"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"Ordered a delivery yesterday through UberEats. 2 put of 3 items were incorrect. I called the shop to advise of this. No offer of a replacement but was told if I contacted UberEats I would be refunded. Done this and have been refused a refund. Really disappointed as I normally love this place and often go there for lunch when at work. £10 of food in bin and had to fork out more money to order from somewhere else."

"I was visiting Ledbury and wanted to stop for a Sunday roast, I googled pubs and found the seven stars looked at their menu and photos and decided to look a table, It was easy booking email confirmation and txt to check you were still coming the day before The staff were very attentive and polite the choice of Sunday roast was beef or pork with seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire pudding on both roast, the service was quick and food was excellent I would definitely recommend it Thank you"

"I stopped by this restaurant while working nearby, planning to just grab a bacon sandwich. However, after seeing the cozy interior and enticing menu, I opted for a full breakfast instead. For only £6, I received bacon, sausage, chips, egg, beans, and a cup of tea - what a great deal! The meal was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be coming back next week."

"The evening was totally spoilt by the service. Arriving at 7.20 for our 7.30 table we waited an hour for three starters our party was for 7 people. 25 minutes later we are told our mains would arrive in 5 minutes, 35 minutes later the waiter came and told us that they had run out of chips! Absolutely unacceptable. We had been there over two hours and 5 of us had not eaten anything now being told that they had run out of , what should be staple item on any menu is unbelievable. We paid our bar bill and left. Unfortunately we would not go back ,nor recommend to anyone else. Our party had met from different areas for a pre Christmas meal so it was a big disappointment."

"Great quality Italian Meal with very friendly staff and great value for money. Complimentary doughballs and olives to start followed by plentiful Monkfish and a delicious tortellini, washed down with half a carafe of white wine. Just to cap it off, the cheeseboard was amazing for £5.80, with 4 cheeses plentiful for 3 people let alone one and came with a complimentary glass of port. We have never had a cheeseboard for such a great value anywhere else. We will definitely return."

"Afternoon Tea was booked by my wife as a surprise for my birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Dedicated quiet area for Afternoon Tea, shown to table, waitress Sandra was so lovely, very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Asked if sandwiches could be free from mayonnaise, no problem at all, lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches brought out, scones were absolutely delicious. Nice touch was small carafe of water with lemon brought to table as well. Endless tea and coffee on request, would definately recommend and would love to go back."

"Perfect New Years Hot Pot Delivery I’ve never been to Dentons Deli before and saw them advertising Cottams hot pot delivered baked to your door on New Years Eve ... well that seemed like an opportunity too good to be true for a busy mum of 4.. I was worried it might not turn up as if never used them before but thought I would risk it rather than dragging the kids out of bed and queuing for hotpot and I needn’t have worried at all ... "The space is limited but it adds to te vibrancy of the cafe. Well supported by regulars, a good sign in itself, the cooked breakfasts are very good and I see my semi professional cricket friends piling in for a treat that they do not prepare for themselves. "Haven’t been in a while due to Covid, but found that, if anything, the food is even better than we remembered! The salmon quiche was superb with a wonderful flaky crust, while hubby’s pulled BBQ pork sandwich was wolfed down before I could grab a taste he said it was delicious. Both came with lovely crispy skinny fries, salad and slaw. Had to have dessert too because they looked amazing, and they didn’t disappoint! Nice coffee too. Not to mention that the owner is friendly and a great hostess. Has got to be the best place for lunch and dessert in Bourne!"

"Just enjoyed a breakfast here it was lovely, I had a veggie one and my wife had the traditional one, very tasty. Nice and cosy inside and the lighting and decor was nice. Cakes looked delicious but didn't try one today! The only one negative for me was the cup of tea I had, I don't think it was made with filtered water as it had a bit of an aftertaste of unfiltered water and I do like my tea to be spot on but apart from that everything else was great. Friendly staff and great service, nice view from upstairs too. Vegetarian options: Lovely veggie breakfast"

"He ordered the Moving Mountains burger with the Philly topping and enjoyed it, along with the chips that came with it. I opted for the sosage, mash, peas, and gravy, but found it to be the blandest meal I've ever had, despite my love for mash. I ended up giving the rest to my friend, who also found it tasteless. The prices were quite high at £15 for the burger and £14 for the sosage and mash, and we both felt it was overpriced. However, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly.
