I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This may be a small place but the food was delicious and the welcome from the family who run the business her e was humbling. Highly recommend this for a tasty meal, Welsh produce in a meditteranean style.

I frequently visit the Royal Coast Cafe for shisha and dining. I am completely enamored with this establishment. The ambiance is incredibly soothing and the staff is extremely hospitable. It is my preferred spot to unwind. View menu

Excellent food very tasty and not expensive, the kids loved their Pizza which is the best I’ve tried for years. Good friendly service. Only down size it’s it’s size small and gets busy but best place for lunch in Cardiff center my a long way

The starter was lovely but the main course was a major let down. I ordered half a chicken which had obviously been reheated as it was cold in the middle but cooked. The chicken was chewy and did not taste fresh the rice was to...greasy. I went here last year and had a much better experience I doubt if I will ever visit again.

Love the food here but very unwelcoming atmosphere if you aren’t arab!! I started to get delivery because it was just so uncomfortable to go there, the main guy behind the till doesn’t even look at you when you order, extremely rude and very obvious...he didn’t want us there. Changed my order and they still got it wrong. Definitely would not recommend eating in because of the very racist environment here. Trust me. And I am half arab!! View menu

eating is beautiful and fresh. I had foul (bean stew) that was delicious and served with brot. no basboosa or kenafa were available, although advertised on the menu. also Arabic coffee was not available. it is really bad considering that they are advertised in an Arab caffe. the person I was with had a zatar teig that came out like a zatarian pizza. it was beautiful, but not garnished and nothing special. the waiters do not seem confident or competent. I was asked to repeat my order again 2 minutes after the first order. the dame who works there is atmospheric and seems stressed and seems to order the waiters around.

Last night in Cardiff and chose the Royal Coast Cafe as it was close to my hotel and it was freezing cold (less distance to walk). Ordered Kibbeh, Royal Mixed Grill and Kanafeh as a desert. Kibbeh was nice and crisp on the outside and...soft on the inside. Sometimes it can be a bit dry but not this one. The mixed grill was divine. I have no idea what they season the meat with but it was absolutely gorgeous, and to be honest I am trying to remember having anything as good. Finally, a piece of Kanafeh which is a Palestinian cheese pastry soaked in syrup. It was an absolute taste sensation. absolutely brilliant eating, very inexpensive and friendly, welcoming, very efficient staff. I know. the portions are large, the falafel meal, on the menu as a hot starter, is to place the size of a main course at others. main dishes from the grill and...wraps are as one or two spits, so portion sizes for all appetite. it is not just a grill, but there is an amazing selection of food and drinks available here. Why do I tell you?
