"I recently had the pleasure of dining at SoPa Thai, and it was truly a delightful experience! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me to a world of Thai sophistication and allure. The culinary exploration began with Tom Kha, a delightful combination of coconut milk, galangal, and lemongrass. Each spoonful was a delicious harmony of creamy and zesty flavors that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. It wasn't just soup; it felt like a warm embrace in a bowl. Next, the beautifully presented Green Curry arrived. The curry was a work of art, filled with the richness of green chilies and fragrant basil leaves. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was incredibly tender, all bathed in a sauce that was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Then came the highlight of the evening, Pad Thai. The noodles were coated in a flavorful tamarind sauce, mixed with eggs, tofu, and a generous sprinkling of crushed peanuts. The dish was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left my taste buds amazed. The grand finale was the Mango and Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and sweet, a wonderful complement to the warm yet slightly salty sticky rice. Drizzled with coconut milk, this dessert was not just a treat but a festival of flavors. In summary, SoPa Thai is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary paradise. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise in balancing flavors and textures. If you're in search of an authentic Thai dining experience, SoPa Thai is the place to go. Their Tom Kha, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice take you on a journey through the heart of Thailand. I highly recommend it!"

"The venue is lovely, the music was great and the food was exceptional, however we had a few issues with the service. Firstly, our waiter disappeared after bringing us some of our food and never came back. When I queried it with another member of staff (after waving wildly several times at other staff), he laughed and said oh well you have a new one now . For the prices you pay in a premium venue, this is not good enough. I would have expected a handover before he left. I made him reduce the standard tip from 15% to less than that, as I was not impressed. Secondly, he failed to mention that if you order 4 or 5 things, they all come at the same time and don 't fit on the table, so they nearly knocked our wine off the table trying to squeeze everything in. I would have ordered in batches of 2-3 things if I had been alerted. Lastly, the chairs are also extremely uncomfortable, but when I asked for a small cushion, they didn 't have anything available."

"We had a fantastic time at Magnum. The food was amazing - we savored every dish. The ravioli was so delicious that I even licked the fork, the prawn tacos were divine, the fillet steak was cooked perfectly, and the monkfish was flawless. Our servers Vince, Jack, and especially Emily, were lovely and made our evening even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"Located on the periphery of the up and coming Stephenson Quarter based in the premises of the former Riverside Palace (Pink Palace) Chinese restaurant under the Metro bridge, this is a quite up market addition to the Newcastle veg friendly scene. I do love Thai food and my favourite dishes of deep fried sweetcorn cakes served with a sweet chilli sauce and a succulent green or red tofu curry are available here. Check their website to find a separate vegetarian menu which is predominantly almost exclusively vegan. There are at least 7 starters and 10 main courses all meat and dairy free. Just tell the staff you are vegan to ensure your freshly prepared meal is made without fish or oyster sauce. They do a 2 course lunch menu for £12.95 but rather bizarrely you'll actually save 50p if you order a starter and main course separately which is exactly what we did. I suggested they offer a cheaper vegetarian set meal option. Who knows? Get a window seat and enjoy views over the river and quayside. I'm sure we'll be back."

"it is great to quarter cities that it has brought the brilliant cathedralen district to belfast. It is bad that they tend to forget the amazing place already before their doorstep, which are not in such quarters. so it is with thai village restaurant on the dublin road I just forget. I've been here for six years! I loved it then and I don't know why it took me so long to return, I guess belfast has so many new restaurants today that I have forgotten some of the older ones already in life. the menu is extensive with a whole vegetarian section. we ordered appetizers of deep fried bean curd and herbal tempura with sweet chili and peanut dimmer sauce. main thing were vegetable green thai curry, jungle curry, mushroom salad and steamed rice. eating and the wine (pinot grigio) was fabulous as the service of the beautiful Thai waiting staff. Although we were full, we had to try a dessert and decide for Thai pancakes. we cleaned our tellers! I will return soon and I picked up the Takeaway menu that this restaurant is fantastic. updated by previous review on Saturday, 15th august 2015"

"epsom thai is delicious. an intimate restaurant with beautiful Thai food. the room is large, but not overwhelming yet crocheted, even with near capacity. the staff is friendly and the food has arrived in time. eating itself is really good and well prepared. there is a good ambiente over the place and no external noise can be heard. we come back to taste more dishes."

"the fish and the chips! was quite average! although the place gottes ambiente has, the service was a tad slow. but will give another shot, as this is the next seafood place where I set up.(also, forget, in Wetar-Dip with my fish and chip, as mentioned on the menu) the second (and then 3 and 4) were better than the first. the food tasted better and the service was fast. the personal was polite and the whole experience was over satisfactory."

