"I recently had the pleasure of dining at SoPa Thai, and it was truly a delightful experience! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me to a world of Thai sophistication and allure. The culinary exploration began with Tom Kha, a delightful combination of coconut milk, galangal, and lemongrass. Each spoonful was a delicious harmony of creamy and zesty flavors that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. It wasn't just soup; it felt like a warm embrace in a bowl. Next, the beautifully presented Green Curry arrived. The curry was a work of art, filled with the richness of green chilies and fragrant basil leaves. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was incredibly tender, all bathed in a sauce that was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Then came the highlight of the evening, Pad Thai. The noodles were coated in a flavorful tamarind sauce, mixed with eggs, tofu, and a generous sprinkling of crushed peanuts. The dish was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left my taste buds amazed. The grand finale was the Mango and Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and sweet, a wonderful complement to the warm yet slightly salty sticky rice. Drizzled with coconut milk, this dessert was not just a treat but a festival of flavors. In summary, SoPa Thai is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary paradise. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise in balancing flavors and textures. If you're in search of an authentic Thai dining experience, SoPa Thai is the place to go. Their Tom Kha, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice take you on a journey through the heart of Thailand. I highly recommend it!"

"The restaurant offers excellent food with quick service in a beautiful and clean venue at a fair price. The dishes, including Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Salt Pepper Squid Tempura, Chicken Massaman Curry, and Coconut Rice, are all delicious. I was extremely satisfied and will definitely come back. The service, atmosphere, and recommended dishes all receive a perfect rating of 5. The average price per person for a dinner meal is between £30-40."

"The restaurant is in an excellent location with a beautiful sea view. The food was amazing, the best Thai cuisine we have had in a long time. My dad even said it was as good as the Thai food he had in Thailand. The Thai curry and rice cost approximately £16, which is great value compared to another seafront restaurant selling fish and chips for £18. They also have a kids menu available. The ambience is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and child and dog friendly. We will definitely be returning. Even the coffee and hot chocolate are worth stopping in for."

"Totally satisfied and highly recommending it. We arrived at 19:30 on a Friday night and was taken to the first floor as the ground floor is full. The atmosphere is great nice Thai style wooden chains, patterned placemats and painting on the wall, and most importantly relaxing music. I felt like I am in a nice Thai SPA room. The food is very nice and served with delicate dishes, bags and candle base. We had sticky rice and green curry with pork, which is spicy but definitely delicious yummy when mixed together. The starter combo including chicken satay, spring roll, prawn toast and stick fried prawn is hot and tasty, which are well suited on mixed vegetables that have been flavored with sweet sauce. We also had a Thai fried noodle with prawn which was so welcomed by kids. The iced milk tea is also great. Overall this is one of the best Thai cuisine we had in the UK and all the staff are very professional and kind. Highly recommend!"

"I managed to buy a super cheap deal on Groupon for Grab Thai for £3.50 I could get a meal worth £8.25. Without hesitation I click and brought the vouchers, without printing anything the voucher was available via groupon iPhone app. Wooohooo! Grab Thai, is open from the wee hours of 7:30 am to 7pm serving breakfast to dinners Mon-Fri. and from 12:30-8:30pm on a Saturday. When me and my friend arrived it was empty the furnishing is very modern with only two benches of tables to eat in. Most of the lunch was finished, but it was ok I was after the green chicken curry as I read good reviews from the internet. The voucher I had meant I could go large and includes a drink. For drinks I went for Thai tea, I’m not sure if you have gathered, but I’m a real tea person. I went for brown jasmine rice and the chicken green curry; it was a choice I didn’t regret. You choose a pot out of the shelf and they pour the sauce on top. The curry was warm well marinated, the coconut milk was creamy, hmmm the butternut squash melted in my mouth. They used free range chicken which wasn’t overcooked. There was plenty of meat and vegetables in the potion they gave me. The Thai tea had caramel sweet tones which I also loved. The curry is very authentic and the price point is affordable and really fills you up. I couldn’t finish the large pot it was a shame because I really wanted to order the sweet sticky rice pudding for dessert."

