"We were limited at eating at many of the 200+ vegetarian restaurants in London due to the ultra high prices. Yet we did get to half a dozen uninspiring places. Then there was Super Singh's. Due to the combination of the pricing at the restaurant and our hunger for GREAT food, the cashier in typical Indian logic requested we get not so much food as we could never finish it. The 3.5 of us ended up ordering 6 meals plus a pizza through out the night. Most went to our bellies, some went for take out. The next day we did the same thing. For 3 straight days we were filled with delicious food that we could not find in Italy, Switzerland, France and especially England. (Germany did have a wonderful place to eat) Super Singh's mostly serves comfort food. French fries with toppings on them. Seitain wraps and pizza. They could improve on the pizza. The crust was great, but the sauce was off. Everything else was INCREDIBLE. As for the reason why the food is so incredible, it became obvious once speaking to the owner/chef. He absolutely poors his heart and love into this. Rarely do you get to meet someone so genuine. As for the lady who suggested that she was treated rudely. I have lived in India for many years. They are a logic based society and have their own way of approaching business. They are not always the most gracious of people inside of business, including service based businesses such as restaurants. Outsiders of their culture, often times view them as rude,myself included. It is not their intentions. If you can get past the first level of rudeness and talk to them for a moment, they will quickly open up to you as family. That happens in only a matter of moments. Enjoy the food here. It is comparatively incredibly inexpensive and perhaps the best tasting food in all of Europe. Just be sure to exercise afterwards!"

"Been here a few times but not in a long while, still the same set up. Staff very friendly, very engaging and made the experience lovely in general. Explained also offered they had which also are marked clearly on menu. I opted for the smaller lunch offer which was absolutely lovely, sun-dried gave it an extra kick and therefore pleasant on the palate. Pizza was flavoursome, warm and hit the spot. No desserts this time as I was with someone with a nut allergy but we both had enough to eat anyway. Hopefully not as long next time for my return here."

"Lovely looking pub and decor suggests it would serve decent food-very wrong. When we went to order the first thing they said was a list of pub foods they didn’t have from the very short menu. The menu was very old fashioned and ‘normal’, the food served was even less impressive. They charge the prices for food that an up market pub would but quality of a school canteen. The meat portions were large but under-cooked, despite us asking for ‘well done’. A gammon steak came with a mountain of cheap, dried up peas and chips, no garnish or presentation. The burgers had no garnish, as the photos on here show and certainly did not look like their advertisement. Their excuse was “we are in transition from 1 menu tip another, so running stocks down”. They had no eggs, chilli and various other staples you may expect. Why would you “run down” stocks just because of a menu change? I have never encountered this before. Such a shame. The pub/restaurant itself could be thriving, despite being in a village,if the owners wanted it to succeed. Good quality at reasonable prices attracts custom. Most definitely will not return."

"My first experience at this restaurant after the change in management was a pleasant one. The new owners were very nice and welcoming, and the pizza has improved significantly. While the place could use a renovation, I understand that they have just started and I am willing to give them time to make improvements. I would definitely return for the pizza. Overall, for dinner, the price per person ranges from £10-20. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4."

"Not sure what the deal is but..... Shot bald owner has zero people skills, not even a thank you. Last two pizzas gave me bad diarrhea. Pizza before those didn't have all the veg toppings. Shame but what can you expect when you pay kids 4 dollars an hour. Guess we will have to drive half an hour to get a pie from now on. Get it together or die like the rest of town. Best of luck"

