Sweet and creamy iced Thai tea with a hint of vanilla and warm spices.

"This was our first visit and we will be back. There are so many dishes we want to try. The food is fantastic, full of flavour, beautifully presented. The Tempura Prawns were beautiful, cooked perfectly with a crunchy batter coating. Thai Green Curry was very traditional with a nice balance of spice and flavour. Stir Fry was flavoursome and a good mix of chicken and vegetables. It was a very busy night with lots of delivery drivers collecting orders this is good as it shows how popular the restaurant is, but service in the restaurant was affected. It didn’t spoil our evening though."

"We were delighted to know that a Thai restaurant would be opening in Tonbridge and we have never been disappointed in all the times we've been there for dinner. The food is delicious, full of flavour the portions generous. Both food drinks are served with a smile the atmosphere is always very vibrant. You have to book in advance though because it's very popular but it's well worth the visit."

"We frequently visit Lyme Regis but for some reason have never tried Largigi until this summer. The Thai food is amazing and would say the best we’ve ever tasted! The staff are incredibly friendly and create a lovely atmosphere. I do prefer sitting down for lunch/dinner inside as the outdoor tables are a little small so best to book. It is, however, lovely to sit outside for a drink and a slice of their tasty cakes whilst admiring the stunning view of Lyme Bay!!! We will be back very soon!"

"Totally satisfied and highly recommending it. We arrived at 19:30 on a Friday night and was taken to the first floor as the ground floor is full. The atmosphere is great nice Thai style wooden chains, patterned placemats and painting on the wall, and most importantly relaxing music. I felt like I am in a nice Thai SPA room. The food is very nice and served with delicate dishes, bags and candle base. We had sticky rice and green curry with pork, which is spicy but definitely delicious yummy when mixed together. The starter combo including chicken satay, spring roll, prawn toast and stick fried prawn is hot and tasty, which are well suited on mixed vegetables that have been flavored with sweet sauce. We also had a Thai fried noodle with prawn which was so welcomed by kids. The iced milk tea is also great. Overall this is one of the best Thai cuisine we had in the UK and all the staff are very professional and kind. Highly recommend!"

"I managed to buy a super cheap deal on Groupon for Grab Thai for £3.50 I could get a meal worth £8.25. Without hesitation I click and brought the vouchers, without printing anything the voucher was available via groupon iPhone app. Wooohooo! Grab Thai, is open from the wee hours of 7:30 am to 7pm serving breakfast to dinners Mon-Fri. and from 12:30-8:30pm on a Saturday. When me and my friend arrived it was empty the furnishing is very modern with only two benches of tables to eat in. Most of the lunch was finished, but it was ok I was after the green chicken curry as I read good reviews from the internet. The voucher I had meant I could go large and includes a drink. For drinks I went for Thai tea, I’m not sure if you have gathered, but I’m a real tea person. I went for brown jasmine rice and the chicken green curry; it was a choice I didn’t regret. You choose a pot out of the shelf and they pour the sauce on top. The curry was warm well marinated, the coconut milk was creamy, hmmm the butternut squash melted in my mouth. They used free range chicken which wasn’t overcooked. There was plenty of meat and vegetables in the potion they gave me. The Thai tea had caramel sweet tones which I also loved. The curry is very authentic and the price point is affordable and really fills you up. I couldn’t finish the large pot it was a shame because I really wanted to order the sweet sticky rice pudding for dessert."

"I’ve been to this establishment twice now. I am new to the area and decided to search for a local Thai near me, I stumbled across The King Thai and I am glad with the decision I made. The service was very good, and the restaurant was immaculately clean. There is a good choice of local drinks on the menu as well as good food options not a huge amount on the menu however to my mind this is a good sign that everything is cooked fresh I must also add they do not cook with any MSG or preservatives. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wether you are looking for a quick lunch or an evening meal. Will definitely be a regular customer here now. "Lovely meal, nice service and we were the only people in there until the end of our meal. The food was full of flavour, very filling and just the right sizing. Safe to say it allowed me to welcome a food coma. There was a gentleman there serving on his own and he was very punctual with ordering, drink serving and food serving. What was nice is he gave us space but welcomed conversation if we started it. Like we told the gentleman... we all definitely be going back again!! Parking: Park in the wilkos car park behind the restaurant. Its a 2 min slow walk and 40 second brisk walk. "I had a delightful meal here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor. I started with the chicken satay, which was not only tasty but also beautifully presented. For my main course, I enjoyed the panang curry with sticky rice, which was just as flavorful with a wonderful spice to it. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, addressing our group's dietary preferences and restrictions. Overall, it was a great dining experience!"

