"We decided to have Sunday lunch at the Red Lion at Hunningham this weekend. Situated in the countryside near a narrow bridge with a lovely stream. Sadly it was pouring down with rain and very windy. The interior was lovely and warm, cosy and bright. The styling is wonderful and the separate areas allow you to choose what suits you best. The middle area had a TV screen (sadly I dislike TVs when Im out eating). We were seated in the side area which was better for us. I had a few issues with the glasses of red wine but the staff were helpful and professional and I enjoyed the final glass thankfully. My friend enjoyed her white pinot grigio wine. We ordered the chicken and the beef. WOW what a lovely plate full of food. Must have been my unlucky day mine was tepid on arrival. Again the staff were helpful and professional and the issue was swiftly resolved. The food was lovely. Strangely I really enjoyed the way they cooked the cabbage. It gave it a really great flavour and texture. The roast potatoes and parsnip were crunchy and tasty. Honestly we normally go to the Stag at Offchurch (no longer running) this was better. Only improvement in my opinion is the gravy. However I could have upgraded, for a price, to the red wine jus. Great interior, staff, wine and food. Looking forward to returning Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roasted Half Chicken, Roast Beef Sunday Roast Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot"

"I absolutely love the pizzas at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying the sweet and creamy pizza. The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is incredible. Definitely worth a visit. Price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5."

"Unfortunately our recent visit will be the last. While they advertise “Dog friendly” they’re unhappy for you to have your pet on your own lap anywhere other than their cold (or burning hot) slate floor. The lady approached to say we weren’t allowed our small dog on a chair or lap, in a very Stand off-ish manner and wasn’t open to discussing this as she walked away after saying her part. She later came to apologise and while this was appreciated there was no sense of cooperation. They have a poster of the Dog Rules yet nowhere does it state this. The flooring is also either freezing when out of the sun, or boiling hot when in the direct sunlight from the windows as it’s black slate. While I understand and respect that larger dogs should not be sat on chairs or laps, I don’t agree with small dogs being forced to stay on the floor in a busy cafe where they won’t be seen by people walking by who stand on them and/or kick them passing by. I have seen multiple dogs sustain injuries from being stood on or kicked unintentionally in cafes that adopt this policy, and was nearly done so by the waitress as she didn’t see our dog and nearly kicked him. I strongly think you need to reconsider calling yourself a “Dog friendly” establishment if you have no interest of the welfare of dogs."

"I would not recommend going back to this restaurant. The service was terrible. Despite a banner outside advertising a vegan menu, when we inquired about it we were met with disdain. The restaurant is marketed as a "health bar," so one would expect vegan options, but we decided to order anyway. I ordered a falafel wrap, which was of good quality, while my partner requested a jacket potato without cheese or butter. My dad ordered a full English breakfast, and my grandad ordered a chicken wrap. The person taking our orders, who I assume is the owner, struggled to listen to our entire order and had to take each item separately, making us feel like a burden. The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was brought out at different times. Despite multiple requests for the jacket potato to be served without cheese and butter, it still arrived with both toppings. The staff apologized, but we had to wait for a new jacket potato, by which time everyone else had finished their meals. Additionally, the cutlery on the tables was dirty, and we had to get up to replace it ourselves without receiving an apology. It's unfortunate, but it seems like this place is being run by inexperienced staff who lack hospitality skills and do not care about their customers."

"We thought we would try this cosy pub for a Sunday Roast and we were not disappointed, very warm and cheerful atmosphere when you walk in, dog friendly which we didn,t mind. The staff are very friendly and attentive although could probably do with more staff for Sunday lunch run. We were greeted by staff who were very passionate about working in that pub and can happily say this pub takes great pride in the food they produce. We had a choice of Chicken, beef, pork or fish as a roast option. We went for chicken roast options along with cauliflour cheese and the food was very tasty and very generous portion sizes. Absolutely superb. Only suggestion is maybe add a vegetarian roast option to the menu. Price wise it is a little on the steep side but we would happily pay the money for high quality food that is produced in this pub. But definitely one of the best Sunday roasts we have had in a very long time. Would highly recommend."

"We've literally just returned home from Mother's Day lunch! I discovered this restaurant with a cream tea treat back in the Summer and was so impressed then that I decided to book lunch for today. What a treat! Everything and I mean everything was first class: The table layout, lighting, ambience, space and comfort. The service friendly without being intrusive and on point. The toilets with upmarket toiletries The food! We knew as soon as the plates came out hot! .. and presented beautifully that it would laste good. Why don't more places recognise that we enjoy with our eyes before anything else? All of our Sunday roasts were delicious proper crispy potatoes, crispy yorkshires with piping hot gravy (and I don't even like Yorkshires) a selection of interesting and flavourful veg, tender chicken and perfectly cooked lamb and beef. Glorious puddings for another serving of the rhubarb bread and butter pudding with vanilla custard, I would probably marry the chef. Well done Tottington Manor to the whole team we family of four with tiny baby in tow, adored you! One request please don't go all uber posh and start serving weird food like 10 course taster menus with strange names and getting stars and charging mad prices!"

