I have disabilities so I truly appreciate, staff's patience when delivering food. I feel guilty for constantly ordering from Balti Raj, I just can't stop. The food quality is amazing and honestly affordable. I have bought food from other restaurants, where the portion is just about enough for one person and everything is so expensive, that we have ended up going without food, at times. However, I have been grateful that we are getting something to eat and because of my grateful attitude. I have been blessed to remember about Balti Raj and we have been eating well since ordering from Balti Raj, Alhamdulillah. "A good gastropub is a fantastic find, and Newman Street Tavern has quickly become my new favorite spot. Located on the corner of Newman Street and Goodge Street, it's perfect for a meal out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. "It is a well laid out restaurant which is fresh and bright and in general does carry a good atmosphere. However, the food did let it down for me. Not much choice for gluten free, and when I did ask for the yogurt and berries with the nuts, grains and seeds, I received a very small amount of yogurt, and was informed that there weren't many berries as they had almost run out. I also got honey at a request. It was nice but such a small amount that it was a bit disappointing. Service was okay. Everyone else seemed okay with what they had."

"Probably one of the best English breakfast the capital has to offer. The quality of ingredients, skill of the cook and the presentation are at its best here. Served in a relaxing atmosphere, even the decor of this place is fun and comfortable. Well done. OK I'm posting again on the 15/08/17 because I've just eaten possibly the best marinated chicken burger you can get. Absolutely delicious. Served up with fantastic onion rings and fries. "On walking in we were shown to the bar and told it would be a short wait for our table, it turned out to be seconds rather than minutes, the staff were very pleasent and helpful and patient. The food and drinks arrived at just the right timing and both the food and drinks were spot on. I would recommend Bellini's to all, mywife asked a waiter if he could take a photo of our party and he did so with no complaint at all. All the staff were polite and friendly."

"Hats off to the management and staff of Cantinetta for truly earning this one-star review from me. It was a team effort that I felt deserved recognition. We had guests from out of town and it was up to us to pick a restaurant that showcased the best of Crosby (according to Google reviews). We were a party of 10 who had reserved a table for Saturday evening with plenty of time to prepare and even pre-order if needed. Upon arrival, we were seated and given the drink menu. Unfortunately, the staff took 40 minutes before taking our drink orders, despite reminders. They seemed to make excuses rather than fulfill their duties. We should have probably left at that point, but we stayed. The food that was eventually served was inedible, particularly the Bruschettas which were popular choices for starters. There were delays in serving the main dishes as well, with some younger guests jokingly starting to eat the table. Thankfully, the main meals were of decent quality once served, but the service lacked any apologies or acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. When we spoke to the manager about our experience, he seemed indifferent. This lack of care or apologies for a subpar experience on their part is the reason for this one-star review. "The Waitresses and staff don’t shower. They come into work unshowered. I don’t like my food handled by unshowered staff members. How do I know? You know a person is umshowered when you look at them. They look stale. They touch their faces. Scratch their faces. Rub all the matter from their eyes. Never wash their hands and serve hot drinks, juices and food. I pin pointed it to the girl and she said oh she washed her hands after rubbing her eyes. But I was seated in front of her and she didn’t. She spied to the rest of beverage makers behind the counter. One by one stared at me, trying to be discreet. And starred at them hard, to make it known I was being gossiped about. That is my go to place to unwind and relax. Only if the waitresses shower before showing up for work."

"about this place mute when shopping in canada water retail park. don't let them be fooled by the name, it's actually an Italian restaurant serving fantastic sourdough based pizza. her menu explains the source of her ingredients, most of which are Italian! shows that they really care about their ingredients. we had smeared the garlic bread (sour teig) with their san marzano tomato paste for appetizers. then the diavola (picky salami, zwiebel chutney and basilikum) and prosciutto e funghi (dress, cotto ham, petersilie, garlauch) pizzas for pornstar. probably was a mistake to have 2 brot varieties, but it was great! must definitely go back and try their other appetizers and maybe a pasta dish. very friendly staff. can see that this place is popular with locals."

"It has been great watching this place go for strength to strength since it first arrived in Angel. I’d first heard about it from a friend who raved about the one in Covent Garden and I’ve enjoyed seeing more and more of them pop up in London. Even though Bill’s is starting to have franchise status it sticks to its roots by maintaining the lovely home grown feel that made it so successful. Bottles and jars of its specially sourced produce still line the walls, next to blackboards which exclaim the specials in a charmingly slap dash fashion. Bill’s is great for any time of day; I particularly like their lighter snacks at lunch time, having once had a beautifully fresh crab salad from the specials menu. But a real treat for me is to come here for brunch. The portion sizes are refreshingly large; go for a full English if you are feeling particularly hungry, a highlight of which are the Cumberland sausages which are thick and tasty. Even the buttered toast is a gorgeous salty delight, and is one of the best aspects of the huge serving of salmon and scrambled eggs on toast which is on offer. The one criticism I have is for the cream tea which didn’t quite live up to my expectations; it was nice but not up to the standard I have come to expect from Bill’s as the cakes were slightly dry and the sandwiches boring. But all in all Bill’s is fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants, for the colourful, pretty interior, friendly service and delicious indulgent food."

"Came to bengal spice for the first time and thought the restaurant looked nice and cosy. Bringing your own drinks was a nice touch to keep the cost down too. Unfortunately after eating the food we had the worst tummy pain from it , messed our sleep up because the food was definitely not right. I think it was something to do with the sauce. "While the food was hot and tasty, we debated on whether to risk waiting for dessert. Unfortunately, that decision was made for us as we were left unattended after the plates were cleared for the main course. No one came back to check if we wanted dessert, so we eventually had to flag someone down to ask for the bill instead. It's a shame because the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the food was reasonably priced—especially the festive menu. Unfortunately, the service was poor enough that we decided to remove the service charge (a first for us), and we likely won't be returning anytime soon."

"Whilst we come here quite frequently and really enjoy the dinners, unfortunately on this occasion we were really let down by the service. We had a table booked for 20:30, and we arrived bang on time. We were told our table would be available in 5 10 mins which is absolutely fine so we waited outside. After 15 mins they apologized that the table was taking slightly longer to vacate than expected so offered us a table outside with some free olives until we could be seated at our table. Unfortunately however, 45 mins passed and we were still not given our table which we had booked in advance. We questioned why we couldn't have our table despite booking, and were informed that they could not do anything to resolve this the party who had the table were overstaying their booking slot (18:30 20:30) and the waitress did not feel she could ask the table to vacate. We feel they could have simply asked the table to politely vacate as their booking slot was finished and they needed the table, but they did not want to do this. Sadly having lost faith in ever getting our table we had to go elsewhere."

"This used to be my favourite takeaway treat but lately I'm sure I'm getting the day before chips warmed up. They are rubbery and horrible. Whatever happened to the fresh crisp chips I used to get? They were the best takeout chips of any takeaway in my area, but not any more. I may have to find another pizza place if I keep getting chips like that."

"Service was incredibly slow!they weren’t very busy but there seemed to be a lot of waiting staff just wandering about doing nothing. After our main meal we offered dessert and coffees. One coffee arrived followed 10 minutes later by desserts. We then asked a further two times about the other coffee. It eventually arrived 30 minutes after we had ordered it. I have been a longtime customer of Bills and have never experienced anything like this before. I definitely won’t be going to the Hammersmith branch again!"