"We visited this restaurant for a family dinner with my little toddler and dog. The service was excellent and extra care given with me being heavily pregnant. The menu had soo much variety especially for vegetarians, the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely the best thai restaurant!"

"Best restaurant ever! Me and my partner visited here whilst on holiday in York as it was near our hotel. The staff were excellent from the minute we walked in friendly and attentive. We went for the early bird menu. We shared the vegetable spring rolls and sweetcorn cakes which were very tasty. For mains we had the veg and tofu railway fried rice and the Thai red chicken curry. We both said it’s the best Thai food we’ve ever had! We had ice cream for dessert, they had some interesting flavours including yuzu and Thai tea which were both lovely! If you’re in York you need to go here! We will be back!"

"Been coming here for years always amazing food and good take away, but today I was extremely disappointed in the service I got in tanon. I ordered one of my favourites the bento box, waited much longer than anyone else at my table only for it to come luke warm almost cold send it back and they bring it back obviously just been put in the microwave and half my chicken teriyaki gone even tho I had eaten any all I have ate was one of the dumplings. Again send it back saying half my chicken has Gone and you have obvs just heated this up in the microwave. Third time lucky it comes back and was okay didn’t give me another dumpling out of the 2 and I was disappointed with the quality of the meal which again obviously wasn’t made again fresh. The waitress was amazing and did everything she could do. The chefs on the other hand get a grip, it’s not the same as it used to be and will be avoiding for a good while now. Very disappointed"

"Definitely I don’t recommend this place. Many negative points: very loud, the space is limited, tables not easy to get the access that makes you rethink if you really need to go to the loo. The food is tasteless, I had one of the most tasteless chickens in my entire life. The staff is gentle but they discuss between them in front of the clientele. You can’t do that. I definitely don’t recommend and no intentions to go back."
"This café is a fantastic option for those in a rush. The food was served promptly, within 10 minutes of ordering. Being recently returned from Thailand, I was craving authentic Thai cuisine. While the food was decent, it didn't quite live up to the flavors I experienced in Thailand. The Thai green curry was enjoyable, although I was surprised to find cucumber in the dish. Despite this, it was still delicious. The rice was a bit lackluster, as jasmine rice was not available and the boiled rice was dry. The spring rolls were tasty. The Thai tea was very sweet, which was a new experience for me. The café lacks ambiance and could use some color, but it's a convenient spot for a quick meal, especially for solo diners. It's conveniently located near the University of Leeds. I would dine here again, especially during happy hour when you can get a meal and rice for £5."

"Mudmee 's customer service is in the MUD. Things started out fine, our waiter was a lovely young man. When our mains came, my wife found a hair in her rice. We told the waiter who told his boss about this. She began to speak in Taiwanese or some other language with another colleague all the way looking and picking through the food to find the hair that we had found she removed it and said there was no hair. After denying that there was a hair in our food, and even saying that we mistook the hair for a chilli flake , I told her that we wouldn 't bring this up if there was no issue. She again denied that there was a hair in our food and walked away. No resolution, no apology for inconvenience, nothing. Very disappointing. We paid for the food and swiftly left. Oh, and the toilets are disgusting, I dread to think about the state of the kitchen."
"we were three middle-aged pestarian youngs in chippenham to sort family matters for one of us. we arrived earlier in the evening after a long trip from london and wanted to have dinner in the evening. as we know this is a pretty larey city. on Friday and Saturday nights we were looking for a quieter place with good reviews. this was an option, and when we arrived in the neighboring pub, we saw that it was very quiet there, with taking out a group of people who dance in the bar (not entirely our scene) then we saw signs for the restaurant itself to the right. we have pinched through the windows to see at least four diners in a big snow of a place, so we went into the door and were greeted by a dame that showed us on a table and presented us with menus. we chose a lot of appetizers, tofu main dishes and a white wine to begin with as well as a crippled water. the wee came in time and it was good. it went down very quickly! the food followed in good time, also delivered by a very jolly dame that it turned out was filling for the owner who had medical problems that she had away from home and waiter. we had a nice conversation and they brought the owner later to chat. we were already before Thai, but on the west side (trang etc. not the tourist site that was badly affected by the tsunami a few years later. we have appreciated the local foods there. the food was very delicious, generous and spicy, all delicious. we had ordered too much, but I was determined to leave clean teller to ate so much! we were happy as they had cooked the tofu. a second bottle, this time a house rosen was ordered to accompany the food and so better than the first one we thought. the other two couples ended their meals and left so that we were alone and had more time to chat with the staff, even with a picture of us! the first waitress came from the philippines where we did not give. we ordered the bill, where as a separate eating and drinks handwritten bill came. the bill pictures do not show what we actually ordered, but the sum was paid by the card and we left a cash tip. overall a pleasant experience that we might repeat if in the city again as away from the noisier part of the city. it should be more custom on a Friday night. that's worth it!"