"Tonight’s offering is a “ dirty Dinos “.. the more traditional British fare. I ordered the large donner, chilli sauce, salad and garlic. This is, I find, the yardstick of every kebab retailer. The package arrived by a friendly delivery driver. The very smell took me back to Essex in my early 20s, to a certain nightclub where I met a young lady. After a trip to the local kebab shop she still managed, while holding a kebab in either hand to...... ahem. Apologies, I digress. A gentleman should never share secrets where a young lady has let her horses run free...back to the kebab. Unbelievably added to the order was a bonus cheesy garlic bread. We all love a freebie. On opening the tray a deep breath was inhaled. By the sight , you knew that this was a well put together masterpiece.. overflowing with meaty slices of heaven , the pitta is bursting at the seams. A correct portion of sauce was added, not too much, not too little. The salad is served on the side with a plethora of diced onions. I know I am in for a treat. I brace myself and my dripping maw meets the delicacy. This kebab bursts into my mouth , and my senses swim as if kissed by a tender mermaid. The meat is grilled to a turn, the chilli is spicy enough to create a “dab on” complimented by the garlic Mayo. And HELLO, what is this? A pickle served under the pitta to give correct sogginess. This is a stroke of genius. A gift from the gods. If I was a man who marked , this would receive a 4.5 skewers out of 5 rating.No one gets a 5 or who would strive for perfection? This is now my “go to” traditional British kebab shop."

"This place is the undisputed champion of Merstham!!! After and exhilarating walk. We stopped off for an early dinner treat. Our lovely waitress Beth, who is a massive asset to the company, served us with a calm, kind and knowledgeable attitude. Given that we had one coffee connoisseur and an Italian specialist in tow. My coffee a perfectly blended flat white was delicious and well rounded. The pizza bits were truly tasty, the sharing platter was balanced and flavourful and the salads were light and refreshing. The tiramisu was a little dense and could have done with the usual coffee liqueur, but the lemon cheesecake had depth a nice lemony tang all the way through. I’m not sure all the tips are going to the staff but I’d ask them before paying. All in all and exquisite experience thanks to the knowledge, quality and dedication to serve from brilliant Beth and the pizza chef"

"We always have good food and excellent service when we visit. We recently tried Pizza Night, well l can honestly say the pizzas were the best we have had. Try the chicken with BBQ sauce, the Greek salad was good, my hubby had a good beer, my latte was just as l like it and my 5yr old grandson was very impressed with the pizza. We must do this again. We live in Norfolk, but were visiting our daughter who regularly uses the Larder. Thank you Vas, see you soon."

"I ordered 2 vegan nutella tower cake (I white, nutella is not vegan the cake is just chocolate cake) and a vegan cheeseburger. After they had paid for eating with my card on their online site, they called me and said the cakes were not on camp. we just wanted the cake really, so we asked to cancel the order. I waited one because the refund is shown in my bank, but nothing. after almost 3 weeks I called pizzaholic. They said they know nothing and I should call feed me online that takes the payment. feed me online said they have no question for a refund. they contacted the restaurant that said they delivered the things. how can pizzaholic products not be stored? have they been supporting to show the delivery time? the extradition-driver-docket. do they have to say that they ran out of stock this evening? what did they actually deliver to me? Anyway, feed me online can only refund if the restaurant says that they. nothing they can do and nothing I can do to get my refund. I have contacted trade standards and left annoyed critikens what I can think of. I'll take care of the food I eat from pizzaholic. it seems it's probably not vegan. if they can work in this shameful way, then it may not be a problem for them to serve meat to vegan and vegetarian."

"Ordered two kebabs which arrived 40 minutes early, not good if you had plans in the mean time! Firstly the pitta was not grilled and the meat was just laid on top, not the best presentation. Also there must have been turbulence between the shop and our address because there was sauce splattered all around the bag in which it arrived in! We’ve had pizzas from here before which are faultless and will continue to get but in regards to kebabs we won’t be having them from here again!!"

