"great place for pre-theater food. so they don't have background music so that you can speak correctly without irritating distraction/inability. beautiful social bollness and pleasant waiting staff who are attentive without being intrusive. good options on fixed price menu, which is very good, but would like to see that this has changed more frequently as it was visiting as with the last one. are very good and tasty. not the same recipes that are usually pampered by Italian chain restaurants."

"This is the cutest, most heart warming place this side of Italy. Apulia lies on the fringe of Farringdon meat market and serves up simple but delicious dishes all cooked up with the love of every Italian grandma. Choose your starter from burrata, stuzzicoso, bruschetta and prosciutto di parma and enjoy with a glass of prosecco. And then the real feast begins. It 's genuinely hard to choose from the array of comforting delights on offer: artisan ravioli stuffed with ricotta and mushrooms, served with sausage, cherry tomato and pecorino cheese, spaghetti alle vongole and risotto with asparagus with sicilian king prawns, believe it or not, all had to give way to bigger and better options. To whet the appetite, we indulged in a margherita pizza to share and then picked the ravioli ricotta and truffle with portobello mushroom, sage and grana cheese which was rich and indulgent. The stracetti ai funghi is an original choice: beef strips with mushrooms and capers in a creamy butter and lemon sauce served with whole red rice with onions and 'escrolls ' and if you know what they are, you 're one step ahead of me. And for my personal favourite, the tagliatelli with king prawns, pesto and crushed cashew nuts. Creamy, decadent and delightfully tasty. And there 's a delicious selection of desserts to top off a perfect, homely meal. Uncomplicated, unspoiled Italian food at its very best. "I live for the aubergine melanzana. I order the large so I can heat up leftovers the next day for lunch. It reheats beautifully. My daughter got the ragù alla bolognese, which was clearly made by angels. That also heated up great the next day. The desserts are so good they could bring a tear to your eye"

"My family visited this restaurant last night. As always, the service was excellent and there was a pleasant buzz in the square. It wasn't too crowded, just the sounds of many satisfied customers. The food was delicious as usual. We enjoyed authentic Italian pastas, many of which were homemade, and the sauces were all fantastic. We also had a delicious bottle of Etna Bianco wine and a great Negroni. The prices were very reasonable. We regret not trying the Bruschetta, as they looked amazing. We will definitely be back soon. "Terrible, sadly. We've eaten here and had great meals, but booked to have brunch on a Saturday morning. Upon arrival we were told that 3 4 members of staff hadn't turned up, and to leave. "Although in St Pancras Station this place is tucked away and slightly set back (by Boots and M+S), so was much quieter than I thought it would be. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and the service very attentive and efficient. We were asked several times if everything was ok, and the staff were all very pleasant and smiling. The goats cheese, fig and red onion pizza was crisp, a bit different, but great tasting. A starter of beetroot and red onion was simple but delicious. The wine selection by the glass is good value, as were the meals. An interesting find that I would certainly go back to."

"I found the food to be fresh and of good quality at this restaurant. The service was good but basic, reflecting the current trend in Dublin where customer service may not be as friendly as in other places. I prefer servers who are friendly and engaging when I dine out. Unfortunately, we were not immediately offered drinks or informed about specials when we were seated, which I believe should be standard practice in the restaurant industry. The menu seems to be slightly overpriced, especially the salads, and the pizza is comparable in taste to Milanos but more expensive. However, the decor is nice and, most importantly, the food and wine were enjoyable. I would definitely visit again if in the area as I have a fondness for Italian cuisine."

"Sadly we had an untrained uninformed waiter and went at a time when the pizza oven was just being turned off due to an earlier problem. We were denied pizzas, not given menus on arrival, had to ask for water twice and for cutlery. The waiter told us the vegetables pasta had vegetables in the meat pasta had meat in. My large glass of wine was given as half a litre in a carafe. They also didn't have the beer we wanted the homemade lemonade was so small it was just a couple of sips. We all had burgers in the end which were good."

"I called into Passione Pizza on an early October evening when the restaurant was not that busy and I needed a quick bite to eat. The staff were friendly, I was swiftly seated and ordered a basic mozzarella and tomato pizza (the Regina di Bufala) and a beer where I was upsold the Hovels Ambrata variety. The pizza came quickly and was very good while the beer was OK (but I wished I had ordered the basic lager type – I am no beer aficionado and I suspect something basic is more to my liking). I finished with a coffee. The staff were friendly and if you want a quick and good quality pizza Passione Pizza is a good option."

"The welcome was reasonably attentive, and the service for our starters and main courses was acceptable. However, even though the restaurant wasn’t full, it was quite noisy. The music wasn’t well-suited to the atmosphere and, at times, was excessively loud. Little details like this matter. There were no soft furnishings or curtains to help absorb the sound. We found the food experience to be mixed. The starters were enjoyable, and my wife's main course was quite impressive, while my pasta dish was just average. The dessert menu was very limited, lacking options for coffee, dessert wine, or cheese. These felt like significant omissions. Overall, it was a mixed experience. We genuinely wanted to enjoy our meal, but it seemed to fall short, especially as service declined towards the end of the evening. At one point, we even had to fetch our own coats since there was no host to bid us farewell. In summary, my wife would recommend the restaurant based on her main course, but I wouldn’t, as there were too many shortcomings. I hope this feedback is helpful."
