"The bistro was somewhat empty and as a result, it felt quite dull and lacking in atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The lasagna was cooked and served in the same dish, making it extremely hot. The garnish was minimal, consisting of just a few sprigs of greenery."

"I had the best meal in Santa Fe at this restaurant! It was absolutely outstanding. We arrived around 9 am on a weekday morning and the restaurant was only about 20% full."

"There were about four appetizers and five curries, but only one choice for the curries. The fish was particularly delightful and we could order hot bread right at our table. A variety of sauces and dips for the poppadoms were also available, all of which were truly delicious. Each dish was replenished frequently and remained fresh despite the low turnout. However, the service from the staff was disappointing. It took quite a while for them to take our orders and the overall attentiveness was lacking, making it difficult to get their attention when we needed something. On a positive note, the interior of the restaurant was beautiful, modern, and felt clean and safe. I would certainly consider dining here again, as it offers great value for a filling and enjoyable lunch!"

"The dining experience was amazing, with excellent service throughout. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My friend and I not only enjoyed our meal for its delicious taste but also appreciated the overall atmosphere. A big thank you to them for offering us such a fantastic lunch!"

"Today, 8 of us visited for lunch and had a great experience. The staff were pleasant, the service was excellent, and there was a great selection on the menu. The prices were very affordable and the restaurant was clean. We can't wait to come back and try the evening menu. Best wishes to Ray, Ciaran, and the whole team. We highly recommend this restaurant and think it is a great addition to the craft village in Derry city centre. We will definitely be back soon!"

"We had booked a pitch for a motorhome and booked the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Normally on a Sunday most pubs have very little choice apart from the standard Sunday roast, which is fine if that’s what you want. But we found the menu excellent for choices as well as the roast dinners. We were not disappointed in any part of our stay, the staff was most helpful, polite and the food was exceptional. We both had starters and burgers to follow which were lovely, very tasty and well presented. Reasonably priced, nice comfortable bar and dog friendly. We would definitely recommend"

"The food menu was new and only offered limited Sunday roast options. We each ordered one, but it was disappointing to learn that there was no children's menu available. One of the parents had to leave to find food for their son at a local chippy, which was unacceptable for a family pub. After waiting about 1 hour and 30 minutes, only 4 out of 10 orders arrived, and most of them were undercooked. Despite our concerns, no staff members approached us until we started asking questions and spoke to the manager. We were informed that they had outsourced their Sunday kitchen for the first time, but by 3pm, the chef had still not arrived and amateurs or alternative help were attempting to prepare the orders. Ultimately, we were told that no further food would be served. We decided to leave and were still asked to pay for our drinks. Overall, it was a completely unacceptable experience and we will not be returning to the Paxton in the future."

"We had a steak and ribs to start with. The ribs were fantastic, they fall off the bone and were absolutely delicious. The steak was served with a peppercorn sauce, which in my views was a bit different, but actually one of the best l have had. Overall a great place with good steaks and ribs for the meat lovers out there. The only niggle that I would have, is the smell off those ordering meat on a stone. Despite we didn’t ordered it, we did leave we the smell. However, that did ruin the experience we had. Food wise good overall a good experience. I will come back for the ribs..."

"The food arrived cold at the table, and the chips we ordered for the baby were covered in salt. Overall, it was a really disappointing meal, and I've had poor service here in the past as well."

"I went for lunch. It's the first time I've been to this restaurant. There's a lovely small covered area at the front of the restaurant with patio heaters and a lovely touch blankets if it's cold. The menu is quite varied. I had garlic pizza with rosemary, cheese and parma ham to start (which is large enough to share). My friend had brucetta. For mains I had linguini carbonara which was delightful and full of bacon. My friend had chicken in a sauce with a varied choice of potatoes. The staff were very helpful and friendly and courteous. Will definitely visit again."

"As we were staying in the hotel we had lunch and dinner here the first day. My husband had Moules frites (twice) which he raved about. My choice was 3 small plates £10. Unfortunately I feel that they were bought froze. Crumbed prawns were mushy, the Mango chicken skewers didn’t taste of mango. The chorizo bites were nice enough though."

"As an Indian buffet The World Banquet could do fairly well, everything else just seems like an after thought. It's probably a great place for families, but if you want a great curry or Chinese then you're better off seeking an alternative. All too often when a restaurant attempts too many things it will achieve mediocre results, too many cuisines kills the chef."

"Seems to be a bit overlooked as a bar lots of places to sit, spacious (unlike many other quayside venues). Drink prices are reasonable. The food is a bit meh , but it 'll do. My fish n chips were filling, but uninspiring. You go for the space really, it 's light, comfy and good to get a big group of you in with bums on seats. Ladies loo 's could do with a refurb. Also, it 's dog friendly, which is handy :)Tip: if you 're in the ladies, the reason you can 't lock the door is that someone 's mounted the locks too low, so you have to shove the door up, then lock."

"Booked for afternoon tea for a group of 12 for a small celebration. The experience and food were absolutely fine; however despite me contacting the hotel in advance by email and phone several times to confirm numbers and check whether or not a preorder was required (we were told on the phone it was not required, nor did we need to confirm the numbers until arriving on the day, both of which I specifically asked about) when we arrived the lady in charge was not aware of the arrangements I had made and seemed quite annoyed when my friend who arrived before me (and had nothing to do with the booking) didn’t know how many people were in our party. I had also asked if we could come in early and put up some balloons etc (absolutely fine if not which is why I asked) and was told that would be ‘more than fine’ on the phone, but again on arrival this hadn’t been communicated to the staff on duty so that we felt we were being a nuisance."

"We were looking for a venue to host our baby's christening party. My wife found this gem when looking, at first we were a bit skeptical because a speciality Goa restaurant in London seemed to sound more like one of the many restaurants, masquerading as an Indian restaurant serving Goan dishes (aloo vindaloo is not Goan We were in for a pleasant surprise! Flames is a family run restaurant with a great team at its helm. Sachin kept us posted at all times, adviced us on what we could expect, patiently heard what we did not want, in short the experience was thoroughly professional with a very good personal touch. On the day itself, the food was delicious (starters mince cutlets the cylindrical ones ; , leg of tandoori chicken, crispy veg., veg. samosa, mains veg caldin, chana masala, pork vindaloo, chicken xacuti, goan pulao, tossed salad, russian salad, desert fruit trifle , service impeccable, ambience fantastic, great music and very happy guests. We highly recommend this restaurant to those who have been to Goa and have had authentic Goan food and also to those who have never had but would like to try. You will not be disappointed. Sachin, his wife and their team provided us with the perfect Goan dining experience away from Goa. Thanks very much Flames, you rock!"
