"a little overwhelming and overloading with that they're okay? I counted six as soon as I came in! at this place comes the main course on the table before the start so first on the table was the salmon teriyaki and the garnelen teriyaki the salmon was so fresh that it was as if it had just been caught! served with perfect Japanese rice and vegetables this was just delicious next to the table was the boiled sour sauce for dessert I ordered green tared ice, which was so unusual and at the same time just delicious! a very good meal and I...read more"

"I went to Albert’s castlefield yesterday, ordered the chicken. It came out incredibly dry and my friend ordered chips which weren’t cooked and were anaemic. No one came to our table to ask how the food was, only when we’d finished. I didn’t eat any of the chicken, I put some on my friends plate for her to try and she agreed. We spoke to a waitress at the end and she said ‘so sorry about that, is there anything you would like instead’ I said yes please il just have a dessert, sticky toffee pudding which was actually nice. When the bill came they’d put all the food on! I ended up speaking to what I’m guessing was the manager who said, I didn’t tell anyone at the time this was because no one came to the table to ask! she also stated I’d eaten my chicken, which me and my friend both stated to her I ate none of it! I put it on my friends plate for her to try which was evident on her plate. Eventually the manager took the dessert off the bill. I’ve been before and it’s never been like this such a shame. I was here few weeks ago and it was lovely. Completely disappointing"

"I usually associate the London Bridge area with the hordes that visit the food stalls on the weekend only but a visit to Borough Market one wet Saturday evening shows that the crowds haven't dissipated. My original plan of a visit to Brindisa is blown out the water (I'm far too hungry to wait for a table) and so we wander down to Feng Sushi. The interior is dark and atmospheric and looks warming on a cold winter's eve. There's a seasonal menu at play and while we've largely ordered from the main, we are tempted by the sesame tofu with mushroom sauce and it is fantastic. I would have appreciated some advice on how to eat it as we are confused by whether to use the sauce as a dip or a soup to soak the tofu in. The tofu is crunchy on the outside and firm on the inside and the sauce is more of a broth with mushrooms and mixed vegetables but nevertheless a tasty accompaniment. Our salmon sashimi is fresh, but does have some significant fatty stripes through it. It's a bit off putting. We've also got a mixed platter with salmon tuna sashimi, salmon tuna nigiri, mock duck in pancakes and vege tempura. Nothing out of the ordinary. We also had a soft shell crab roll, which again was only average. The crab was cold and clearly straight from the fridge and while it was assembled neatly, there was no aromatic flavours of the crab coming through. We ended the meal with a couple of scoops of ice cream chocolate with wasabi and black sesame. The wasabi overpowered the senses in the chocolate ice cream (as wasabi does) but the black sesame ice cream was sensational. Overall, I liked the food, but Feng Sushi commands a premium over the other sushi chains that I felt was undeserved. Itsu or Wasabi both do excellent and fresh sushi and sashimi at a lower price (if not quite the same ambience) and we left feeling a little unsatisfied. Perhaps I should have waited for my table of tapas after all."

"The restaurant was nice and the food was good. However there was one waitress who was not very pleasant with us. I think her name was Maria Claudia. We arrived at the restaurant mins before our booking and asked if we could be seated earlier. There was a guard who told us to go in and choose a table, but I wanted to check with the waitress first. I asked Maria Claudia, and she said, without checking anything and in an impolite manner, that they have reservations and cannot seat us before our reserved time. Although, the restaurant was completely empty except for two tables. That didn't bother us since we knew our booking was still mins away, and there could actually be reservations before us. however, we sat exactly opposite the restaurant and we could see the whole restaurant and tables. We waited mins, and during that time only one or two tables were used and the rest were all empty.Nonetheless we went in at our reserved time. After looking at the menu we had few questions for the waitress, so we called Maria Claudia. She seemed on edge as if she really does not want to answer our questions, she kept looking away and rolling here eyes. We asked her about an item in the menu if it can be swapped for something else, she replied "No I don't think so, that's what's on the menu", so I asked her you don't think so or are you sure? She then said I don't think we can do it. So I politely asked her to check with the chef, she agreed but never came back to inform us.We were then served by two other waitresses who were both very professional and nice"

"They have quite a few vegan/vegetarian options here, which is pretty great. Had one of the veg sushi sets (with vegetarian gyozas inside). It was pretty decently priced for the amount that you get, and considering sushi in other places would cost you probably twice or three times as much. The sushi pieces were okay, I guess. Nothing amazing, and not the worst sushi you will ever have. But avoid the gyozas! The skin is... not the best. Very, very tough and dry when I had it (doesn't help that they were cold as well) and it completely lacked flavour. Itsu is worth going only if it's after evening when they slash their prices down for their boxes, or if you fancy a quick, relatively cheap eat around the city. The place is pretty nice though, I'll have to say x"

