologise enough. I found the staff very friendly they really made us smile making our evening very pleasant which I was delighted with as my husband I were treating our friends to dinner to celebrate their anniversary as we do every year. Entertainment aside we all had a very lovely evening. Thanks again."

"Upon our arrival, a young man showed us to our table but quickly departed without inquiring if the location was to our liking. I expected him to take a moment to welcome us. I noticed that other groups who arrived after us were treated in the same indifferent way, which stood in stark contrast to the warm and friendly service we received from our waiter Craig. This situation needs to be addressed, as it’s not difficult to make guests feel welcome."

"I recently dined in at this restaurant for lunch and had an exceptional experience. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a fantastic setting."

"the growing opulence of South London has stretched to "trendy' streatham with new, high cost esseries, among which is this tapas bar with many backend sessions this place is gorgeous. great atmosphere, excellent (and charming) service and fantastic eating. I can't speak for the a la carte menu (yes,) but the tapas is very good, and the waiter has suggested how many dishes were enough so that we don't get over. by the way, timeout is correct that the ratatouille is a steh dish. also the sardines are highly recommended. garlic mushrooms were seasoned by solid portobello, properly baked, pimentos pardon tender with garlic, both the patatas bravas ad chorizo were plentiful cut for all plundering in the tapas, the salat was unexplainably flat, properly cooled, but not much more, and the patatas mutes lacked any seasoning in tomato sauce... also good value, with tapas for two and a bottle of wine come to £60, which is quite respectable by london prizes and worth every penny."

"here for Christmas moms. beautiful restaurant, but on a Tuesday evening at the beginning of December was in the grunde empty, only one table taken, although another table later taken in the night. presumably in comparison to bogaz in the moulsham street and eating was just as good. this restaurant is located directly in front of the actual center of chelmsford, but is recommended to visit."

"Waitresses are really nice, every table has a small bell that you can use to call a waiter. Food is delicious, nicely thought, vegetables in salads are fresh. Maybe it's just because of the covid situation, but they clean the table as soon as the group that sat there leaves. I've read some reviews here and I've seen that people think portions aren't big enough, especially if you take price into account. I do think the salad was expensive, size was fine, but it was a bit expensive. Chicken was completely fine, size was great and price was ok. I'll definitely eat here again, this is a very good place. Good salad, even if it's a bit expensive, is better than a bad salad."

"Very quiet. Maybe it was the time – Saturday lunch.Has a very, very casual feel. Oddly not lit up very much, almost run-down feel? The starters were very, very basic, and not used much ingredients, or much cooking, but considering the price, not unreasonable. The steaks were well cooked, had a quite strong chargrill flavour, which I enjoyed, but the quality and freshness of the meat is not great. I could taste the lack of freshness in the beef. I’d say the steaks are overpriced considering quality. Cooked well though. The waiter rejected our request for tap water. During the ordering, we each said which steak, how cooked, with chips/baked potato, but 3 out of 4 times, the waiter asked which steak, then chips/baked potato, then how cooked, even though it had been said, just not in the order he wanted. Think of it what you wish; this doesn’t affect the score below.Overall score based on the food 7/10"

"Myself and two friends were looking for somewhere to eat last night (it was a saturday) and stumbled upon Pulcinella. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they found a table for us, and the managed was very welcoming. The waiters were all very polite and efficient with one of taking a photo for us as we couldn't manage to get all of us in the photo. We all ordered our 2 courses and when the food came I have to say it was some of the best I've tasted. I had bruschetta for a starter, and it was so fresh and bursting with tomato flavour. For my main I had a pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten in my life My two friends also thoroughly enjoyed their food too with everyone complimenting how good it was. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect, it's very homey and welcoming. I think it is a great all-around place that would be perfect for romantic dates and also for family meals and whatnot. All in all, I know the next time I visit Glasgow, this will be one of my go-to places to eat"

"Firstly Little Istanbul has changed owners a few months back and is now called the NAR Meze Grill. The restaurant has had a face lift and the food and service are now excellent. This means that all previous reviews for Little Istanbul no longer apply, including some of the more negative comments. I had a late Sunday lunch with a girlfriend, we enjoyed a very pleasant bottle of chilled Pinot Rose before tucking in to starters and mains. As neither of use eat meat we ordered dishes from the good vegetarian selection but there is also a wide choice of fish and meat. Too full for a pudding."

"We went to the Orange Tree for a family lunch and with high expectations which were well met! My granddaughter at nearly 8 appreciated being given her own menu and treated beautifully and with just a hint of fun we asked for a mixed up sort of order all of which was delivered and I can only say perfect. Can’t wait to go back great atmosphere and team topped of the fantastic food. We will be back before you know it!"

"Brasserie Joel is situated in a hotel and quite a few of the diners were residents. It thus felt somewhat impersonal. The menu was standard brasserie fare, with nothing exciting or original, but plenty of tried-and-trusted favourites to choose from. Our waitress was on her first day (which she did apologise for) but spoke virtually no English and didn’t have a clue about the menu, so we could only order by pointing at the menu. When she brought someone to help (a manager I think), he still failed to inform me that the main ingredient of a dish I asked about was cheese (describing it as a Gazpacho). Ultimately the food was well cooked and decently presented, with a tarte tatin being particularly delicious. Next to the restaurant there is a nice bar, which was perfect for a digestif. However, the price, at £90/head (including a £65 bottle of fairly ordinary Pouilly Fume) seemed very steep for a brasserie and there are similar restaurants in the area at a far lower price point."

"The restaurant was quite full at 7:30pm with large parties and noisy children. In fairness it was Valentine's Day. Whilst it is always nice to see families with children dining together the somewhat intimate ambience the brasserie seems to target does not seem best suited to young diners. Possibly the problem is that hotel does not offer a more suitable restaurant option for those with youngsters. The bar area serves food but is rather large and not exactly cosy. The food was OK. The onion soup was extremely tasty but the cheese in it was surprisingly over generous making it a struggle to eat. The wine list is as you would expect in a London hotel, was quite expensive but with some excellent options. I made the mistake of asking for a brief pause between starters and main which as it always inevitably does, turned into an unacceptably long delay."