"We've been visiting Bucklers Hard regularly since 2014 and in the first few years we really enjoyed lunches and evening meals in the bar at the Master Builders. We had some very memorable family lunches sat outside the bar overlooking Bucklers Hard village and waterfront. But over recent years we have been sad to observe a slow decline in food quality and service. We arrived today (Sunday about 11.30 hoping for a coffee and to stay on for lunch but there was no sign of anyone in the bar till midday. Then we were told that they were only serving barbecue food in the garden. Garden lovely. View beautiful. Food terrible. All they had on offer were burgers, nothing else, so burgers it was, one beef, one halloumi, £10 each. When we were called to collect them, we had to laugh or we would have cried. Presented so pathetically on a little cardboard tray burger, tomato and lettuce in a past its best brioche bun. And that was it! No fries. Nothing else. We felt totally ripped off. We can't even say that the service made up for it what service?! A cheery greeting and a smile would have helped. It's so sad, this used to be a great place. We definitely won't be back for a long time, and if we ever do consider a return visit we will definitely check TripAdvisor first (as we should have done this morning!"

"Starter was incorrect but I accepted it anyway as the young server guy looked embarrassed. Then my Main was given to another person in my party as the server said it was olives. This person took a bite and confirmed it was the wrong pizza so the server took it from her and gave it to me. A bite removed and teeth marks included. I asked for a discount and was told I would get it. Instead they remade my pizza, and then a different server told me it was the other customer's fault and the original server did not state olives, yet 15 people heard him do so. So finally got main 2 hours and 15mins after arriving when most of my party had finished eating. Totally tasteless. Most bland pizza ive had hence I asked if I wanted a box to take it home as I had left so much. The customer is apparently wrong. Wrong starter and charged full price waiting longer than anyone else after being served a bitten pizza?? Never again!!"

"First time ordering definitely my last. Probably the worst chicken tikka I’ve ever had, it was definitely not fresh the chicken was dry as a bone and all I could taste is cumin, the. Food colouring was everywhere it has dyed everything the chicken touched, the spiced onion were old had no crunch at all was basically onion jam, my daughters chicken kebab was swimming in sauce and I mean swimming I couldn’t see the actual kebab as it was so covered in sauce. Daughters burger was burnt the chips were undercooked, my partners lamb was tough as leather and swimming in grease. Wev just moved to a new house and this was the highest rated Indian in the area on Uber eats makes me wonder what’s wrong with peoples taste buds, wev had to bin everything as it’s honestly inedible, currently waiting on a mother India even though it’s a bit far away as I would rather warm up good food than eat garbage hot food, really disappointed as this cost almost £60"

"The menu at this restaurant is very flexible and caters to all tastes, including children. The paninis are large and delicious, as are the pastries. We accidentally left our phone there, and not only did they keep it safe, but they also made sure it was well charged for us. The service was extraordinary, with very helpful and friendly staff. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this restaurant."

"Warning! Be Careful of the Bald headed bouncer and a short fat bouncer and one with big ears. Bouncers assaulted me punched me in the face, whilst the other 2 held me back , damaging my teeth. Staff laughed at me when I complained about it, they dont care about customers. When the police arrived the bouncer who punched me hid inside possibly meaning staff inside have helped and the other bouncers denied him existing. I have contacted the police and will be pressing charges as I have multiple witnesses and am hoping the cameras pick it up. Shocking they dont have body cameras or a camera at the door... . This was my first and last attempt at enetering this disgusting place. They turned me away 26 and I am seeing people who are clearly underage walking out drunk at midnight. I suppose they have to make money somehow as no self respecting adult would attempt to enter a bar surrounded by children and scum. Get rid of this disgusting dingy old crackhouse and put something nice by the river. Owners should be ashamed."

"This was my first visit to The Radcliffe Arms and my Husband joined me, for a Christmas meet up, with a local group I'm involved in. It was nice to meet in person, in a relaxed atmosphere. Some people I'd only seen on Zoom before. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and drink. I had the vegan Spicy Koftas, with a Christmas Ruby Ale. He had the pizza of the month, which had fig and prosciutto on, with Lucky Saint non alcoholic beer, as he was driving. He found it delicious and commented on the difference a wood smoke oven made. As I like really spicy food I put chilli oil on mine. It came with pearl couscous, salad and olives and was quite filling. I declined a coffee, but my husband enjoyed his. All in all, a nice evening out."
