"No complaints from me! The food was delicious and importantly it was nice and hot. I used to be a chef in a 5 Marriott hotel and I enjoyed the meal. These are just some constructive comments for you to consider: Just a tiny little bit of greenery in the form of some salad leaves etc, served with the calamari would be a beautiful touch. The calamari itself was wonderful but… Very ”same-ish” and repetitive. Just break it up a bit with something else (a tiny amount) on the plate. It’s an 8 starter approx and you can do that without massively denting your margins. the seabass main dish that we both had… We thought was fantastic… So well done to chef Luke! Personally, I also appreciate the generous touch of providing me with a few more potatoes. I am a one diabetic and I know when I looked at the plate having injected, the very small amount of potatoes that were originally provided would not be enough for me…. So again I appreciate our lovely waitress Liga and Chef Luke combining to bring a more normal portion of the same potato dish so that I could eat it with my meal. Finally we were first seated in a booth… But unfortunately this was right underneath one of the speakers that played music. I asked the first waitress that had seated us if the music could be turned down. She told me that unfortunately she had no control over the music level. I think this needs to be changed as in the end we had to be moved… Music should be distinctly in the background and not invading your meal experience.It was too loud and also in my opinion not gentle but way too lively… We had come for a meal not to a nightclub! These are just constructive feedback points that I hope you will take in the spirit that they are intended. Our waitress was Liga. Now she is an absolute asset to your company… she went out of her way to accommodate us helped us to move tables when the music was too loud and sourced the extra potatoes for me for my main course. What I liked about Lea was that she treated us like individuals… Not just a number. She was personable and professional throughout a great ambassador for Zizzi And she deserves to be recognised for this. She made the meal experience the best it could be. Thanks Liga from Latvia The food tasted great. I’ve only given three stars rating to the atmosphere as the music didn’t help and there was I think only two other tables in the whole restaurant with us so it was a neutral atmosphere during that time. "I was on the phone explaining what I wanted for 10 minutes, was simple what I asked for chicken goujon and chips with cheese. They gave me a massive tray of chips, and massive chips with cheese and goujions, came fast,had a couple of bites and was very sick all night, couldn't stop throwing up. but they robbed me £12.50, if they just listen to my order properly, instead of making there own orders! Now I'm left with not much money, single person. Hope your happy, money grabbing people."

"Would give this place no stars if I could. I used to always order from this place no issues. Ordered today and my pizza was over done and hard and my chips were burnt. I called them and explained that my food is over done hard and burnt (photo attached) I expected a sorry and not a issue we will get another pizza out to you. Instead the lady argued with me put me on hold came back and said we have changed our cheese so all our pizzas are burnt today it’s a extra crispy style as we changed the cheese then said ‘ well what do you want me to do about it?’ After going back and fourth she said give us the food back and we will refund you the money. I told her me and my partner came back from work tired waited an hour so have had some of the pizza (2 slices each) as we were so hungry! She said that’s fine. Her delivery driver came then argued with me again and said what do you want? After again disputing he took the food. THEN she proceeded to call me on unknown at 9pm to Argue about a pizza again! Oh my god. The food at this place hasn’t even been too bad before but the way they handled this and the customer service is SHOCKING. Accept fault and rectify it not argue with your customers and say we changed our cheese our customers like a crispy extra done style. The food hasn’t even bothered us too much. It’s the fact I’ve had to debate with them over a pizza. Very poor customer service honestly don’t even bother with the way they call people looking for an argument over their own error. No people do not like Extra crispy burnt pizzas. If I’m paying and waiting then getting burnt food then having to re order and wait again then apologise and give me my money back without the lip! "Been coming here for years on and off, thought I'd leave a review this time as the experience the last few times hasn't been amazing. I've not tried the other foods but we always get a carvery. One of the chefs was a bit stressed and gave a bit of attitude today and we had a slight wait to get served. But he gave us a good portion of meat and there was good option of veg available. The food is generally pretty good value and good. But the worst thing recently is loud kids with blaring tablets and phones. Lots of parents don't seem to care that their children are making other people's meals uncomfortable and annoying. There's no excuse not to have headphones, or just bring something to read or draw on! Today there were a few young kids bouncing a ball around and kicking it too by our table, the same time kids screaming and playing different tablets really loudly. I think the venue needs to be a bit stricter on this as it ruins it for others. Or maybe put families and those without kids in different areas? The staff didn't do anything but it's awkward for them, the parents need to be a bit more thoughtful. Won't be in a rush to go back this time if I'm honest."

"Unless my memory is failing me, they have added white marble tops to their tables since our last visit last year, giving the whole place that higher class bistro feel than before. Sadly the experience this time was not as pleasant as last time, for two reasons. Firstly and most importantly, the food. Unlike last time, I ordered a top of their range 12 inch thin crust pizza at a huge price of £13. I expected a lot from this for that money but it fell well short. It looked great and was very tasty....BUT the actual filling was measly in quantity and once again the chef had been far too enthusiastic with the olive oil as he had been with the fish dish that I had had at our last visit. The whole top positively glistened in the light and there were pools of oil around the edges where the filling met the crusty edge of the pastry. It was a big let down and not as a pizza in my opinion should be. My wifes dish of spaghetti carbonara although very tasty was pronounced rather dry and claggy. It was also very rich for her taste but that of course is her subjective opinion. Secondly, and I stress that this is not the restaurants fault, there was an empty table for 5 next to us. Half way through the meal it became occupied by 5 fairly well 'oiled ' middle aged ladies celebrating a birthday. The fact that they all had to talk, sorry, shout to each other at the same time raised the volume to a pitch where neither I nor my wife could carry on a conversation. We had to finish our meal and leave earlier than we would have liked, missing out on a sweet course. There ya go, that is life"

"I found this restaurant randomly on groupon and am so glad that I did it! the service was great (the couple that served us, I think were probably the owners, were nice), the eating was amazing and the restaurant looks beautiful. we had a three-fold meal. my bruschetta was to die (and my man said the same thing about his mushrooms with garlic), the four cheese pizza was delicious and the ice was really delicious. to be honest, I would give it more stars if it were possible! will definitely go back, it has already personally recommended it to several of my friends. very impressed."

