"We had a large booking the meals were preordered. The staff were friendly and dispute the size of the group didn’t have to wait long. Location good.Starts of hot bread was delicious. Sadly the reviews from people were mixed, I had poached egg and asparagus that was good but think they skipped the hollandaise. Some colleague said they had under cooked eggs. The squid was left by a few people on our table. I had mushroom risotto and was bland. Steaks had mixed reviews. Best part for me was the bread and cheese board.I was going to say quality could have been due to reservation size but only half the restaurant was booked so guess it’s not that."

"So once a month, my bestie and I treat us one night out and crazy bear was our choice for september. my friend was there several times, but it was my first time and I wanted to know what it was about! I ran as late as ever and my friend was patiently waiting for minutes. at the arrival I was greeted by the super friendly hosts who showed me to our table. to say I have starved was an understatement, and of course, my first thoughts were to flick through the menu and the order! it is always nice to begin after a long day with a glass prosecco! it was all the way that I was up for hours. Yes, this Prosecco glass was very necessary. my friend chose to have the pornstar martini that she highly recommends and added that it was one of the best pornstars she had in london. I have to say that the drinks have come very fast, which is a miracle in london, as they often wait for their drinks for ever! for beginners I decided for the jasmin tee smoked tacky gloucestershire old spots ripping and they had gone in about minutes, simply because they were so delicious. followed by prawn tempura maki roll and salmon sashimi- they should now know that I absolutely love salmon sashimi. for my main thing, I chose the moving butdeen Angus-Rind sirloin, and I love a bit of bark, but perhaps I would have asked the bark to be medium-sized, as it was very chewing and I like my steak to be tenderer. However, the combinations of paprika, oyster mushrooms and oyster sauce are only mouthwater! overall for the price of eating, it was worth definitiw, and I could not be filled anymore. we didn't have much time, but there is a cocktail bar down that seemed to dizz and there was a very cool DJ game music. a few people danced and I wanted to shake a bit, but I had worked pretty early the next day, sad times. I would advise to have dinner and then follow them with drinks down below."

"Group of 6 of us recently went to Beaconsfield crazy bear for Sunday lunch . Our meal and service at the table was absolutely great but then we were asked to move to the tent to have our teas /coffee’s there . Once having our drink a waitress came and literally brought a bill and said are you going to pay your bill now? Which was very rude ! I have never been approached like this for paying my bill ! Then we had a query about the bill and the Waitrose was so rude again , She literally said to us twice “I am not sure which places you go and eat but at crazy bear we do this ….” and again she was very very rude to the whole group ! Really unnecessary ! I asked to speak to the manager and she said I am the only manager which she was lying ! Anyways this ruined our whole experience of a lovely meal ! Our query was over £9 and if it had been explained well to us we would have been happy to pay it but we ended up leaving with asking her to take the service off the bill for being rude and also a very bad experience . We were there to celebrate a Birthday and that ruined our day ! We had been to CB so many times in previous years and to other branches and I have to say as a group we were greatly disappointed !!! We all decided we will not be going back again !"

"first, charm (or sounds like) seems to be one of these little Thai joints with not too much to expect when it comes to interior, however, step in charm, and they will find it to their feeling and more. it is beautiful in the apartment made, and although it is not really Thai aspect to decor, it is quite modern. they have a full cash at the entrance and it is a pretty sight my friend and I decided to go to our main course immediately as it was quite late. we thank our stars that this place was still open and served lunch at 15 o'clock, we were the only ones in the restaurant. I ordered for the rendang curry in pork (not the usual bark) together with white rice, and my...read more"

"An amazing restaurant situated in Central MK. From stepping through the doors, Akasaka delivers with a beautiful bar and pink cherry blossom trees. The staff and service was fantastic exemplary from start to finish. We had the Karage Chicken, Spicy Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki to start. The Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki were brilliant, but the Karage chicken a little disappointing. It was the crispiest chicken I have ever eaten, but it wasn’t very flavoursome even with the dip. We followed this with Beef Bibimbap and Salmon Bibimbap. Both of these were brilliant the hot beef comes in a searing hot iron bowl and continues to sizzle the whole time you’re eating it! The flavour was fantastic and it was nice to be able to ‘self sauce’ to personal levels. We’ve had takeaway from here before, but will definitely come back to eat in also in the future!"

"My wife and I have been going to Thai Edge Leeds since we started seeing each other, we decided to go today for our 19th wedding anniversary. Extremely disappointed. No non alcoholic wine or larger, had to wait over half an hour for our starter after we ordered, told this was because they were busy, yet only 21 customers in {ie only a quarter full}, starter mixed tempera vegetables was half onion rings little variety, masamam curry was ok but not as good as previously, pad thai was basically a plate of noodles. Building is now shabby and in need of the tender loving care of a decorator, menu in worse condition than the building."

