Luigi's Italian Ristorante

Place was nice, staff were friendly but this is NOT an Italian Restaurant. Menu was limited to 2 -3 starters, mains and desserts but NO antipasti , pasta, pizza etc i.e. no 'italian ' food). Staff member said under new management . Update your menu on website/change name of restaurant.

4pm Saturday afternoon booking (group of 5) and we were the only diners in the place which didn't bode well. However no complaints over the food and service. Staff were very accommodating with regard to special vegetarian and gluten free requests. Nice relatively new p!ace to eat in the Old Trafford area.

It is a pity that this restaurant is rather hidden. We only visited because we were going to the one day test match. The staff are really charming. We did not choose many items because we were eating late but our pasta coloured with cuttlefish ink was very creatively presented. We hope to return to sample a more extensive range of dishes from the menu at some point. View menu

we came to Luigi’s, who had only been taken over a few days before by new management and was no longer an Italian restaurant. we have given the opportunity to try out the kitchen and do this. the new management, where very accommodating cooking food we demanded was not on the menu and let us taste the wine before we ordered the bottle. we had cooked the most amazing steaks to perfection and will go back definiatley. eating fab, service attentive, but not too much and cook very courteous. if you think about a nice evening to eat I strongly recommended xx

not what I expected. Italian restaurant that had a very limited menu of steak, steak or steak. the white wee, which we ordered that they had run out, the apple wine ran out and to top everything we had to wait an hour or more until our appetizer is served. the personal had forgotten to enforce the order. mysteak and chips were good, but my friend ordered a well-made sirloin and it rarely came. some employees didn't know our booking when we arrived. not sure why. great location when taking part in old metford but the service, quality of food etc. was bad. I can't recommend it.

Very quiet for a Saturday evening, The atmosphere was totally flat, with depressing background music Two members of staff were efficient with serving the table, having said that, we were the only ones in there The prices are very very expensive for what you actually receive £5.25 for half bowl of soup with one little piece of bread! I chose this restaurant for the opposite near old metford and the reviews were good. I had contacted the restaurant and they told me that the parking was free for customers. even in the night of play. after parking my car I was approached rudely by a participant who insisted that I paid £10 to park, I was more than happy to pay, but explained that we believed that parking was free for customers. this opportunity was finally resolved with the restaurant reception, not the hotel reception. after sitting in the restaurant we were handed over the menu, the choice was docking, burger and chips, chili and chips, steak and chips, lachsei and chips. there were only 6 days before our visit a change o...

This was a curate 's egg of an evening and, judging by other reviews, a bit of a one off. I hope, for their sake, that it was. We were a late booking. When we arrived we seemed to be expected and were shown to a table, but then waited for a quarter of an hour for someone to bring us a menu or ask if we wanted a drink. I then followed the lead of others in the restaurant and went to get our own drinks form the receptionist. I have to say I'm really not impressed with my experience at this restaurant. We sat down at the table and was waiting 10 minutes and no one came and asked did we want a drink. In the end my partner ended up getting up himself to order our drinks and wait for them. We then waited a further 10 minutes for our order to be taken. We had been in the restaurant around 45 minutes and was just in to our starter meal. When our main food came my partners meal didn't come with the chips it said it did on the menu so we had to ask for them.