"Food was lovely and totally different . Had spice but it complemented the dish rather than take away from it. Def will be going back. Staff friendly. Vegetarian options: A lot of choice for vegetarians. Even fussy ones like me Parking: Very small car park opposite the restaurant but if there is pilgrimage at st Winifred’s well no hope of parking. Service: Dine in"

"I was staying at a local hotel and the pub next door to the hotel wasn't serving food, so I took a wander into town. This was my first visit to the town of Nantwich and what a charming place full of lovely old buildings. I stumbled across The Vine and was delighted to see a range of real ales which were well kept and very drinkable. I got chatting to some locals whilst I was waiting for my food to arrive and was made to feel very welcome. When the food arrived (Steak Mushroom and local ale pie) it was pipng hot, with well cooked vegetables. None of your over microwaved stuff here and the pie was delicious. It's a lovely old building, with lots of space and character and if I return to Nantwich again, I will definitely visit The Vine again."

"**Dine-In Experience Meal Type:** Dinner **Cost per Person:** £100+ **Food Rating:** 4/5 **Service Rating:** 4/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 3/5 Overall, I had a pleasant evening at the restaurant. The food was quite good, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The service was also commendable, matching that score. However, the atmosphere felt a bit lacking, which is why it's rated a 3. While I enjoyed my meal, the ambiance could use some improvement to enhance the overall dining experience."

"I had one of the worst pasties I've ever eaten. It was missing swede and onion, had overcooked meat, and was way too peppery without any salt. After a lovely walk on the moors with friends, I expected a satisfying meal to end the day, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. I thought this place would be a reliable choice for those who enjoy good food, but I was mistaken. I'm truly sorry to say this."

"so it was freshly made donuts who brought us here. they had advertised on facebook that these were made today so that their impulse purchases. the selection included lemon cucumber, chocolate, celestial (with a real celestial on every doughnut,) strawberry (with a piece of real strawberry) and one with a wedge of honeycomb. they are safe a premium product, top price at 2.8 per or 6 for 15. I have 6. They tasted very good, but not worries. I also have a flat white coffee that was ace 2.7). I was glad to try them, yes, I would buy them again, no, as they are to trust pricy. if I want to do a donut, he will be in the Shelbourne bakery around the corner, their donuts have a lighter texture, they have more taste and are less than half the price. I have no doubt that the finegan son donut is a small charge, better quality donut with more expensive ingredients, but not it worth over double price."

"I was pleased to find out they had soup, although I was initially disappointed that it was vegetable soup. However, the soup was actually very good. It came with delicious rye bread and white baguette, nice unsalted butter, and was thick and flavorful with big chunks of broccoli and cauliflower, topped with a drizzle of herby garlicky oil. Everyone around me seemed to enjoy their meals as well, with the only complaint being that there was too much food! The only downside was that the lady behind the bar seemed a bit abrupt and unfriendly, although she was efficient and prompt. This may not be the best choice for vegans or vegetarians, or for those expecting trendy ingredients on the menu or a hipster server. However, if you appreciate well-done old-fashioned fare, I recommend giving this place a try. You don't have to be old to enjoy classic dishes!"

"Came here the other day with two of my mates. As soon as we walked through the doo we could tell that this place wouldn’t be up to much, but we have it a chance. We walked in and the bartender just stared at us, not even greeting us. We sat down and then we had to go up to the bar to even get a menu. The menu had to be the most run down thing I had ever seen (apart from the actual pub) the menu was limited and was just a laminated piece of paper which was ruined. After a while we got served, the woman who served us was extremely rude all she said was “what do you want for food” in a horrible tone not even offering us drinks so we had the food with not drinks, so we went up to the bar to order drinks, the girl who served us drinks was lovely but the other woman was horrible. The food was average (gammon was more salty than the sea) the pub itself was run down and the service was awful. Wouldn’t recommend"

"The seating area is quite small, but most customers prefer to take their food to enjoy it at the office, so this isn’t a major issue. The service is very fast, which is crucial during the busy lunch hours. The Moroccan chicken dish is priced at £7, and I believe it’s worth it, although it might not be the best option if you're really hungry. The rice is a bit overpriced but tastes amazing. The lemonade seems fresh and is quite delicious. The staff is friendly and very helpful if you're unsure about what to order. Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick, relatively affordable, and healthy meal. I do wish they still offered the Persian chicken dish, even though it wasn't particularly Persian, but it tasted pretty good!"

"I was highly recommended to use for my mums wake. She catered for all our needs. She went above beyond with everything. She sorted everything out including cutlery glasses for the day. Her food was just incredible, so many people said to me the food was lovely. Her cakes were out of this world Very reasonably price. Thank you so much Emma. You are a star amazing. Certainly have my mums Victoria sandwich cake a run for her money. Thank you just isn’t enough for what you delivered."

"I love the food in Victoria Inn. Praise the chef! Whenever we visit it's always flavoursome. There is always something delicious in the menu and staff is ever so profesional and friendly. Our last Saturday visit for lunch certainly wasn't a disappointment either. Amazing battered soft shell crab as a special of the day was perfect and both our mains: butternut squash agnolotti and fried seabass were as good as the starter. Definitely worth poppin in if you are in the area, either for a quick drink, bite or a nice catch up with friends over some lunch."
