"What an awesome, awesome find; my wife booked this sight unseen as we were going on to a concert later in the evening. She looked at the venue, then searched for eateries around there and this gem was uncovered. We arrived and the cafe was fully of Uni Students, which is normally a great sign as students always search out good, great value food. The atmosphere was busy. This cafe is unlicensed, so you can bring your own alcoholic drinks (BYOB if you wish, we didn’t know this at the time, so we ordered Jasmin tea, which was delicious. I’m Vegan, but my wife isn’t, nothing was too much trouble. I have a starter of deep fried Tofu, which was delicious; the best Tofu dish I have ever had. My wife didn’t have a starter, but for main meals we ordered Pad See Aew (53 with seafood and I ordered Khan Pad Kee Mao (63 . These were both absolutely delicious. I (greedily asked for a second portion of the spicy rice (yes, it was THAT good! All this; drinks, one starter and three main courses for just over £23? I will definitely be back, this little cafe is an hours drive from where I live I would drive back there again in a heartbeat."

Truly authentic, tasty and fresh food but with no alcohol licence SO Bring your own for a small cockage charge. No Frills but Great portions, super flavours for a nice price.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and you can bring your own alcohol. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. The menu offers a wide variety of options and is great for vegetarians.

Was really looking forward to our visit as we’d been together for a dinner a long time ago, but it was just a real let down.. quality was bad and for the price, there are other better options around Headingley..

We were on our way to a concert and parked near here to avoid the traffic. Had a thai green curry and pad thai. The green curry was superb, the pad thai was good, but have had better., All in all though, we will be back.

We came with family for a meal. It was the best Thai food we’ve found outside of Thailand. Great herbs, spices and flavours. Authentic and even better value for money. Nice sized portions, friendly staff and cheap corkage too. Bring your own along. We had a variety of starters and mains and left full and satisfied. Definitely try this place if you’re in the area!

The food at this restaurant was excellent and came to our table promptly after we sat down. However, we were taken aback when the waiter rudely told us to leave as soon as we paid the bill. We felt rushed and were hoping to relax and chat for a while longer. Despite the great food, the unpleasant experience of being hurried out after only 40 minutes tainted our overall enjoyment of the meal.

Mays is very tiny and did well to accommodate our party of 12. Small kitchen in one end if the room ,tables in the other. Have had a cold for some time so went for the hottest thing on the menu I could find. May’s uses the chilli rating for their curries which inal ads find helpful. The curry was reasonably hot but I have had ‘worse’ but I was not disappointed. No alcohol for sale but you’re are quite welcome to bring your own. I would advise prebooking even for couples as tables are at a premium as it seems to be very popular with students especially in term time

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
