"We use this place a lot and it never lets us down. It is very handy that, for nominal charge, they will deliver to BL1 postcodes. The food is authentic and freshly cooked. True, it is a little more expensive than most takeaways but still offers value for money. This is quality food without a doubt . The green curry is especially good but with yet to find a dish that we don’t like. Allow plenty of time for your order as it can get busy but they are accurate in telling you when it will arrive. Collection, of course, is always an option!"

"The Thai food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, the draft Singha is cold and refreshing, and the service provided by the hosts is top-notch. I would rate this place 5 stars, it truly is a hidden gem!"

"I rated this restaurant 3 stars due to the absence of the atmosphere and character it once had. The food was, as always, excellent, and we’ve been dining here for over 20 years. There were large paper signs at the back door by the parking lot instructing customers to use the front door unless they had a disability. As a result, most people entered through the front, and despite the fire inside, it was quite cold. The service was table-only, which made me miss the locals chatting at the bar; it felt like I was still in the COVID era. I won't be in a hurry to return."

"Oh my gosh I loved this place so much! we booked as the reviews for the Thai food were great, and we didn't realise it was a gay bar with a drag act. I'm so glad it was though! everyone was super friendly smiling and welcoming, the act was wonderful, so much energy and very funny, and the thai food was authentic and every bit as delicious as the reviews said. The bar made a mean margarita too. I'm already planning my next trip back. Thank you to all at Le Village for a wonderful evening ."

"I really like the setting and the concept, the food for me was not good enough for the price point. Price wise , this is comparable to London prices and Michelin star restaurants in Kent, but the food was not spectacular. It all very nice, but not exceptional. Again, love the concept of choosing a few dishes and the chef arranges them into a couple of courses. The deck for pre drinks is a nice vibe, although a few tweaks could be excellent. The service on the deck wasn’t great, had to go find staff on a few occasions. Tried to order at the bar, but told its table service onlybut then had to try to get attention of staff. The music needs to be a little more carefully curated to create one particular vibeit went from cool Ibiza chill, to retro dance, to 90s pop. All good, but one consistent atmosphere at a time, transitioning throughout the evening would be good. Also had the candied brisket and caramel popcorn as a bar snack. This was not well executed. Served in a paper bag, which suggest a portable snackbut too messy to eat that way, and def too Messy as a snack with your drinks. The beef brisket was in big lumps, that we pulled apart, to eat with the popcorn. The popcorn was not fresh. Good concept, but not well served. The beef needed to be properly shredded and much driersalty shredded beef (dry! with sweet fresh caramel popcornthat would be a very good snack. We had a lovely evening. It felt like we went out, rather than just to a local restaurant. But for the prices, I’d expect much better. "I want to start by saying the food here is good, but what has left a bad taste in my mouth is the slyness of the staff! I brought my family here for a meal and we were a bit tuned to say the least. The staff at this moment thought they could take advantage of this and added extra meal and drinks to our menu. If it weren't for my father who is on the ball we would of been mugged blind. Not cool Thai Paragon. I know who you are and what you are now."

"Having got back from three weeks in Thailand just one week before going here I can vouch for its authenticity! We had chicken satay, red curry, chilli and basil stir fry and of course papaya salad, spicy washed down with Chang beer and good value white wine. It was my birthday meal and they looked after us really well. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, and it was very busy so make sure you book. Food: 5"

"Recently ordered from here, gentlemen that answered the phone was really polite and professional. He made sure to get our order 100% right. Pickup was quick and it came in a box which helped keep it all together. That’s where it ends, the food was absolutely horrendous, no seasoning, chicken was raw in parts and swimming in water, wasn’t mixed and tasted horrible. We took one bite and had to throw it away was a massive shame as the reviews and service were great. It was also my partners birthday which meant we had to cook late which completely ruined our evening."
"Genuinley, one of my favourite places. Never a bad meal Decided to upgrade my review from a while ago.... Ive been to thai on aire for years now, and during the pandemic ate regularly using the takeaway service and started trying more of the menu. I have really enjoyed being a bit more adventurous. Last night we ate at the restaurent for the first time in what felt like forever. The service and atmosphere of the warm restaurant was perfect, even on a tuesday night. The food though "
"we were at my thai at numerous locations and were never disappointed. excellent food and service, staff very hospitable and friendly. last Friday we took my brother and sister in the law that visited us by leicestershire, my sister in the law said it was the best Thai salad she had ever eaten x"

