"Popped in on spec great table for 2 near the front. A homely, vintage and quirky feel to the furniture and walls. Good menu, good range and good prices. Service was warm and welcoming. And supremely efficient. We had coronation chicken baked potato and humus, avocado salad sandwiches. All excellently prepared and presented. And very decent portions, generous in every aspect. A great place drop in, you will not be disappointed. And we will be back very, very soon."

"After seeing Priya advertised on Facebook (Ayrshire Post), I decided to check it out after reading the reviews. With my partner’s 50th birthday coming up on Monday and his love for Indian food, I thought it would be a great treat for him. I have to say, I wasn't very familiar with Indian cuisine before this visit, but that's definitely changed! I highly recommend Priya—the food was absolutely delicious. We opted for the early bird menu, which included two courses for just £10. Our total bill, including three alcohol-free drinks and a peshwari naan (so tasty!), came to only £28.15. I will definitely be returning!"

"First time at The Tudor, chosen by my friends who are local and regulars at the restaurant. Great choice on the menu, very generous portions and excellent value with the 2 and 3 course meal deal. Meal was very nicely prepared, the homemade pie was fabulous and meat content was very tender. Staff friendly and professional. Tried to return next night with my hubby only it was packed. Can see why, great restaurant would certainly return again when next in the area."

"I was disappointed that the breaded pork escalope was in fact 2 small pieces of cooked pork in batter. My dining companions breaded lemon sole was similarly coated in batter. The rest of the plates were fine. The restaurant service was good, although all the staff seemed relatively inexperienced. They were very pleasant however. The young gentleman behind the bar was, unfortunately, extremely unprofessional. He announced very loudly and repeatedly that he was all alone and expected to service drinks to the restaurant and the bar. Given there were only 2 tables of 2 in the bar, including us, that didn’t seem a huge task. I could say more but hope this is sufficient information to warrant a retraining session for him."
