"A charming little café in the heart of Catford, which might not meet everyone’s expectations. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor. I had lunch with some friends, and I had to get up to ask our server to take our order. My friends received their meals quickly, but I was left waiting for about 10 minutes before my food arrived. I had ordered a tuna salad with bread, but no bread was served. When I inquired about it, the bread finally came about 5 minutes later. On the bright side, the food was tasty; my salad was fresh and delicious, and both of my friends also enjoyed their meals. However, when it was time to get the bill, I had to get up and ask again, which took another 15 minutes. If the service were improved, this could be a fantastic spot for a meal."

"Translation: Wow! A short walk from Kensington station and definitely worth it! Be prepared to share a table with some friendly strangers, but it adds to the experience. "We organised a karaoke party for a group of 12 year old girls on Sunday afternoon 3 July and they absolutely loved it. It was the only place in town that did karaoke for kids and families. Our host Ivy made the karaoke room warm and inviting and for the girls it felt really authentic and special. There was plenty of food and drinks included in the price and all of it was delicious. The girls enjoyed singing their favourite songs, eating together and being looked after so well by Ivy and her team. Whilst the girls enjoyed their space we parents sat downstairs and enjoyed a tasty set menu box. I had the Gyosa with skewered veg and my husband the tempora which was hot and tasty. The cost per head for the party was good value for money and was very relaxed. Yes there was a 10% service charge which is pretty common now, and we were happy to pay it because we'd received such care and attention to everything. I'd recommend Obento for family, kids, parties it's a really fun way to share an experience together with good company and super tasty food. Thank you to everyone at Obento for making our party so amazing, the girls were raving about it !!!!! I've included a pic of the set up, this was before I added some party banners, balloons. There is a sunken table lit from beneath which looks great"

"We were looking for a local cafe for breakfast as we were staying in the area. We found Sunshine Cafe and it ticked all of our boxes. All food is cooked fresh and arrives piping hot. There were three off us, we had two of the set breakfasts and one ordered just the specific items they wanted. There were no problems making the orders and the service was very good from our very friendly waitress. All of the food was cooked very well. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything and left three empty plates which really set us up for the day. The cafe wasn’t particularly busy, but it should be. People of Bristol and visitors, if you want a well cooked good value English breakfast, get along to the Sunshine Cafe!"

"absolutely brilliant eating, very inexpensive and friendly, welcoming, very efficient staff. I know. the portions are large, the falafel meal, on the menu as a hot starter, is to place the size of a main course at others. main dishes from the grill and...wraps are as one or two spits, so portion sizes for all appetite. it is not just a grill, but there is an amazing selection of food and drinks available here. Why do I tell you? If everyone finds out how good this place is, I'm complaining only if I can't get a place next. a really fantastic place very recommended. the only part is the position, within the concrete, pedestrian zone can not win, all I suspect. ignore the location, but the restaurant and the personal are excellent."

"Our order got drooped on the floor (that's ok, these things happen, although of course it made our wait longer). They kindly hurried to get it remade, but sadly when we got our order home new pizzas were missing some toppings we paid for — in the rush to replace them they weren't well made either and one was almost too salty to eat. I'd heard good things about this place, but unfortunately our experience was really not very good at all and I have had better pizza for less."

"I'm not sure if it was due to the delivery instead of dining in, but the pizza was cold and the cheese didn't seem to be melted properly, almost as if it was added as a last minute decision. The toppings were quite sparse, but the crust and the additional seasoning were delicious. I opted for the standard vegan option, but I have definitely had better pizzas elsewhere."