"It is my first time in this Frankie&Bennys but I have been many times in other ones. I came with my partner to have dinner and we were totally disappointed with the service given. The waitress a young lady, brunette and short hair took the wrong order. We wanted to have all the food together and not starters and mains as we had a cinema date.We got the starters, (never asked it they were ok) and when we got the mains (after waiting for a while) they were completely wrong and poorly presented. it was 2 carbonara, 1 with extra mushrooms and 1 w chicken and nduja sausage . We got the pasta without any bacon at all and we were like, where is the bacon? The waitress passed our order totally wrong to the kitchen, no bacon and chicken and mushrooms instead. We were offered for fresh new ones instead and this also took a long time to arrive. They came again the second time wrong, my partners pasta had no sausage this time. After being told they did it in. I asked the manager to have a closer look and once he did he agreed there was no nduja. At this point we decided to just eat as we were already too late for our cinema booking. The service overall was shocking. The waitress and waiter seemed they didn’t care at all about the job and the customers. No check backs on food even after the issues were raised. They never asked if we wanted more drinks! Definitely really poor customer service and they never tried to make it better. My advice to the GM of these place, get ride of these staff who make the brand Frankie&Bennys a really bad place to eat. They never gave us any discount or apology or tried to give us a sweet to forget the nightmare. I’ll def not coming back to this restaurant anymore!"

"I've never felt so upset leaving a restaurant. And over something so stupid. I ordered a sandwich for myself and asked for a sandwich for a friend who couldn't eat dairy. Her sandwich arrived and it clearly had cheese in it. The waiter had misunderstood and thought I said vegetarian rather than non dairy. An honest mistake and not a problem, I paid for both sandwiches and simply asked for another sandwich that was dairy free, which I offered to pay for. "For me ticks all the right boxes. Very spacious with hip decor, freshly brewed beer on draft alongside an excellent selection of beers from elsewhere (mainly the UK , quality pizza made in house at a good price, nice choice of background music. Perhaps the staff could do with being a bit more chatty/extrovert as is usual in Glasgow (does somewhere offer courses in “the patter”? . Anyway this doesn’t matter as they are both attentive, efficient and friendly enough which is the main thing as far as I’m concerned. Oh and the smell of actual beer brewing in the place is nice! All in all a great place for the beer lover. Keep doing what you’re doing."

"GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF GREAT VIEW! We were made welcome from the moment we called to book a table. The restaurant is modern, bright, fresh and clean. The menu has an excellent variety of options which include Pizza, pasta, fish, salads, steaks, chicken, a specials board, and children's meals all reasonably priced. We chose the fish and chips, Alfonso pasta and BBQ chicken. All the meals were very tasty, presented nicely, were very fresh and the chips were particularly nice. After our meal our eyes naturally wandered to the desert menu. Usually at this point, the independent restaurants let themselves down by offering an appealing variety of deserts but which too often taste bland and are served frozen in the middle. I must be honest that when i saw the limited three options available here and a picture of a sad looking chocolate cake with a lonely blob of ice cream on the menu, i was not expecting any surprises. I was so wrong! We chose the cheese cake of the day which was Chocolate indulgence and oh boy was it delicious (see pic). It was nicely presented and not frozen and so this finished our meal off beautifully. In all we had a relaxed and pleasant meal made all the better by the nice, friendly and fun staff who went out of their way to make us and the other diners comfortable and feel like valued customers. One more thing I mustn't forget to mention is the superior view of the whole of Filey bay and the coast towards Flamborough Head. I can very highly recommend this lovely and perfectly located place to have your meal."

"My partner and I enjoyed pizza and desserts on a Saturday evening. He had the Sam Gamgee (mushroom) and I had a Hawaiian with mushrooms. The pizzas are a generous size. We hadn't eaten lunch so we managed a whole pizza each, but I wasn't surprised to see others taking leftovers home. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are. Perfectly cooked in a stone pizza oven, which is also fun to watch from your table. The atmosphere was relaxed, cosy and comfortable. The service was excellent. We had a waffle and an affogato for dessert which was also lovely. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. We were staying near Trelogan but couldn't anywhere else in the area that did proper stonebaked pizza. Alexander's was exactly what we were looking for. We'll be recommending it in the guest book at the Airbnb we're staying in."

"Sometimes it's never good to go reminisce. I haven't been in a pizza hut in a few years, used to go as a family, this time just my friend and I. I ordered a lunch buffet with refillable drink and ice cream. I was happy with mine, and my pizza was fresh... I ate a lot, five different slices, as well as a salad bowl, drink and a bowl of ice cream which cost £19.99 For children, the buffet is a lot cheaper, it is definitely good value for money. Do remember, children (well boys) are bottomless with how much food they can eat. My friend ordered chips, wasn't happy with the overall taste and left most of them, but the waiter didn't seem to care. She also had macaroni cheese, which she stated was very nice and a pepsi. Her food was more expensive than mine though. Would I do a pizza hut again, probably not"

I would of gladly paid because the food is amazing!! ... there was a pasta meal missing and I thought they is no way I can ring and say you have forgotten something, there was enough food to go around anyway. "This is open until 8pm on at least some nights. Impulse visit as window display tempting. Treacle tart and cheese scone delicious. Staff member welcoming and chatty.
