"We order from the canton Wiwo at least once a month and have always found the food delicious and the staff friendly. We decided to try the City Centre shop last week what a mistake that was! Our food took over 2 hours to arrive but with it being a Friday night we let that slide. While we were waiting a Adriana phoned and I quote said ‘You wanted chilli chips, no’ after some questioning we realised that a sleeping sounding Adriana was trying to tell us that they had run out of chips. She did however offer to change the order to rice and said she would add a bottle of coke due to us paying extra for the chips, we agreed that this was fine and thanked her for the heads up. When the food arrived (without the promised drink) it was stone cold but we were so hungry by then we tucked straight in. The Katsu chicken was burnt and the rice was gooey and over cooked, both totally inedible. Our saving grace was the fact that we ordered satay chicken scewers as sides. We opened the chicken and after dipping one into the sauce my partner stopped me from eating it. He had realised that they had replaced the peanut sauce with a pot of mayonnaise instead (I’m not allowed to eat mayo due to a health condition). This was alarming so we phoned the shop straight away to discuss all issues above. The still sleepy Adriana admitted to adding Mayo instead of the usual peanut sauce because they had run out. I explained that this was disappointing as she had already phoned us to say they didn’t have any chips and asked why she hadn’t mentioned this so we could alter our order, to which she replied ‘don’t know’. We again mentioned all of our other issues including the fact that the food was totally inedible and Adriana asked ‘What do you want me to do?’ I suggested a refund as they were unable to fulfil the order we had placed. She agreed and said she would pass our details onto her manager. I asked when we would receive the refund and she said up to 5 working days. Skip to today (5 working days later). I call to ask about our refund only to be greeted by the rudest girl I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. She told me I’d have to call back to talk to that specific girl at a time that was inconvenient to me. I explained that my issue was with the company rather than a specific member of staff so I just wanted an update on the refund. She refused to listen to my request and talked over me. I asked her name and she refused to give it to me so I asked for her managers contact details which she also refused to give to me. Then she had the audacity to say ‘you’re not getting your refund so what are you going to do about it?’ And put the phone down! Although it was inconvenient I later called the store again and thankfully the cal was answered by Adriana. I explained I was calling about the refund that she had promised the previous week and she handed the phone to yet another college. This girl said that she had been filled in and that they were going to refund £5 of the order. I obviously voiced that this was unacceptable as the whole order was inedible. She asked why I hadn’t sent it back to be replaced. I explained that we had already waited 2 hours for our cold order, it had already come back wrong and also that this wasn’t given to me as an option. We were simply asked, what do you want me to do about it? The girl said sorry but my manager has spoken to the chef and we can only give you £5 back. End of story basically, absolutely shocking!"

"we noticed this beautiful little restaurant after we recently moved to the local opposite and visited last night. we were welcomed by 2 very friendly servers and our selection of tables offered. there is so much to choose without overwhelming the menu. Finally we decided to share the special mixed tempura (prawns, avocado, sweet potato and aubergine deep roasted in a delicious thick teig) and takoyaki (battered octopus balls in yaki sauce with mayo) both appetitzüglers were delicious, but the takoyaki was from this world and I could eat it all day! we both knew that we wanted to ramen, as we had heard, that in contrast to many other Leeds-based restaurants, the ramen here comes with their choice of suppen base; gay, misto, shioyo or cheese and gays and they can also choose which nudels they want; thick udon, thin beech or classic thin egg noodles. we have both settled on the senbon Sakura rays with a squacy soup and rosm noodles – the rug was out of this world, full of tasty grilled hues, frying, salmon, queen roasts and a huge clam. it also comes with nori, a soy marinated egg, early baptism, sesame and wakame seeweed, bohnensprossen and sweet mais. so delicious! after a few bites my man proudly declared that this was his new favorite restaurant in leeds and I agree! the restaurant itself has a really casual and quite traditional Japanese vibe, naked wooden and chairs without kitschige gimmicks and plays really cool, jolly Japanese music. the service was super friendly and fast, we were regularly checked and the dishes were quickly deleted. for 2 nets, 2 starters and 2 drinks, the bill came to £35, which amazing! note that they have no alcohol license yet, but have a good choice of softdrinks and tees. I also look forward to eating and breakfast in the future."

"Bland food and very overpriced, ribs ok, squid was flubbery but fresh, the tacos with salmon mix and mayo were grim only eatable after adding chilli sauce too, and two for 11 quid was a joke. Sake OK and had a beer. , 65 quid for one, is not good, won't return. If you think One bottle 70cl of Sake for 18 x 4 is fair! Come on 72 quid... , indicative of food price... ! I went to you twice, as I was hungry..., re. the Chinese next door they may have been ok, but after finishing one pint and there not being internet, I asked them for your password, I needed to go. I also asked if they had started to cook my food at which point they said no. I paid them for beer and said, I would return. The fact, there did not seem to be much cooking going on was a red flag to me and I did not have time. Your concept is ok, but a bit of drift wood in comparison to London and it's my fault to draw comparisons, and I did give it a second chance but simply put it's not very good. Seems you have a bee in your bonnet, re. Chinese food and cutting and pasting recurring theme, Only just started reviewing items. Please don't make comparison between a Chinese directly next to your abode that may be ok, and fact you are trying the London street food tribe here in Blackpool, which I wish you luck with, but having seen it and spending money with you on separate occasions please have the grace to say thank you and good bye. Else to many perhaps you may look a bit tribal and bitter. Good luck."