"We liked this place. The staff was super friendly and nice. One of the drinks we ordered with the pea flower gin was really outstanding. We had the rice cracker, shishito pepper, a cuke salad and squid starters. The crackers were great the salsa ordinary and did not detect shiso in the avocado. The cuke salad was good but would have liked more cukes to lettuce ratio. The squid was ok, not great, and skimpy but the yuzu mayo was really great. The peppers were ok. We had miso eggplant, pork belly and duck. The eggplant itself was good, not so crazy about the miso preparation. The pork was great and the duck was also very good. We weren’t crazy about the plum sauce; it needed something. These dishes would have been improved by some green onions and a bunch of cilantro. We had the cheesecake dessert with whiskey ice cream. Found the cheesecake bland but loved the ice cream . They very kindly brought the child with us a sweetly decorated scoop of mango sorbet which she loved. This restaurant is rated 4 1/2 stars. I would rate it 4.3 based on our visit but we might have ordered more adventurously with out a child in tow."

"had booked 2 nights, 1 in a deluxe room and 1 in a suite. the suite was huge! but incredibly dark, even in the middle of the day, could not see a **** thing! the very dark carpet asked me how clean the place...was because the bathroom was not very clean. the deluxe room was very small, the money was not worth at all, so if you want to stay here, just splash out for the suite, it is the only room worth it. the bathroom in the deluxe was very dirty and you could see the thick layers of the dust. first night had the 12 curs thai, it was very disappointing, expected for the pad thai that was quite good! second night the 7 curs English, much better and everything was very tasty and well cooked. the water on the table is a cheeky art, additional money from them to get £5 a bottle! although if they stay over water is free and no one told us the water on the dining table was not free. tee and coffee is also accepted to be free during their stay, although no one told us again, it is free only when they order it in their room. overall the rooms for such an expensive stay are too expensive and eating is not great. 99% of the employees were fantastic, very friendly and attentive. the actual building is amazing and so a labyrinth of lights and only a great atmosphere. I'd come back, but not for one."

"my friends and I visited the fox, menston on Sunday to celebrate a special birthday and I could not have been happier with all the experience. the team was very accommodating and allowed us to arrive early to decorate the table and put us before we were due, the drinks were nice and the eating was absolutely delicious. our appetizers came out immediately and looked nice, the main courses were good the money worth, I could not believe the amount of food we received and the dessert was perfect. we were served by the meal of laura, which was absolutely beautiful, she was friendly, patient and in the giggles that was brilliant, she made the experience that was much more special. many thanks to the whole team, but especially to laura, to make the day so unforgettable."

"We used to come here all the time and then what with covid we had a big gap. I went a few months ago with my wife and it was not as good, but rather than write it off we decided to go again, and so went for dinner last night. The food is so so : lots of delivery drivers wait around outside with mopeds shining their headlights through the window whilst they await takeaway orders from the counter next door. It 's much less pleasant than it used to be, but probably more profitable. The restaurant owner is a miserable guy: ultra low customer service skills, grumpy. The setting was a bit bright, too many lights, not at all intimate. The food was mostly okay but the tempura had a Nasty aftertaste like the oil was old or dirty. Time to raise your game guys. This used to be a fabulous neighbourhood Japanese restaurant. It 's just a takeaway these days that puts up with walk in diners. Not cool at all."

"Found Kimchee when looking for a place to have dinner. Had to wait for a table, while waiting had a gin, very tasty. Just missing some seats while we wait for table. Foodwise me and my boyfriend shared vegetable dumplings (very good! , a avocado salad (just ok and the main dish made of rice and beef which was good but could be improved with more flavour (we used the sauce from the dumplings . For dessert we had panacotta which was very enjoyable. Would go back for another meal!"

"I loved the vegetarian Laksa noodle soup and will go back for it. Quantity was huge, fairly priced... could not finish...each spoon was full of flavours the best I've had. But a bad experience some confusion with the vegetarian wonton soup order... realised it was prawn midway my daughter was eating it...she felt queasy when realised it was prawn and the staff just did nothing about it. When it appeared on the bill too staff member showed me the menu how no vegetarian option is there and I had to playback my discussion of checking with waiter that if the vegetarian option was there and after that confirmed the ordered. Eventually the manager removed it from the bill but yes it did made me feel sad as I was simply loving my laksa soup. The desert was over priced and not great. But yes, it was just a one off experience...the food is great and I will surely go back for the laksa soup."

"There is no need to order starters at this place as they do give some complimentary tasters to you as soon as you are seated. Directly order their mains. We went for their teppenyaki. It was by far the best teppenyaki that i have had so far. This restaurant is a bit expensive but you would not mind paying this much once a while."

"I had high hopes for this restaurant as it appeared elegant inside. However, it was not very busy, and now I understand why. While the food tasted good, the portions were small and overpriced. For instance, six small prawns were £11, much to my surprise. My companion and I spent £50 on food but still needed to eat elsewhere afterwards due to the lack of food. The manager was pleasant but seemed overwhelmed, and other staff members were not very attentive. Our server struggled with English and I had to wait for the manager to take my order, even though it was just reading items off the menu. Additionally, a teenage boy at the bar kept changing the music volume, making it difficult to talk. We were also required to pay a £5 service charge, which felt unfair given the poor service. I doubt the restaurant will survive long with this level of operation, which is a shame as a good Japanese restaurant would thrive in Hale. As shown in my photo, the sushi cost £10."

