"Came here the other day with two of my mates. As soon as we walked through the doo we could tell that this place wouldn’t be up to much, but we have it a chance. We walked in and the bartender just stared at us, not even greeting us. We sat down and then we had to go up to the bar to even get a menu. The menu had to be the most run down thing I had ever seen (apart from the actual pub) the menu was limited and was just a laminated piece of paper which was ruined. After a while we got served, the woman who served us was extremely rude all she said was “what do you want for food” in a horrible tone not even offering us drinks so we had the food with not drinks, so we went up to the bar to order drinks, the girl who served us drinks was lovely but the other woman was horrible. The food was average (gammon was more salty than the sea) the pub itself was run down and the service was awful. Wouldn’t recommend"

Today, my husband, son, and I had a meal at this restaurant. I have a milk allergy, so I asked if the veggie burger contained milk. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that there was no milk in the burger. They even took a photo of the ingredients for me to double-check. The food was extremely delicious, the staff was very friendly, and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back.
