"They use a second company named Poke Fusion on Apps like Deliveroo. This allows them to serve low quality food and treat customer poorly without it impacting the review rating of Kampai. This isn’t a 4.6 rated restaurant, the quality of the food is slightly better than a Tesco meal deal. Avoid this company at all costs."

"First time going on a date to a Japanese restaurant and it was amazing! The food I had were: Dumplings (first time having them and they were very nice). Fried squid (surprisingly chewy but tasty). Chicken Ramen : The soup was like chicken soup mixed with a hige amalgamation of herbs and spices. The noodles were very fine, tender and addicting to eat. The chicken itself was full of flavour and cooked very well. For someone who is not that much of a fan of big, steamed veg this dish made me want to eat all my onions and sweet peppers. I had a little sake, and it honestly tastes like if someone made Lambrini stronger and with a hint of wheat (which someone makes sense since it is a rice alcoholic beverage . On top of that : Beautiful paintings a beautiful restaurant with japanses ornaments very good staff beautiful Japanese style cutlery and plates... ... All add up to one MAGNIFICENT restaurant for either yourself, your date, or a little group to go to."

"an absolutely brilliant place and a great addition to the local area connects it Korean aromen with French style and finesse in excellent wise, with really friendly service. the 'deconstructed kimchi' is fantastic, an unusual twist on the usual layers of cauliflower and spicy sauce, instead driving the sauce over a steamed? a whole head of cauliflower much, much, tastier, as I can describe it. the mandu steamed dumplings are good, as the raw hard-fish salad no longer seems on the menu. the pork bauch porn has classic French style, with brilliant zingy/spicy Korean style sauce. the poussin was also good, but not as good as the gay. the sea bass was great, with crispy...read more"

"The Japanese restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes. We ordered a platter, katsu curry, seaweed as a starter, prawn tempura, and seafood gyozas. Everything was delicious and served promptly. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had a large selection of options, ensuring that everyone would find something they enjoyed. Overall, a fantastic dining experience."

"I've visited nippon a lot over the last six years, maybe more than any other Japanese eatery and it sasdsens me to have seen its decline. Staff are no longer warm and friendly, the vegs options are no longer fresh or filling and the portions have seemingly become smaller. Maybe the love has gone and someone behind the scenes has taken their hands of the wheel but I used to recommend Nippon Kitchen a lot. Sadly I never seem to feel the need these days. A seperate vegan menu IS great though and they can't be faulted for being one of the first Japanese eateries in Glasgow to embrace the potential vegan audience and maybe that reputation will carry them for a while but unless they shake up their standards I fear that Nippon Kitchen's sun will truly set some day ."

"My son and I decided to pop in to chopstix for some lunch as we had not tried it before. Very pleasant experience. The food was excellent, especially the salt and pepper chicken. The dining area was also spotless. The staff who served us, Callie and Erica, were very friendly and inviting. Very nice to see happy, cheerful staff who obviously enjoy their work. We will definitely be back."

"Came here for a fast cheap lunch, far exceeded my expectations. I had the Korean stir fry noodles (some vegan noodles and they were amazing, but I don't think that part was big enough for the £6.99 price tag. The food was customizable, you had many options for additional secondary dishes such as meatballs or chicken. Service was great, I had prepared my order in a few minutes. The restaurant was clean, toilets also and what surprised me most is the possibility to fill your water bottle for free. Also self service is available, very useful for people like me who do not know what to order. In any case recommend :"

"really delicious, healthy Japanese cuisine. the miso suppe is like a hug in a cup. great service and great variety on menu. with one of the dishes too much rice and not enough sauce/meat. and the only other room for improvement is I have always found it super cool in there, so take an additional cardiac. beautiful view of bruntsfield area where you can watch people. we always make ourselves happy and full. can't wait to come back."

"Great food however please be aware there is more than one food menu and they may not offer both to you. I ordered from the more limited menu but saw others people getting sushi which was not on my menu. When I enquired how they were ordering sushi I was then told about menu 2. I wanted to change my order but unfortunately it had already gone to the kitchen and couldn’t be changed. This was incredibly disappointing and ruined our dining experience as first time visitors. It seems if your not a regular you may end up missing out. Restaurant occupancy was about 30 but despite this it felt as if were being rushed out which also made us feel a bit unwelcome. I would probably give oita one more try and hopefully next time is better"

"Fantastic gastropub with simple well executed food and great value. Some of the best chips I have eaten in London. We attended the soft relaunch following refurbishment. The place looks very handsome with leather booths and dark wooden farmhouse style tables. Music was a little too loud for the dining room. I wonder if they don't have separate volume controls for the restaurant and the pub. My companion had Cajun fish and chips. The sweet potato chips were just amazing. Very crunchy, slightly caramelized flavor that contrasted beautifully with the zingy lime mayo served with them.. The mayo had been made with plenty of zest and citrus juice. The battered fish was lovely and light and didn't taste oily. There were some garnishes of pickles and re-fried beans. My main of pork ribs was enormous. I ended up taking half of the meat home. Ribs were very tender and falling off the bone, though for my taste there was too much of the sweet BBQ sauce. Again some of the best fries I have ever had. Thin, very crunchy and seasoned with cayenne and paprika. There was half a cob of corn that had been charred on the grill. It didn't have that distinctly chewy texture of corn cooked entirely on the grill. The corn had been parboiled, and then blackened a little over flames but it was very pleasant. There was also some undressed watercress and coleslaw that was crunchy and fresh but otherwise indifferent. Do be warned about ordering wine here. If you ask for a bottle of the house red, they don't bring the cheapest bottle (a £19.50 Tempranillo) but the Malbec which is halfway down the list at £23.50."

