"I was very disappointed that they got the job wrong and gave me sweet potatoes (which I couldn't eat) instead of the vegan baked rolls I was looking forward to the experiment. their Cheesy chips had a teespoon size of sprinkle rubber cheese, I had to add my own and heat them up. the same went for the pizza, very little cheese, chewing teig and very limp looking and tasting veg. they were also half an hour too late. not recommended."

"First time I actually wonder into Luton while waiting for someone to land on the local airport. Found this place on Trip Advisor and tried it for breakfast and was not dissapointed! Realy good food, with a twist and quite varied, they seem to have something for everyone in a medium to small menu. The expresso coffee was good as well and the staff top notch. Nice music, to cheer you up in the morning as well."

"When we expressed our concerns to the staff, we were offered a ten percent discount. However, upon receiving the bill, we discovered that only the service charge had been removed, resulting in a mere £7.50 reduction from the total bill. This felt more like an insult than a gesture of apology, especially considering the manager had come out and apologized sincerely. The experience was a frustrating start to what was meant to be a special occasion, with some of my friends even traveling from outside London for the event. Overall, the restaurant did not meet our expectations and left us disappointed."

"we were away in our last night our mini-width and came over del mar as last option. it was the best meal of the weekend! the food proportions were good sizes, the enough space for all courses. great tasting eat especially for my mother, which is extremely fussy eater. the personal was very friendly and was a very clean restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere, a total good experience and would recommend to everyone in the opposite."

" been a while since I last visited this gem of a cafe, but it did not disappoint. Camden Road Cafe provides a cozy, relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The service was friendly and efficient, and the coffee was top-notch. I highly recommend stopping by this charming cafe for a peaceful coffee break away from the hustle and bustle of the city center."

"Unfortunately for us there was a wedding at the hotel when we visited and it was quite noisy. The toilet had beer bottles and toilet paper all over the floor. The service was better than the food, I’m not sure if I was expecting too much from a restaurant with such good reviews. Would I go again probably not after this experience."

"Stopped for lunch after a walk on the beach with our dog. Extensive menu and specials board. Ordered the cod fish cakes as a main and the pie of the day. Fish cakes were delicious, large and served with sweet chilli sauce, salad and chips. Hubby had the pie which was steak, ale and Stilton. It was home made, packed full of filling and served with mash, peas and gravy. Our dog was delighted with her nuggets from the doggy menu. Apparently a new chef, he’s made a great impression on us."

"I recently visited Chicago Rib Shack on its opening night in Twickenham, and I must say that the young staff did a fantastic job. There were no signs of opening day nerves, they managed the seating times perfectly to prevent overwhelming the kitchen. Our waitress informed us that most of the staff were new, but the cooking team had experience and demonstrated their skills in preparing delicious food. After enjoying a drink at the bar, we ordered a round of starters. Getting three starters for £14 was a great deal. Twickenham has not had many new and trendy restaurants like London, so it's refreshing to have these newer options available now."

"The Swan is such a special pub/restaurant, always delivering great food and drinks with well judged serviced. We had lunch today (as it happened entertained by the puppy at one nearby table, and a cute toddler at another! , and the food was as good as we remember (from pre pandemic . I had the burrata and tomato salad, the other half had the pea saffron risotto. My salad was excellent (all about the quality of the ingredients , though the risotto felt a little over seasoned not nearly enough to send it back, don't get me wrong, it could just be that they use a slightly saltier stock than I use to make risotto. It was beautifully presented with grilled vine tomatoes and a handful of rocket on top much better than my risotto ..."

"They do pizzas and not much else (there’s lasagne etc but it’s basically just pizza… and as such they do it exceptionally well. Nice atmosphere and even the obligatory red and white cheque tablecloths. All clean, and very friendly, and the bill was reasonable too. We had some tiramisu for dessert and lovely limoncello. About the only downtick would be the very early closing time 10pm on a Friday."

"A few friends recommended this place, so we decided to give it a try. The experience started off well enough—we were seated quickly, and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. The seating was comfortable, and the coffee was decent, though nothing special. However, the meal itself left much to be desired. We ordered our food and ended up waiting nearly an hour for it to arrive. I understand that there was only one chef in the kitchen, which could explain the delay, but unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing. We ordered several poached eggs, and out of six, four were fully cooked through, including the yolk, which gave them an odd texture. The hash browns, although they didn’t look appetizing—they resembled a used sponge—actually tasted alright. However, paying £15 for a full English breakfast that looked and tasted like this felt excessive. We also tried the salmon avocado toast, but it was another letdown. The toast was burnt, and the avocado was stiff, clearly not ripe yet. Another aspect that could use improvement is the cleanliness and overall tidiness of the place. At one point, the waiter dropped a piece of cutlery on the floor and then placed it back on the table for customer use, which was concerning. In summary, while the restaurant has some positives, the food and attention to cleanliness need serious work. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend coming here for breakfast given our experience."

"I thought this place was pretty poor. It’s a very well run operation and the atmosphere is perfectly fine but if you’re going because you want to enjoy quality food then give it a miss if home cooked is throwing a boiled potato and celery plus radish on the side of a bowl with liquidised anchovies and bread then I’ll never eat grandmas cooking again. Infact it’s more the concept of how can we be clever and keep this ticket going coz it pretty much runs itself with not much extras required its a relatively small sitting area which always makes it seem more in demand than would be if there were more normal numbers of covers. They have a side business in gelato across the street which I didn't want to try after this meal.. The fried cod was dripping in oil , that the langoustines hadn’t had their waste channel cleaned prior to serving but the vibe was lively so if that is what you're after you'll enjoy it."