"Right off the bat, the customer service was brilliant!! I made an inquiry for a table for 10 people, had a swift response in the form of a phonecall saying my original time couldn't be catered for, the fantastic staff member on the end of the phone informed me why but very much didn't have to, so I changed my time and got booked in. We arrived and were seated immediately, a member of staff was ready and waiting to take out drinks order when we had decided, considering we were a party of 10 both the drinks and food arrived in a very timely manner. My buttermilk chicken burger was pretty hefty and so so flavoursome, there were many roasts which were also thoroughly enjoyed without complaint!! The fish, absolutely huge and very very crispy. We had a vegan friend dining with us who said her curry was delicious but could have been slightly bigger and there could have been more options. Other than that minor note we had a fantastic time visiting The Whitehart Pirbright and will definitely be visiting again."

"Very bad experience. Terrible food. Sukiyaki comes with cold temperature and egg is overcooked. It tastes below the average. I only finished 1/3 and the waiter asked me whether I was too uncomfortable to finish the meal, or I got some stomach problems. Excuse me? I have ordered Chu-toro but turn out to be Akami. And the waiter explained a lot with chicanery and it’s really annoying during dinner time with someone keep talking to me and say nonsense words. I have visited Onedera in Hawaii and LA and the one in London is not the same thing. I will never come back again. Good luck."

"The restaurant has a great and extensive menu that can be viewed on their website beforehand. Although the starters were not the best value for the price, we were more than satisfied with the mains. We ordered a variety of dishes including a Thai Papaya Salad and a traditional bowl of Pad Thai. The Sea Bass main was especially delicious and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed a bottle of Sancerre from their good wine list, which was reasonably priced at £20. Overall, it was one of the best Thai meals we've had in a long time, despite having tried many in Brighton Hove."

"If you wanna go to a restaurant and have the most wonderful experience in your life, you need to go to Chequers of Orwell. The food is above Michelin star quality, surprises me it has no Michelin star yet. The chef David makes magic. I have always enjoyed this place and I go whenever I can. I recommend everybody visiting at least once because writing down is not even near the tasty experience. Ah and did I mention the dessert? The chocolate fondant is something unimaginable... the best dessert I ever had by far. The staff are always prompt to help and are courteous too. The only complaint is the lack of Chequers worldwide! I wish I could eat there everyday of my life."

"We enjoyed every meal at this restaurant throughout our stay at Salford Hall. Ian was super friendly and most helpful with choices due to my food intolerance. The warm welcome from the girls at breakfast was much appreciated. The Eggs Benedict included the most perfect poached eggs and delicious hollandaise sauce, and together with 2 pots of tea, choice of toast with preserves and honey, it made a great start to our day. All the meals in the evening were so delicious. Fine dining but good portions and so flavorsome. The scallops were outstanding, the rack of lamb perfectly pink and you must try the crab starter. Creamy crab, and gin infused melon topped with trout caviar which burst with flavour on your tongue. The dining room which is steeped in history has a most relaxed and welcoming atmosphere so my thanks go to everyone that made our dining experiences so pleasurable. Excellent value for money."

"We visited today and glad we had booked! We received a very warm greeting at the door and were shown to a good sized table with large comfortable chairs. Even though the beamed ceilings are low it did not feel claustrophobic. The decor is tasteful, and everywhere was clean and neat. The tables are not too close to each other and positioned so that it didn’t feel like a canteen. We were greeted warmly by a lady who took our drinks order. These arrived swiftly. Our food order was taken promptly and we were impressed that she checked for any allergies first. We went for the roast with a trio of meats. There were chicken, pork and beef. Each of these were cooked to absolute perfection. Homemade Yorkshires was a welcome change compared to most pubs. Large, crisp and light. The crackling, potatoes, stuffing, and roasted veg were all delicious. They were cooked to perfection and so well seasoned that nothing needed salt or pepper adding. We ordered the trio of veg and potatoes to share, because they sounded so delicious (and they were) but we probably didn’t need to. The BEST Dauphinoise we’ve ever had! Bottomless gravy was another welcome change. Our very friendly, efficient and helpful waitress Aimee checked back on us swiftly and then regularly. Everything was just perfect with the main course, and despite feeling full we forced down the trio of desserts to share, and the too tempting Baileys Chocolate Martini! The ambience was perfect too. No loud music or chairs scraping, due to carpets. All of the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and our waitress Aimee is a credit to the business. (We were the party with the nippy dog sorry). The plate of treats for our dog was a lovely touch too. We have already booked for the very reasonably priced Christmas meal. If it’s this good on a busy day then we are very confident for our next visit. Highly recommended."