"service restaurant we were the worst too. we arrived there 30 minutes before our booking. there was no point in booking because only one table was occupied. the staff told us to come back in 30 minutes, as the cook is very busy, we pointed out that we had a booking and it was only in table occupied. they then sat down and we waited 15 minutes before the rise and leave, as the personal ignored us and just talked to the tables. they were all obviously on a pause .. they did not even leave us and did not care. what is funny is any other restaurant in the center had a hurry to come. I doubt this place will survive"

"Always loved this place. Went to book my birthday dinner and was told, “you can come at 6 but you have to promise to be out by 745.” I had to beg to be booked in despite the fact their phone was down and I had to go down there and book in person. What kind of customer service is that?? When I asked to place a dessert order, she frowned like it was the biggest imposition of the night. Never going back. I have spent so much money there and never again."

"For the last 10 years my partner and I have gone to this pub on and off. It holds special memories as the place we first met and have always gone out of our way to visit, not just for the memories, but the food too. Today was our last visit. I don 't know if it has completely changed hands but oh my.... definitely a shadow of it 's former self (to be polite). Staff Massively understaffed while they were very pleasant, no one came to ask if the food was OK (even after complaining about my dish which takes a lot for me to do), had to wait almost 5 minutes to be served upon entry with only two others at the bar waiting. Then the same again to order food a few minutes later with the staff member struggling to pull a peroni (some issue with the lines somewhere not their fault but my issue here was the complaint to a regular customer in earshot of everyone else waiting about this). Shift change came after our food was served and my meal had no sauce (stir fry dish) so I returned it to the bar explaining this. I was given an apology and told my meal would be redone. Fine not an issue. Only it came out 1 minute later with a minute amount of sauce and was clearly the same dish (I 'd broken up my rice which was as it was when i returned the plate). After this no one came to ask if everything was OK not good service after a customer has an issue with a meal. Food plain and basic we each had the garlic and pepper stir fry not a hint of pepper to be found and it was rather herby not what a Thai should taste like and nothing like we 've had before (same dish, same place in the past). Portion sizes were more like a kids size or a small lunch size, and as mentioned barely any sauce on one, and none on mine at all (image below is AFTER they added sauce). It was very disappointing knowing what previous chef 's have delivered both in taste, size and presentation. We used to love this place for food would always recommend it and took people there who were visiting but not now, could have made better at home. Fryers were broken so all but two of the starters were off leaving only prawn crackers and dim sum. We had crackers and asked for them to come out with the main they came out first (not a major issue but a little annoying none the less). Had to leave half the rice because it was dry with no sauce to soften it and part of the rice was stuck together and hard like it had been sitting waiting to be served worrying considering we had our meals within 5 minutes of ordering not freshly cooked chicken then! I wonder how long it has been sitting waiting for someone to claim it? To say it was hot would be a step too far also! The only reason we ate it was because we had nowhere else to go in the time frame we had available otherwise we 'd have requested money back and gone elsewhere. Atmosphere challenging while it was calm and fairly quiet within the vicinity two tables ordered food while we were eating (think of the bar as a square with us in a corner), both corners next to us ordered soon after us. Each time their food was ready, we were disturbed (even though we were eating), because the bar staff had added our table number to all three orders (I overheard the young gentleman delivering the food mention this on the second occasion he disturbed us he apologised and not his fault at all). During this time another man (assume a chef) went around the bar offering a free doughnut for dessert to every table. While I appreciate the gesture, it looked unappealing and yet again, we were disturbed while eating. Finally, we went to leave and waiting 5 to 7 minutes to pay our tab while the single bar staff made drinks and delivered them via table service to the back bar. So in the hour we were there, we spent around 15 minutes at the bar waiting for service (granted there were apologies given but it wasn 't exactly busy the staff had no idea how to multitask or make conversation set up orders with those waiting it was very tunnel visioned), food was sent back and then not followed up on and it was average at best. Extremely disappointing when we know what the pub used to be like and in all honesty, we would go elsewhere moving forward between Chesham and Amersham there are many Thai restaurants and this place has quickly gone from the top to the bottom of the list. Couple that with a ever shrinking menu from how it was when we first started visiting (when the food was at it 's best), I can safely say we will not be returning. I do not complain lightly I worked MANY years in retail and hospitality, including pubs, bars restaurants (kitchen and FOH) and held supervisor roles too, I appreciate something can have an 'off day ' but this was something different many things were broken not working, basic service and food and no connection with the customers (even after something was sent back) other than to complain or apologise for the lack of service. Definitely won 't be recommending this place again and will go somewhere where both the food and the customer service is a whole lot better."