"Superb, friendly service and a brigade performing at top level despite it being New Years day! Every dish perfectly executed and all courses fresh, flavoursome and both aesthetically and palate pleasing. Some really inspired cooking and perfectly balanced flavours for even the most jaded Christmas palate. Even the fries are cooked with love and are crisp and moreish. Such exciting dishes that dessert was swerved in favour of returning to the starters for scallops with a wowsering Hibiki Whisky Bacon Bon Bon. Cocktails are taken seriously here and are equally creative; this is no eatery just tipping its hat at mixology. Relax, enjoy the atmosphere and experience the fact this restaurant ‘does what it says on the tin’ it is most definitely’smokin’."

"I love Yo Sushi, but unfortunately this particular location doesn't always meet my expectations. The food is usually what you would expect from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but sometimes the options on the conveyor belt are not the best."

"This was my first time coming here and the reception was excellent, even helping with choosing a wine. Good service, excellent food and no delays. The atmosphere is cozy and depending on the type of table, you can choose between a more visible spot or something more secluded. The design is elegant, giving a sophisticated setting where you could easily lose track of time. The dishes are completely Portuguese but with a creative touch. I ordered the grilled octopus with white asparagus, sautéed potatoes and guacamole and it was heavenly! I highly recommend this place and I plan to come back for more!"

"From the moment we arrived I have to say the service was pretty terrible. It was a shame because they had contacted me via Instagram inviting me and my friends in for free pizza, we were really looking forward to it. We booked to watch the rugby too as the restaurant had advertised they were showing the games on the big screens. We arrived and we’re basically ignored for a while, I ended up approaching someone and saying I had a table booked. There were 2 of us there but we we’re waiting for another friends to arrive, the man out front strangely put us on a tiny table for 2 people, we said about how we have a third person coming but he didn’t seem bothered and told us he could move us when she arrived. This was very strange as they were barely busy, maybe 3 tables had people sat at. I also explained if we could be sat by a TV screen for the rugby. He didn’t asked for any details of my booking. We noticed a male customer asking for toilet paper for the men’s bathrooms. When my friend went to the bathroom she ended up coming straight out and asking for toilet paper. We waited 25 minutes while staff were just stood around or on their phones. I eventually went to check and still no toilet paper, we asked again. I looks like the man out from had to run to the corner shop to not only buy toilet roll but throughout the evening he could come back from Sainsbury's with cans of Guinness! The bathrooms were in a disgusting state, clearly not cleaned for a while. After sitting and waiting for some time for the rugby to come on I ended up asking if they’re putting it on. It was clear they couldn’t get the TV to work downstairs and the man said they’re only showing the last game which I just wish they told us before as our plan was to see both of the games. Meanwhile all of this is going on, we noticed the chef dinging the bell for food to be served from the hot plate and it being just sat there for 15 minutes. The chef ended up ringing the bell 3 or 4 times. I could go on really with how bad the service was. Put the bottle of wine down on the table didn’t offer to pour it, ignoring the telephone ringing all evening, we had to ask for everything (menus and for the table to be cleaned), not clearing tables….. There was 1 women who arrived to work later on in the evening who was slightly better. It’s a shame because the pizzas were good. When I looked at the reviews online it’s clear to say the reason they’re inviting so many people in is because of how bad it is. Step up your service and good luck to you"

"we had a great time in cru, my birthday contract, which was amazing eating, the personal was excellent and attentive, I loved the white wine, best I had, I like white and often have hardships to get a medium, not dry. that was delicious and really perfect for me. it was very cool in the restaurant, so was also comfortable for me as the temperature was unusually high outside. we will definitely come back and tell friends about it."

"Have been a few times, but this time felt the food wasn't quite up to what we remembered. It was tasty but lacking something, and quite expensive. For the price expected more. £5.50 for heritage tomatoes, I believe I could have bought them from the supermarket, little to no taste."

"I love the evaluation for this place that it simply summarizes as “quality of the sum of terrible. but it has at least the reason to be cheap.” I was more free. I was happy with my last outing, we were for a lunch for a bureau. dim t charlotte the road is located in a beautiful, modern environment. the al fresco seats would have been fantastic for the incoming afternoon rays. as pan-Asian restaurant has nothing on the menu much authenticity in taste, so they would forgive if they thought that this was not Asian dishes. I was the $9.25 tonpot chicken. the less desirable chicken breast is here the choice, and inclusions of dates, mushrooms, veges in an oyster and soy sauce. that means being in a traditional tonpot, but not actually in a traditional tonpot, let alone a modern tonpot. I enjoyed the court, not so much for a traditional taste, but as a competent iron frit. the use of huh was too safe and would have preferred a thicker, multi-layered taste level in the soße."
