"Zizzi is generally good. We've been to several around London, however this experience was the worst of any restaurants I have ever encountered.Needless to say, a Mother's Day booking would be busy, and being reasonable we expect food to take a little longer.Zizzi Surbiton wasn't prepared for just how busy it would be, or their staff and team were not well trained enough to understand how to deliver good customer service when many tables are waiting for food.When we started to ask the waiter on what was happening, we didn't get much response back apart from they are trying their best. The food was served after we sat down. We were not offered any complimentary snacks or drinks, we were just told to wait. We ended up eating some of the mothers day chocolates that was a gift to my mother, because we were hungry!We asked to speak to the manager, since the waiter couldn't make decisions, and the manager never showed up to speak to us. When the food came, it was the poorest quality food I have ever had at a Zizzi. I'm afraid to say, the overall experience was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. Not to be repeated"
