Great food, great service, great feeling….everything was great! Kind people and a big attention to customers, I will surely come back!

Good selection of drinks, perfectly served and presented. Great menu and the food itself was lovely, one could tell it was from the finest ingredients. Particular mention should be made of the excellent waiter sorry don't know name.

Ok let's go for.... Visited the Princess of Shoreditch on Monday for lunchtime. The service was lovely and the person serving us was very helpful. The drink options were great but the real standout was the food. Some of the best food we have had in ages and felt Michelin star quality. Will definitely be returning and would 100% recommend.

This is definitely on the pricier side for a roast so if you're looking to save a bit of money, perhaps not here, but the actual roast was phenomenal. I wouldn't order the cauliflower cheese again as I felt it lacked flavor. The yorkshire pudding was great as was the lemon tart, one of the best lemon desserts I've had. Staff was very friendly, it's also easy to make reservations online.

Food was lovely and reasonable priced. Service was great. We were too full after starters and mains to try the puddings on the Sunday lunch menu. The 4 stars not 5 was due to a very small jug of gravy between two. We had huge Yorkshire puddings that really would have benefited from more gravy. Main issue though us the upstairs room where we were sat was extremely echoing. There is real need for a few soft furnishings, maybe curtains. We had been to the Princess of Shoreditch before and had a good experience. We were doubly tempted this time by the 50% off food (for up to 4 Summer Offer which was a promotion for the arrival of a new chef. The experience was really nice. So late August, on a Friday evening, was not too busy. Our party was 7 to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were terrific attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt. My partner and I had a wonderful meal at The Princess of Shoreditch this evening. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. For starters, I had the Dorset crab crumpet, which was perfectly cooked crab on a light and fluffy crumpet. The pickled peaches and lime added a nice touch of acidity and sweetness. My partner had the beef tartare, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The truffle custard and watercress were the perfect accompaniments. We started our meal by arriving at 6pm, a VERY quiet time in the restaurant, meaning zero atmosphere. With no music, we were whispering as if we were in a library. Nice enough staff, we laughed at if I should have been offended at the waiter asking if I’d asked for “free” mains, when in fact I asked if we could have “three” mains between two people. My dinner mate said the waiter must think I’m a right chav for dropping my “th’s”.
