"I had tried this place a couple of years ago and since then this one has become my favourite for a Thai outing. There are a wide range of interesting and innovative options available on the menu. Even though the food is a little pricey and the quantity is also less as compared to other Thai places, but once you get to taste the food, you realise that it is all worth it. The staff is quite warm and friendly. This is quite a busy place, thus a reservation beforehand is necessary. I would recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried it yet."

"Please refrain from eating at this racist establishment. I 'm still in shock at my experience eating at Maria 's Cafe this week. As soon as I walked through the door I was seated, and was told to immediately move to another table right by the door, to which I replied: I 'm fine where I am seated. Shortly afterwards I was told again, but more aggressively, to move, which I regrettably obliged. As soon as I sat down, the waitress told me to order, which I had no time to look at the menu and was scowled at for wanting to order starters first and have my main afterwards. The food was meh , nothing outstanding, and somewhat tarnished by the racism and discrimination I faced, the racism was subtle but noticeable. I left before having my main and stupidly paid the service charge they inflicted on the bill, not to cause unwanted drama. Guys, let 's not support businesses that don 't deserve our money, which we work **** so hard for. There are better Thai places in London, and it 's time to take a hard stance against establishments that don 't appreciate us as customers."

"Called in last night for a meal . All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and all seem to be very cheerful . Myself and my wife opted for a chicken satay and spring rolls starters . You get 4 of each and we’re very nice . For main I had the chicken Penang and my wife had the chicken in chilli oil . Both good portions and taste absolute beautiful . Both dishes were so flavoursome . Our sides were egg rice noodles and egg rice ., again good size portions . All washed down with 2 pints of singha and coke for my wife . Total cost was £72 which I thought was good value considering the excellent standard of the food. The restaurant is nice and the staff are brilliant . This is some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time and when we are in the city again , we will definitely be back !!"

"I wasn't going to write a review but I saw this had 4.5 which is a lie in my opinion. From the moment I entered the restaurant it was dead even tho there was people inside. I was sat with my friend literally felt like the same table as the other white couple and was really uncomfortable. I could hear a pin drop in the restaurant. No atmosphere at all. Table service was abysmal I had to get my waitresses attention I wasn't sure if she was going to take our order I felt abandoned. Food was INEDIBLE my prawns still had there heads on so the brains was squrting everywhere. My tomyum soup was separated I could barely breath there was so much chilli but I was so hungry I had to eat something. My tempura prawns were like corn dog prawns with the head left on!! I took a bite into prawns brains. I was almost sick. And lastly they had nothing I wanted on there menu but didn't tell.me this I was very disappointed and embarrassed as I had to choose things I didn't want cos I qas hungry and in the end my Noodles were sticking together smothered in oil tasted bland and rancid. I took them back as I couldn't eat it. Was disgusting my friends food looked like toilet water. I will not be going back and people deserve to know how bad this restaurant is. Please don't waste your money I had so many high expectations but was let down hard. Waste of money and way over priced. If u have no taste buds or standards will enjoy this place"

"Spicy, fresh, authentic Thai food is Bo Tree Kitchen's specialism. It's a BYOB restaurant 2 per corkage), which is always attractive, plus has a bright, busy atmosphere. Even during our 5.45pm Tuesday evening visit, which we expected to be quiet, Bo Tree was full of customers. However, I felt sorry for the solitary waitress trying to dispense menus, take orders, serve drinks and food, plus answer the telephone all by herself! More waiting staff are needed. A charming, relaxed little restaurant with an impressive, extensive vegetarian menu. Dishes are served as they are made, so don't all come to the table at once. We had a lovely meal, selecting a range of plates to share including: Pak Chup (Vegetable Tempura Sweet Chilli Sauce) Popia Thod (Vegetable Spring Rolls, which were supposed to be served with sweet and sour plum sauce but instead just came with another Sweet Chilli Sauce which was a bit disappointing) Sticky Thai Rice Gaeng Kaeng Kheaw Wan (Vegetable Green Thai Curry) Pad Phet Pak (Vegetable Red Thai Curry) Lovely flavours, heat and ingredients, with the only disappointment being a lack of plum sauce for the Spring Rolls and no aubergines in the curries. We ordered the curries as the menu specified they included baby aubergines but there were no aubergines evident when we we tucked into the dishes. Ultimately a reasonably priced, pleasant, casual dining experience. Just don't expect perfection, instead take this restaurant as it comes, flaws included, and enjoy the food."