"Four of stayed at the nearby Wood Fen in the Sedge Lodge. On our last evening we decided to visit this pub for dinner , this is not walking distance from where we stayed so we had a nominated driver. We arrived and was shown to our table in the restaurant by Jamie , he worked so hard all evening serving at the bar and being waiter for the diners. He was very polite and didn't appear to get flustered at all, well done Jamie. Our food was freshly cooked ,the prawn sizzling dish with noodles and vegetables with sweet chilli sauce was excellent and I had a cheese board for dessert which was very good, not many places seem to do a cheese board now days. If we were in the area again would certainly return to the Plough."

"Wow, I just had an incredible dining experience! A friend who works at the restaurant treated me, and it was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the chili chips, chicken Penang curry, and jasmine rice, and everything was beyond my expectations. The chili chips were extraordinary—like nothing I've tasted before. The jasmine rice was fresh and cooked to perfection. The chicken Penang curry was stunning, featuring perfectly tender vegetables and expertly cooked chicken. The packaging was done thoughtfully to avoid any leaks, too. This place is truly amazing, and I can't wait to visit again and try more dishes. It's the perfect Thai restaurant with outstanding food, and the chef is truly a master of her craft. Thank you so much!"

"Sorry to say this was not a triumphant meal. Well over an hour for our mains to arrive, as takeaway after takeaway floated out of the kitchen. The beef in the red curry was extremely tough and the massaman, salty. Uncomfortable seating. No atmosphere. On the plus side, there was no trouble getting a table on a Saturday night. Friendly staff, but not impressive."

"It had such good reviews we thought we'd try it for our anniversary. I have cooked every meal in lockdown and friends encouraged me to have a night off and treat myself. Deluxe hor doeuves grisly bones of pork 2cm long breaded butterfly prawns over...cooked and dry. Spring rolls greasy and clammy. Satay chivken OK. Crispy duck not crispy. Cold and tasteless. An utter disappointment. And £32.40 I can't tell you what I could make for that. Appalling."

"Very poor no atmosphere prebooked table fo 4 but upon arrival the table wasn't set even though we were the only booking they had. Service was extremely poor every drink asked for not available giving excuse that it very quiet at the moment so no draft beers then only 3 bottles of Thai beers available. Felt as if the staff didn't want to be there the man complaining about staff shortage and having to do deliveries himself each time he came back into the restaurant he was complaining which made it even worse. Food expensive for what you got both red and green chicken Thai curry bulked out with cheap vegetables and poor quality. Would not recommend and will not be returning. This place is a takeaway not a restaurant and I personally would not even have a takeaway from there from what I saw the takeaways were sitting in bags for quite a while before being taken out for delivery so most likely be cold by the time you get it."

"Love the dark hot chocolate here, so rich. Ordering that every time we visit. Had lunches here before, mussels were amazing Ordered poached eggs with Haggis on muffin, and a full breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed them! Along with the dark hot chocolate, that was £24, not bad at all considering how much it costs to run a business these days. Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast available, and instead of meat topping options for omelette/poached eggs, there is spinach available. Parking: Free Street parking with disc, one hour free on Kempock Street, 3 hours on street at the back. If it's really busy there's also the paid public car park by the Clyde operated by the local council Kid-friendliness: High chair available Wheelchair accessibility: No step at door, accessible toilet available. Not sure if the restaurant above is the same though"
