"The restaurant was dirty, both the inside and the dishes used. The food was way too spicy (and I like spicy food). When we spoke to the waiter to tell him this he said we should have asked for less spicy (they should have given us this choice when ordering). A normal curry or dansak is normally spicy but not to this level (Phall level). The waiters were keen, but a bit too clean, when he was taking our dishes away he done this so quickly that some leftover food landed on my trousers. I would recommend that the restaurant is cleaned properly, dishes cleaned properly, ask people what level of spice they would like"

"It has been a while since we visited, because of the pandemic and isolation. Enjoyed a first class meal here again. The food was excellent. Nice regional dishes which were full of flavours. Staff helpful, and the owner friendly. He came over to our table and was chatting, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back, and soon"

"The food and the drinks were really good and it is a nice restaurant the only thing that it was ruined for us was a useless waiter who didn't ask if we wanted to start popadums that every other indian always ask, and in the middle of the meal of our starter meal the waiter suddenly came to the table and puts the main menu (for some reasons Eltham Yeti had unveiled the menu in such two. "Ordered on a Saturday evening, delivered in 30 minutes. Good sized portions, and two out of three dishes were excellent, but the third was terrible. Chani Puri (starter) and Beigan Masala were both delicious. However, Chilli Ponir was just awful. Huge chunks of white onion and an insipid, bland sauce accompanied paneer that somehow managed to be even blander. The whole dish tasted of almost nothing, and was far and away the worst chilli paneer I have ever tasted. Five stars for the good dishes, but minus two for the bad one."

"we had a great Indian here in jeet. the service was in front of location the venue is spacious. the menu is extensive with many options that it would not get in the rule with other Indians. for beginners got my wife haggis pakora and I went with this meat dish that I cannot remember the names, but it was nice. the haggis was nice, but I prefer it outside. the appetizers came with salat, who didn't look very appetizing, but we are no massive salat lovers anyway. I went with the recommendation of the chef who came a selection of 4 different curry (Tapas style) from rice and chapati. they were all delicious. the lamm and kicherbsenkur was my favorite. my wife went with the lambpasanda she loved! we also ordered garlic naan as a side. the naan was good, although I was probably more beautiful. in total we enjoyed our meal and the evening in jeet."

"we have reviewed this restaurant on tripadvisor and selected because it came as the top rated restaurant in brentwood. we have therefore expected to have something great on ta than other experience of the best rated restaurants. while eating and the restaurant was perfectly acceptable, it has not recalibrated our taste buds. the staff and the service were good, very friendly and friendly and it was a pleasant experience. a note when they plan a visit, they do not serve alcohol, but welcome their drink of choice."

"Placed a delivery order here, took 1.5hrs to turn when advised it would only be “30 40mins”. When the food arrived, the packaging was absolutely demolished, everything was turned upside down! Look at the photos, dishes all split out into the bag. The Dishes themselves, did not taste right. The photos of the Lamb Rogan Josh just shows the amount of Oil in the dish, it was appalling! The Lamb seemed strange from the offset, shredded and scraps type of meat! No surprise of the outcome My entire family including poor kids all experience intense food poisoning, ill for a good week! When flagged to the restaurant through constant calls and even turning up to the Restaurant, they were dismissive from the get go. The did not want to acknowledge or admit to any wrong doing. One of the staff told me that “It’s not their fault my body can’t take the amount of oil and poorly prepared food, my body needs fixing!” The cheek! I wouldn’t advise or recommend this place to anyone, not only because of the food, but the shear arrogance and atrocious customer service provided. I’d never eat here again, if the restaurant doesn’t want to listen let’s see what Food Standards Agency has to say about it!"

"I was out from London Zoo and looking for a place to dine nearby. I was kind of deceived by the google rating of 4.2. However, I think there is something going on with this restaurant that is either management issues or post COVID crisis. There was only one waitress who happens to do almost every thing. He was trying to catch up and multitask but with a lot of mistakes. Everything takes so long to happen. I have to wait a bit for him to pay my check. The price is extremely over the quality of the food and service. Some items in the menu are not available. Do not ask for ice, because they do not have it. Therefore, you have to accept almost room temperature Cola."

"We have frequented this restaurant regularly for pre-theatre meals and have always been pleased with the food. The extensive menu always allows us to plan for a leisurely dining experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The majority of our party opted for the Thali option, allowing us to sample three different dishes. The food was excellent, with everyone being satisfied with their choices. The portions were generous, and we felt that we received more food with the Thali dishes compared to a regular main course. As a result, I was able to enjoy a delicious lunch the next day thanks to the leftovers in my doggie bag. Yum!"

"We went there on Friday evening and it was so quiet that we couldn’t find the place at the beginning. When we got there we really liked the rooms and the decor. We found menu was very small with only few options to choose for a vegetarians. Finally when the food arrived it was very small portions and the food was very average. There was no wow factor either with the taste or presentation. Food taste was like prepared in any common household kitchen. Mango lassi was nice but for a £8 feels like very expensive drink again considering the portion size. We didn’t find the experience overall value for money."

"We wanted try Zayka as the reviews were so good. Best in Ealing etc etc. We were quite excited. However we were not wowed by the food or the restaurant. I would say this is very average Indian fayre with a hint of Nepalese and Goyan thrown in. Our menus were sticky from previous customers use which didnt bode too well. The Food was not particularly inspiring, restaurant table layout not the best for a comfortable evening out. Our waiter was clearly a newbie and really didnt know how to wait. Plates taken away before we had finished etc. Zayak is certainly not the best in Ealing and there are others that are better. We could see that a lot of customers were regulars and I guess very local and it seems that the restaurant relies heavily on this customer base. It all seemed abit tired and in need of some inspiration to attract a new breed and maybe generation of customer. Not bad but not brilliant."

"the service became somewhat slow as soon as the space is filled. the noise was acceptable, but not ideal. the restaurant is clean, but there is not much ambiente or space. I didn't try her very spicy curries for which they are famous. their idea of mild is still quite sharp for the European taste if they are not used to it, and they had no letise to wash it by pretending that they went out, although we came to dinner too early. but the rita, the lemon rice, the brote were excellent."

"Although the food was outstanding it is a bit over priced. The worst part of our experience was the lack of service. We were a party of two that was basically forgotten among the larger tables. We stopped three staff members to ask for more water. We never received it. After we finished our meal we sat there with all the mess and dirty plates. "If you like Sugar and salt this is the place for you. Tried a few dishes, all cream sauces taste the same and loaded with sugar. Pakora loaded with salt. Shame this place has declined, their curry sauce used to be the best years ago under the hotel, now everything is loaded with sugar and salt. Hope this place gets its self back to the good old days. Also they own the carry out at Hardgate cross besotted McHughs Estate agents, there are much better places like Rajani in Bearsden who deliver and don’t do re-heats even with the starters. They also don’t use colouring and their prawns are much larger. Hope the Bombay sort themselves out and get back to the good old days and cut back on colouring and additive’s and sugar salt. Fresh and no more reheats will get you back to the best in Clydebank. Please do it !!"