"I’ve been to this establishment twice now. I am new to the area and decided to search for a local Thai near me, I stumbled across The King Thai and I am glad with the decision I made. The service was very good, and the restaurant was immaculately clean. There is a good choice of local drinks on the menu as well as good food options not a huge amount on the menu however to my mind this is a good sign that everything is cooked fresh I must also add they do not cook with any MSG or preservatives. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wether you are looking for a quick lunch or an evening meal. Will definitely be a regular customer here now. "Lovely meal, nice service and we were the only people in there until the end of our meal. The food was full of flavour, very filling and just the right sizing. Safe to say it allowed me to welcome a food coma. There was a gentleman there serving on his own and he was very punctual with ordering, drink serving and food serving. What was nice is he gave us space but welcomed conversation if we started it. Like we told the gentleman... we all definitely be going back again!! Parking: Park in the wilkos car park behind the restaurant. Its a 2 min slow walk and 40 second brisk walk. "Excellent food. I'm always surprised that it is often quieter than it deserves but the centre of Falkirk isn't exactly on the beaten track for great cuisine. Most recently took a party of 11 to celebrate a silver wedding. Great time and good food. Definitely worth an evening out and while it's more expensive than a take away it isn't bad value. Parking: In the evening parking is usually available just down from the restaurant on the street. Otherwise Williamson street carpark is nearby and free after 17:30"

"The restaurant is conveniently located across from our Airbnb, so we decided to try it for takeout (although dining in is also an option). We ordered a variety of dishes to share, which were quickly served 15 minutes after we placed our order. Firstly, the Corn Fritters were deliciously crunchy, but unfortunately, they contained Coriander Leaves which I am allergic to (this was not listed on the menu). I would give them an 8/10. The Chicken Wings had a flavorful and crunchy batter with a tangy sauce, scoring a 7/10. The #26 Soba Pad Pong Kari noodles with shrimp and onions were unique and rated an 8/10. The Yellow Chicken Curry had a delicious sauce and white meat chicken with plenty of rice, earning an 8/10. The Chicken and Pork skewers were also tasty, with the chicken being tender and served with a fantastic peanut sauce. The pork skewer was a bit dry, possibly due to ordering after the lunch rush at 2pm. Overall, the restaurant offers a large menu with generous portions of delicious Thai food. I would recommend it for those looking for a satisfying meal."

"Only popped in by accident as our intended meet up was full but what a great find. Just had a selection of starters, mixed platter, garlic noodles etc but everything we had was delicious, really great quality Thai food, Will definitely come back for dinner. The service, from Ida, was excellent, really helpful and friendly Bring cash to leave a tip, embarrassingly we had no cash and they don't add to bill, we'll catch you next time Ida!"

"Found this place by chance, when the Indian we booked into online had actually closed down…so we followed the relocation directions to Tanon…and so glad we did! The food was amazing! I had sweet corn fritters to start followed by tofu green curry, my husband had prawn toast followed by chicken catsu curry, with a side of Thai prawn crackers…couldn’t fault the food…it was outstanding, along with a nice relaxed atmosphere, fantastic friendly and fast service…we wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend…so glad the Indian was closed, what a find!!!"