"Quirky and eclectic little cafe restaurant with tasty and fresh food. We had the red Thai noodle salad and the Thai burger, both were lovely and fresh. The burger fell apart a bit and was messy but this is a common issue with these types of patties. The flavour was lovely none the less! Staff were friendly and attentive and there was a clean washroom available as well. Lots of baked goods available, though we were too full to try any."

"it was 12 of us booked and we had preordered our starters and nets. there were 3 or 4 changes in the night and it could not go smoother. we all had a fantastic night with delicious food. the plates had a lot on them, and everything was cooked as the people wanted it to be cooked (the steaks). the workers are welcoming and nothing was too much annoyed. would go again. if there was a thing I would have changed, I would like to have clobed chips with my stroganoff and hubby would have liked them as standard with his steak, there was not much to the pommes."

"Looking at other reviews it seems we were unlucky with our experience last week. It was the worst pub meal I have had in ages dried up pasta with minimal sauce. When we complained we were brough a container of sauce to add! Another of our party ordered a pork dish which arrived without the dauphinoise potatoes, which he was told they had run out of. He was offered chips which were brought just as he was finishing his meal! The mussels were presented without a bowl to put the shells in and no finger bowl. This never appeared even after it was requested. We were loudly asked if we wanted more drink with monotonous regularity throughout the evening. Truly an awful experience."

"First visit Marlow and to a pub for ages thanks Covid and long overdue reunion with friend of many years. Everything a welcoming pub should be, friendly staff, great service attentive but not overpowering. We had a quiet corner table near the...woodburner, where we could have a proper conversation (both hearing impaired but we were able to hear each other perfectly, often a challenge in a busy pub). Excellent vegetarian and vegan options and generous portions. The wine suggestion was spot on and they happily made a cortado on request. Looking forward to visiting again next time I’m in Marlow."

"Thank you for the hospitality that I received when visiting your Media City restaurant last Friday for a pre-theatre meal. Food and Menu There is a simple menu that includes all the Italian and American classics that people love to eat. The choices are limited however it does cater for a range of diners from the Meat lover to the Vegetarian. In the Starters there is a Garlic Pizza Bread that is tasty with a great Garlic aroma. There is also American Style Nachos with Jalapeños and all the sauces to dip into. In addition, there is Calamari, Ribs and the Chicken Crunch too. In the Mains there is a great selection of Pizzas with good flavours. There are also additional toppings that you can add on for an extra charge. There is also a decent variety of Steak, Pasta, and Salad dishes for those that fancy them too. For the Burger fan there are some Beef Burgers and a Chicken Fillet one too. There is also a wide variety of sides that are a great addition to your meal from Chips, Sweet Potato Fries to Onion Rings and Garlic Bread too. For those with a sweet tooth then there is a selection of popular Desserts including the Warm Chocolate Brownie, Cheesecake and, Tiramisu that is creamy and indulgent to eat. If you like cold Desserts then there is Ice Cream and the Knicker Bocker Glory. For the Starters the Garlic Pizza Bread was tasty and moorish. It was soft in the middle with a bite on the edges. It was yummy. The Calamari was pleasant to eat but could have been cooked more as it was slightly rubbery to eat. For the Mains the Chicken Fillet Burger was perfectly cooked and it was beautifully presented. It was tasty and heart-warming to eat. The Salad and the Mayonnaise added more flavour. The Sweet Potato Fries were comforting to eat. They were crispy on the outside with soft fluffy Potato on the inside. I love how they are presented in a small pan dish. Cute. The Onion Rings were scrumptious. Their crispy batter was great on the outside with soft Onion pieces inside. It was a heart pleaser. For Dessert the Chocolate Brownie and Ice Cream was heavenly to eat. The Brownie was cooked superbly. It was not hard to eat but it was runny with gooey and indulgent Chocolate. Yum. The Ice Cream was great too as it cut through the richness of the Chocolate adding texture. It was also stunning in presentation in which the Chocolate Brownie is in the middle of the plate with a lovely scoop of Ice Cream on top. Drinks They have a good selection of soft drinks which include all the popular ones to have. There is also a small variety of juices on offer too. However they do not serve non-alcoholic Mocktails. Service The service was good. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and accommodating. She gave us the time to choose our dishes. Her suggestions for food were spot on. It was good that the food came out pretty quickly and it was beautifully presented. Lighting and Access The lighting at this restaurant was pretty bright which allows for an enjoyable meal for most people including those with visual impairments. Entry to this restaurant is at the Holiday Inn Hotel to which there is a small step to enter into the building. Once inside there are stairs and lifts to get to the Mezzazine floor. This is where you will find the restaurant. There are no stairs inside as it is on one level. Furniture The furniture here is brilliant. I love the big tables which are spacious. The chairs are big and are comfortable to sit on. This gives a relaxed ambiance so that you can dine in style. Parking Parking is available at the Quayside Media City UK multi-storey car park (formerly The Lowry). If you are a Blue Badge holder then you will get 4 free hours when stamping your ticket. This takes effect from the time of arrival. Alternatively you can park at the Media City multi-storey which is closer to the venue. Pricing The pricing of the dishes at this restaurant are mid- range. However it is worth visiting once a while especially if the waiters are good, the food is tasty and that it is beautifully presented. If you love to eat Italian and American food within a relaxed atmosphere then head down to your local Marco’s."