"Edit: The manager has been in touch to refund our deposit. He kindly apologised for the error and for the fact they were short staffed due to sickness. I would happily eat here again. Food was excellent and we had several different servers who were all very pleasant, however service was very slow. When ordering extra drinks they took a long time to come. When requesting to see the dessert menu they eventually brought 3 menus over for our party of 8. When we asked to order dessert we were told they would have to check with the kitchen since they were very busy. The restaurant was about as busy as you would expect for a Saturday evening but seems they didn’t have enough staff. Deposit was £10 per head so we were already at £80 on arrival and you do not get that taken off the bill."

"Travelling back from a weekend in Southport, thought we would stop off for a coffee Lovely setting at side of reservoir Place looked closed as it was so dark, my friends husband went to see if it was open, yes it was, we sat inside, there are tables outside There was one person serving, didn’t appear to interested as was on her phone all the time we were there except when taking orders at counter Friends hubby went to counter to order coffees, no cakes available, he wanted a toasted fruit tea cake, told there were none, so ordered spring rolls, The server brought drinks to table, not wearing a mask, then came back to table 10 mins later again no face mask) to say delay on spring rolls, half hour later we had finished our drinks, spring rolls ended up as take away, my car smelled of grease There was only the 3 of us in the place until a group of walkers came in, sat at table at side of us dragging extra chairs from other tables, no social distancing rules followed, server did not ask them to move to a table further in, my friend and her hubby had to literally squeeze past them when we came to leave This place to me was un inviting, unfriendly and lacked the following of COVID guidelines I personally will Not visit here again"

"Just had Stir-Fry Pad Prig Gang (spicy) that wasn't spicy at all and had to ask for chilli oil. Ordered with small Jasmin Rice that came toghether near to £16 for most expensive seafood option £9.20 Not worth it at all, my meal was mainly onions, carots and peppers no curry or courgette and bamboo shoots. 3 prawns and bits of 3 squid a bit like a joke to my last meal in Thai place. Response from the owner 57 minutes ago Respons: Hi Mario, I have just checked your order and what you had was a seafood pad nam man hoi, (which is vegetables and seafood cooked in oyster sauce it’s not a spicy dish, unless you request it to be) not a pad prig gang which is a dry red curry that is spicy. So even got served different than ordered. I was after No.37 How much worse can it get?"

"The one star review is not for the food, the food at this restaurant is very nice but it’s absolutely impossible to get a take away from there. Every single time I call, even before they are officially open to try and book a take away they are never available to do takeaways. I don’t know what’s wrong with this place why do they advertise it take away yet they never will do it. I have to drive 35 minutes to come to this restaurant because it’s the only place That we know of that does a proper Thai yellow curry. It’s very frustrating to come all the way over here so I am in the location to pick it up when it’s hot and we are told every time by the owner that they’re not doing take away again tonight. The food is nice but I don’t think I’ll ever bother with this place again it’s just too much hassle. They need to seriously consider if they want to keep a good name going and do more for the customers who want their food. I just called again today and the same old story. Doesn’t matter what day or the week it is. They are never available for takeaway. it’s the last time I’m never gonna try. Just take “takeaway” off the website and stop lying about it!"