"**Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** £60–70 **Food Rating:** 1/5 **Service Rating:** 1/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 1/5 I recently dined here for dinner, and I must say, it was quite disappointing. At a price point of £60–70 per person, I expected much better quality across the board. The food was far from satisfactory, receiving just one star. The service matched this low standard, as the staff seemed inattentive and unhelpful. Lastly, the atmosphere did not contribute positively to the experience either—it felt uninviting and lackluster. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"Friendly people in a small restaurant that does a lot of take-out. This is definitely not the best Thai restaurant around, but it does some things simply and well, more like mum's home cooking than a serious attempt at Thai cuisine. The chicken coconut soup was a perfect example, with the right balance of sweet and sour but lacking the complexity from the perfect balancing of kaffir lime leaves, citrus, galangal and lemongrass. The dumplings were a little on the small side, but again, tsty in a simple way. The squid rings were the largest and most tender I have ever had, but were let down a little by the tired oil used for frying them. Steamed fish was our main course, and it came with a small quantity of a lovely cilantro based hot sauce, perfectly cooked and with absolutely no frills. The wine was reasonably priced, although served a little warmer than people from the USA might expect. Overall, tasty, filling and with cost to quality ratio that was spot on. It will not win any awards, but neither will it disappoint."

"Thai Sun is UNREAL. Id say that out of all the takeaways I’ve ever had it’s the most consistent by a mile and we’ve ordered from here pretty much every week for the last 2 years, It’s THAT good. I’ve never even remotely had an order messed up or lacking in anyway and that’s rare for any establishment to follow through with such consistency. We have eaten in the restaurant and absolutely loved it food really fresh, attentive service without overbearing and all super friendly. Admittedly thought I do tend to grab takeaway more often, only because I work in hospitality so like to eat at home. A really really nice touch is that once you’ve placed your order online, they give you a call back to confirm it and give you accurate waiting times so you’re not sat around guessing, not seen many other places doing that at all! and the delivery drivers are all super nice too! Again, rare As I say, working in hospitality it’s easy to see where there’s system errors or service issues, but honestly I have nothing negative to say about Thai Sun whatsoever or its staff. The chefs even take the time to clean the prawns properly and you’d be amazed at how many places don’t! They all clearly care and take pride in what they do. They deserve and have earned every star. Give them a try you will not regret it! We Recommend/ Our Faves: weeping tiger. salt and pepper ribs (these are not deep fried they’re fall off the bone soft) yellow curry green curry mixed platter for 2 Som Tum Salad"

"I've just had my first meal from here and I was extremely pleased with the food. It was nice and hot, but most of all, it was absolutely delicious. I will be telling my family and friends to try here and I will definitely be having my Chinese food from here in the future. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20"

"I eat a lot of Thai food and this was BY FAR the worst I have ever eaten. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai for pickup and was shocked by how terrible it was. It was cold, soggy, and bland tasting; obviously having been microwaved and lacking any sort of fresh ingredients. I’m not even sure my dog would’ve eaten it. The staff were not very friendly either, which in combination with the food made for a very unpleasant lunch. In conclusion, you should avoid this restaurant like the plague."

"Eaten here for years. Best food for miles. Love it. Presently, due to Covid restrictions, it is not open quite as usual only Wed, Thurs, Fri lunch time. Usually there is a little British food (great too) but circumstances don 't allow too much cooking so it is only Thai presently this does not matter that is what it mainly is. Take my advice, eat here. Please 'phone first tho ' to book as understandably, seating is restricted. You will not be disappointed."

"The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! We started with the appetizers for two, followed by a shared yellow curry and jasmine rice. Everything was cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and a real delight to eat. For dessert, we enjoyed her homemade ice creams (coconut and chocolate chip) which were absolutely fantastic! The service was also excellent and attentive, despite the busy crowd. I highly recommend this restaurant when you're in the area!"

"Even 6 stars wouldn't be enough! The staff were so welcoming and helpful! The cakes looked absolutely delicious, loads of vegan options as well! The coffee was FANTASTIC! Even the little art on top was so good, wish I could have it everyday!"
"Very good food. I like the fact that you have an open kitchen and the customers are able to see the work of the chefs, this always gives a feeling of authenticity. I also tried the butterfly pea tea lemonade which was delicious. Extraordinarily quick, kind and efficient staff that attends to the needs of customers. The only downside to this place is there is not a lot of room between the tables so when the place is fully packed it might feel a bit tight and loud. But I can understand that were there more space between the tables, the owner would probably make way less money since the restaurant is quite small. Considering the small spaces between the tables, I was amazed by how quick the staff were."

"Please avoid. The reviews before can't be real as the food is terrible, greasy soggy squid. Over cooked chicken wings that are chewy, oil as sauce for minced chicken, spring rolls as soggy as wet paper. I spent over 60 pounds on what should have been okayThai food that promptly went in the bin. Such a shame as I thought we had found a nice Thai place in Woking. Will keep trekking to Thai Terace in Guildford"
