"We came a couple of months ago and had a fabulous meal so we decided to come again. We weren't disappointed. I had the same starter as last time but for the main went for flatiron beef. I thought it would be a small portion...but it was very generous and beautifully cooked and served with parmesan shavings, salad leaves and cherry tomatoes. My wife had amazing beef cheeks so tender. We had desert too. The waiter was new and forgot our vegetables which wasn't really a problem and they insisted on waiving the service charge but this wasn't at all necessary. We will definitely be back and I can't recommend this place highly enough."

Came here for a birthday dinner. Great food (and wine) overall, all the pastas we tried were delicious. Also worth trying their focaccia for starters.

Absolutely loved this restaurant and will be returning. Buzzing atmosphere but still able to hear each other! Prawns on a broad bean and chicory purée as a starter was absolutely fantastic, best starter I’ve had in ages. Beautiful fresh pasta. View menu

we decided to share some appetizers: the oktopus carpaccio, the Antipasti cellar and the often baked Caciocavallo cheese. our first choice was actually the burrata (a relatiw new discovery for me, and one continued from my trip to rom), but unfortunately they had run out. a reason to go back, I think.

we had a family dinner here on Friday night and we could not have wished better. we had not booked, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. the food was excellent and despite the restaurant was busy, it came in good time. we don't plan. normally, return to the same restaurant, but we already remember to go back on the day of the father recommended.

We had been to an event at the Charterhouse, nearby, and had booked to go here, just along from Smithfield Market. We arrived early but were accommodated at a nice table immediately. The restaurant was busy so you could tell it's popular. I chose wild...boar ragu, my family had a pizza and ravioli. We all enjoyed our meals and the bottle of white wine was good too. None of it was overprice. We were all very satisfied. View menu

here again with some friends, visit for christmas. midweek visit pretty quiet, especially given the omicron situation. we all thought eating was excellent (including one of us who lived a lot in italy). we are already some paintings here in the last. last years and my impression was that the proces definitiw were scrubing northwards, especially that they were away from the pizza (we thought desserts had risen a lot, for example). this is probably on brexit and pandemic, but it makes the place a little less good. eating is always authentic and excellent.

when they go around the smithfield market, it is surrounded by Italian restaurants: amico bio, apulia, il botteglio, polpo, attilio’s. When I live here, I tried most of them. the only thing I haven't been is amico bio (vegetarian restaurant) but it's my next project. apulia is by far my favorite (previous assessment here), it is my plan b if I have nothing in the refrigerator or if I am too lazy to cook. they have beautiful fresh products that eat is fantastic and pizzas are very good. waiter and waiter are always beautiful and welcoming. it always feels like being home when I dine there.