"Nice decor and friendly staff. The chicken wings for starters were overcooked and tough, and the accompanying sauce too sweet. The veg spring rolls were fine. The wife's main course of vegetable green curry had a lovely variety of well-cooked vegetables, but the sauce was sweet and not spicy, despite asking for it to be spicy. The chicken stir fry dish was excruciatingly sweet, but plenty of fresh chicken and fresh vegetable ingredients, all well cooked. If they could reduce the sugar content of their food, I would come back!"

"terrible. randomly in this place for a fast pre-theater dinner. terrible. I wish we hadn't. the waitress was incredibly rude, the food medium was best. with so many good places to eat in london, this restaurant deserves to go out of business. made me sick to pay for this experience. it is the Thai equivalent of mcdonalds, except in mcdonalds the employees are generally polite and eating is cheap."

"stovells chobham surrey it is a hidden gem of this place with its South American influenced French theme menu. home made stovells gin is the series of the day my ex-college girl has made, now excellent chef fernando, and younger has come far. he will be on Saturday's kitchen this week with chef james martin, probably talking about the Mexican and Argentine punsch he put into his eating. the settings are more homely, but this is chobham for them a real quantendorf that is fucked somewhere in deep surrey. the entrance was greeted by a warm open fire from dried of wood and a cocktail or two. low ceilings, but the beams make them feel like they could go into a very lush pub! amuse bouche was a beautiful surprise, and the wood fired baked brot was delicious. smoked butter to go with it. grilled makrele, terrine, braided brisket, cadjau, petit pois asacienne and a whisper of chard all washed with a fine Spanish white, made it a very Mediterranean afternoon with a much taste and a beautiful environment too. the restaurant was full and the chairs were really comfortable, we enjoyed it immensely. my schokopude was perfectly plated and I loved the milcheis that came with him. the cheese selection was incredibly well thought-out and well presented with its own small card! 10/10 well made chef fernando, happy to see how great her restaurant does: and thank you for her generousness"

"I booked a couple of rooms for two nights and, to be honest, I didn't expect much for the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities at the Belmill. The rooms were spotless - my wife even did a thorough inspection and gave it 10/10 for cleanliness. The shower room was very modern with double shower heads and complimentary toiletries. The tea/coffee tray was well stocked with delicious biscuits. The towels were large, fluffy, and white. The bed had crisp white linens and was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast started a bit late, but it was worth the wait. The next morning, a lovely basket of fresh towels, toiletries, and biscuits was left outside our door with a welcoming note from Tricia, letting us know to ask for more towels if needed. I've been to many hotels, but the warm welcome we received at the Belmill made me eager to return."

"Disappointing, I expected authentic Thai food, but it didn’t happen. The starters were good. However the curry was flavourless. The potatoes were hard and couldn’t be eaten. However the waitress was very pleasant. I have had authentic Thai food and expected the same. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2"

"I’ve been to Nippon Kitchen many times. I find service is either amazing or poor never in between. The vegan bento box is great value for money and tastes great. Included in the bento box for about £11 miso soup, 3 sushi rolls, veg tempura, 2 dumplings, soy beans, curry and rice. Ordering meals separately, I find is expensive and not worth it. Overall love the restaurant and definitely would go back. Clear, separate vegan menus."

"After making an online reservation for a table, I arrived at the restaurant only to find it was closed. Given the numerous messages in their inbox, it was clear they had not been operating for quite some time. This restaurant should be removed from listings, as it is no longer in business."

"The restaurant offers an absolutely amazing atmosphere, exceptional food, and attentive servers. The pots of tea served with dinner were of first class quality. I highly recommend this restaurant. There is plenty of parking available at the rear of The Wotton Hatch, and the price per person is around £20-30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. Recommended dishes include the Fish and Chips, Lamb Chops, and Dirty Burger."

"We were staying in Dalston and were looking for a good place to enjoy a good Fish Chips Meal we stumbled upon this restaurant, which happened to be a short walk away from our place. Though the place did not boast of a very high rating, there was something about this family run restaurant that was welcoming. The decor was simple but comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered Tempura Shrimps, fried Cod with chips and Spinach and cheese gozleme, which was recommended by our host. Each item was delicious and the portions were hearty! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this eatery to other Tripadvisor members!"

"This is a lovely historic pub/restaurant tucked away in a little side alley. The bar area was quite busy for a Sunday evening and we were shown to a table in the dining room on first floor which has an outside terrace. We chose from set menu which was excellent. Service was friendly and professional. We could only manage two courses but enjoyed a coffee on the terrace to finish. I would have given 5 stars but the ladies toilets were a disgrace. Broken toilet seat, overflowing bins and not very clean. It's a real shame because everything else was perfect."