"I found this restaurant stressful but there are some good points. Don’t go if you don’t want to share if you have a fussy dining partner (or somebody with a genuine food requirement) or if you want to dine alone it fails. Cocktails were GREAT. Betal leaves absolutely delicious. Som tam fritter very tasty and worth ordering but VERY salty. Pork mince inedible due to over salting. Jerusalem artichokes nice. Broccoli nice. Chive cakes ok but boring. I don’t understand why the rice was brought out way before the dishes that needed the rice so we were dealing with cold rice for most of the meal although they very kindly brought more. And our wine order went wrong twice again very graciously rectified. Great vibe and packed out on a Tuesday night so perhaps other people had a better experience."
"What an awesome, awesome find; my wife booked this sight unseen as we were going on to a concert later in the evening. She looked at the venue, then searched for eateries around there and this gem was uncovered. We arrived and the cafe was fully of Uni Students, which is normally a great sign as students always search out good, great value food. The atmosphere was busy. This cafe is unlicensed, so you can bring your own alcoholic drinks (BYOB if you wish, we didn’t know this at the time, so we ordered Jasmin tea, which was delicious. I’m Vegan, but my wife isn’t, nothing was too much trouble. I have a starter of deep fried Tofu, which was delicious; the best Tofu dish I have ever had. My wife didn’t have a starter, but for main meals we ordered Pad See Aew (53 with seafood and I ordered Khan Pad Kee Mao (63 . These were both absolutely delicious. I (greedily asked for a second portion of the spicy rice (yes, it was THAT good! All this; drinks, one starter and three main courses for just over £23? I will definitely be back, this little cafe is an hours drive from where I live I would drive back there again in a heartbeat."

"Delicious, heavily accommodating, they are more than happy to change any part of the dishes for you. The service was exceptionally friendly! The food was top tier, very very tasty. And to top it all off the prices are fair, they definitely have an advantage on that as it’s actually cheap for London, without sacrificing portion sizes which were also generous. We will be returning here."
"Food was good but not spicy and it came 5 minutes after ordering. First bill was about 51 pounds. When asked, it was immediately recalculated on the calculator within seconds and it came out to 41.65 pounds. A “service fee” was not previously apparent. She didn't want to give out the old invoice and with the new one she would first have to think about the date. You can do it with tourists. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3"

"We came here last year for our annual Christmas family meal. It was so good, we came again this year. Staff were so lovely, very helpful and happy to explain the menu. Food was superb, you could really tell the high quality of ingredients, the beef was Herefordshire! Kids adored the mock-tails. I really hope more people support this independent restaurant, it’s one of our favourite restaurants. Thank you for a lovely evening Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We booked a table on the app but they couldn't find it. Food was ok. Gen pad curry no 27 was very salty. The rest was ok. They brought dish by dish , then we had to ask for cutlery. Seem quite disorganised. Also seem to prioritise take away. People order food from take way but prices incorrect the staff said prices gone up. Which fair enough but change the menu then. There was a lot locals related to the restaurant the night we went. Overall just ok. Staff needs better training and better organization. Food all needs to be serviced together and less salty. Average Thai but disorganised. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Satay Chicken"

"Travelling back from a weekend in Southport, thought we would stop off for a coffee Lovely setting at side of reservoir Place looked closed as it was so dark, my friends husband went to see if it was open, yes it was, we sat inside, there are tables outside There was one person serving, didn’t appear to interested as was on her phone all the time we were there except when taking orders at counter Friends hubby went to counter to order coffees, no cakes available, he wanted a toasted fruit tea cake, told there were none, so ordered spring rolls, The server brought drinks to table, not wearing a mask, then came back to table 10 mins later again no face mask) to say delay on spring rolls, half hour later we had finished our drinks, spring rolls ended up as take away, my car smelled of grease There was only the 3 of us in the place until a group of walkers came in, sat at table at side of us dragging extra chairs from other tables, no social distancing rules followed, server did not ask them to move to a table further in, my friend and her hubby had to literally squeeze past them when we came to leave This place to me was un inviting, unfriendly and lacked the following of COVID guidelines I personally will Not visit here again"

"I typically enjoy dining at this restaurant, but I was very disappointed when I visited last week for one of their banquet meals. The menu was limited compared to their usual offerings and the portion sizes were small. We asked for an extra starter after we finished our meal, and they reluctantly obliged. The duck and pancakes we ordered were tiny, and when we asked for another serving, they seemed unhappy but brought us a small but delicious portion. We ordered three main dishes, as well as a half portion of noodles and some rice. They told us we had ordered a lot of food and would have to pay full menu prices if we didn't finish everything, which was not something we had encountered before at Parasol restaurant. The customer experience at Chiba Thai was disappointing this time around, unlike the welcoming and generous service we had come to expect."