"The menu I viewed online only listed vegan/vegetarian options I didn’t read the other reviews), so we were surprised that the venue also cooked meat, with an open kitchen. The staff member, on hearing our order, which was completely vegan, tried to promote the beef burger. When we said we don’t eat beef, she tried to promote the chicken. We had to explicitly say we didn’t eat any meat, as we are vegan. The starter came at the same time as our mains, and our fries drinks never arrived. The hummus was particularly bland and the ‘bread’ it came with was a small serve of un-toasted pita bread. However, the chickN burger was tasty. In the end we cancelled our fries drinks, as we had finished the mains were keen to get home. The waitress was apologetic for the mistakes and to be fair, was run off her feet."

"On our second visit to this restaurant, we tried a variety of dishes. Our favorite was the seafood pancakes, which we rated 10/10. The rice topped with a boiled egg was also delicious, although we can't remember the name of the dish. The Bibimbap rice with chicken was another standout, earning an 8/10 rating. The gyoza were decent, but we preferred the tastier version we had elsewhere. The grilled tofu and bulgogi meat dishes were good, but the pork bulgogi only received a 6.5/10 rating. Unfortunately, the beef ribs, marinated in sugar and soy sauce, were not enjoyable and only earned a 3/10 rating. We probably won't order meat dishes here again due to their poor quality. Overall, we give this restaurant a 7.5/10 rating, with much better options available at Asadal Korean restaurant in the city."

"Itsu in Notting Hill Gate has consistently met expectations, both before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The restaurant maintains a comfortable temperature, staying cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The establishment is clean, well-decorated, and staffed with professional employees. The shelves are always neatly arranged, service is quick, and the decor is inviting. As for the food, the Mochi cheesecake is a standout dish, with a delicate blend of the cheesecake alongside the soft, chewy Mochi casing. It is not overly chewy, making it easy to cut with a fork if desired. The Beauty smoothie, while featuring a nice blend of fruits, could benefit from a bit more strawberry to enhance the flavor. Overall, the smoothie is satisfying and ideal for a hot day."

"a delicious and good eating with friendly staff. tapas is included in element-theme pages (with steaks if they don't like to share). our favorite dishes were the bark chili with maisbrot, the crispy mozzarella and the huhn satay. we were not so big fans of the beetroot and goat cheese sushi and found the chorizo and cheese croquetta delicious, but the taste overwhelmed the other foods. we had dishes that were too much (the employees had recommended everyone what would have been perfect, we were hungry/great after that we pumped next door for a beautiful cocktail in libertines. the restaurant is really recommended."

"The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and extensive experience in Japanese cuisine, but I was extremely disappointed by what I had expected from a high-caliber restaurant. The sushi and maki were noticeably small in size, and while the fish was fresh, the overall quality did not meet my expectations. The kelp used for wrapping the sushi was tough. The staff were professional and the restaurant's location was lovely, but it fell short of being considered a top-rated restaurant, especially considering the prices."

"This restaurant offers good quality sushi with rice served at the perfect temperature. The sushi rice is well-balanced, not too compact or too loose. The lack of timestamps on the conveyor belt ensures that the dishes are fresh. We ordered chicken teriyaki, a Californian hand roll, Lachs-Ceviche, and more from the menu. The Lachs-Ceviche was a standout with a slightly tangy sauce and thinly sliced like a tiradito. The portions were generous, especially the chicken teriyaki made with deboned thigh meat. The California hand roll had too much mayo for my liking, but the maki rolls were enjoyable. The miso vinaigrette that came with the meerrot thun was a highlight. The restaurant offers a nice selection of house wine at a reasonable price. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with beautiful seating options."

"Amazing food and excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions due to the high quality of ingredients, skilled cooking, and beautiful presentation. The dim sum and soft shell crab starter were fantastic, and the Peking duck, which must be pre-ordered, was fresh and expertly sliced at our table. The turbot, fillet steak, and prawn main courses were all outstanding. This restaurant is definitely deserving of a visit from a Michelin inspector. Aya Court stands out as the top oriental and Chinese restaurant within a 20-mile radius of Ascot."

"recently after the change of property my family went to dinner in the Korean restaurant and the workers, eating, presentation was super and atmosphere were full of traces! each individual dish had this authentic Korean taste that I know from experience (as I lived in uk over 20 years and Korea visited every couple of years! that I could only get them from korea alone, but this restaurant is all from Britain. I had a tofu stew/soup, with dolsot bibimbab and glazed. I finished every single dish completely without rest! will visit again in the future. Thank you."

"Went for an early lunch and it was delicious. The staff were super friendly and many of the tasty mains are available half price at lunch. There is music playing, so I wouldn't recommend it if you want a quiet meal, but it wasn't distractingly loud."
