"My visit included one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a fast food restaurant. I placed my order through my phone as there was quite a large queue at the till and I didn’t really want to speak to anyone at that point. Once I had ordered I realised that the queue was due to a large group of what looked like exchange students who were all ordering separately crowding the small till area. Because of this, I was expecting my order to be delayed as the group had ordered about 20 separate tickets altogether. The second these orders started coming through, the entire Five guys team turned up the gas and started working like a machine! Everyone knew their posts and put their heads down and smashed through them. Huge props to the entire team who clearly know their stuff and knuckled down to get the job done. I would like to highlight two staff members who dealt with me personally during the busy rush. The two gentlemen (Elliott and Aaron) who took care of my order were very kind, apologetic and lovely human beings who I wanted to personally thank, but it was still busy as I was leaving so I didn’t get the chance to do so. My order was not even delayed but both Elliott and Aaron clocked I had been standing by the online pickup desk for a few minutes and came to check on me and reassure me that my order was on the way. During the huge rush of orders, the large group of students crowded the pick up desk but Elliot kept his cool and called out each number for the orders as they came and served everyone quickly. I left your five guys store today after having a lovely meal and although it was so busy at the time I had ordered, I was really made to feel like a valued customer due to the actions of the entire Brighton Five Guys staff team. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back again when I’m in Brighton."

"Lovely restaurant in vicinity of London Bridge. Decor and atmosphere was nice place for a dinner with drinks. The place was not busy and we were quickly given a table. We had a tempura and unagi roll, and a salmon set which was tasty. Sashimi was thick cut and fresh. Staff was friendly and checked on us frequently. The only negative was they made a mistake in our order twice, but was quick to rectify and food came on table timely probably a new staff. The menu was a white sheet with text, and i wonder if it was a covid 19 reduced menu or not as i found the menu slightly plain. Prices were on the steeper side. May visit again if i crave sushi and am in the area, but would not go specifically."

"super stuffed after a massive everything you can eat sushi festival. While all that they can eat is limited to 6 passages (unlimited repetitions) all 8 hot dishes (limited rounds), I must admit that the portions are fully equitable and we manage 3 passages 8 hot dishes between us 3. the sashimi was fresh and sushi was well maintained. "I wouldn't say I'm a sushi addict but from time to time, I do enjoy having a different lunch from the usual stuff I eat. So, I decided to try Yo Sushi today. Having arrived at 11am, much to my morning hunger, I learnt that I needed to wait a further hour before they opened. Nevertheless, it was nice to watch the staff through the window preparing the food. Before today, I was a Yo Sushi virgin but now I'm pleased to say that I no longer am. Even though I spent about £10 on three dishes before I knew it, it was a new experience. My favourite out of the three dishes I chose had to be the Chicken Yakisoba noodles (a bit like chow mein). The sushi was good (nothing really different to what I could buy at the supermarket) and the deep fried octopus balls were a bit of a joke as it mainly consisted of a mash potato consistency and hardly any octopus. The plus side, is that you can top up on some of their drinks but one cup of Japanese green tea was enough for me! Yo Sushi has excellent standards and customer service was helpful and welcoming. The decor, background music and seating layout are impressive, enhancing the trendy Japanese theme. On the other hand, I would not go mad on the food and their prices."

"on a Monday evening, on which way back to our hotel. it was an absolute reason for visiting the current site and we had debated on another known chain that is a little further along the road. we were so impressed by the vegan options that we ordered almost one of the vegan options on the menu. the eating was so good, the staff was great when we entered the door, jackie took the time to make sure we had everything we needed during our time there. if I didn't travel, I would visit as often as I could pay tribute to it with 5 stars."

"Supper at Yippee Noodles was again as usual a fantastic experience. A slight delay because of takeaway orders was dealt with well by the exemplary staff, and the food as usual was fantastic. More on the restaurant It’s a fantastic feeling place with great atmosphere. The prices are fair I think as well. On the food the food here is cooked by a very hard working staff and everytime is prepared quickly and too a brilliant standard. In many ways the food is actually quite simple, and I often have the soups which come with a brilliant chicken broth. The noodles seemed fresh and the prawns in my dish were very tender and perfectly cooked. The pak Choy brings a nice touch of green color to the soups and is again well cooked, not too firm and not soft at all, well done all and thabkyou for creating a fantastic place for family, friends and anyone in between."

"When compared against top end restaurants this place falls slightly short. Some really nice food but not quite the best. Most of the food was creative and delicious. The duck starter was fantastic. The chicken was really nice. The orange and goat cheese side was slightly let down by pips in the orange slices that I would not expect from a high end restaurant. The Jersey potato side was slightly undercooked. The desserts also didn't seem particularly creative. The service was nice but not quite that extra level of a high end restaurant. The restaurant felt a little cramped with space sacraficed in favour of more tables. In general everything was nice just not the extra level to make it truly high end."

"I used to frequent the Queen Street branch of this restaurant a few years ago before the pandemic, visiting multiple times a week. The food was always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. However, after visiting twice in recent months, I am greatly disappointed. The teriyaki chicken now tastes more like boiled chicken with a sauce poured on top, and the portions of meat are small. I also ordered karaage on my second visit, but when asked about my rice and vegetable preferences, it wasn't followed through on. The portions were lackluster, and the sauce resembled a tasteless, clear glue. It felt like a throwback to old Asian takeaways with MSG from the 80s. It's a shame that the quality has declined so much, but despite this, people still seem willing to wait in line. I used to miss this place when I went to our suburban kokoru chain, but even that offers tastier and better value food than this restaurant."

"We had a reservation for 4 people on a Saturday evening. Since we arrived early, we decided to grab a coffee at the bar located on the ground floor, opposite the reception desk. The restaurant itself is on the first floor and we immediately noticed that it was quite empty. It seemed like the hotel guests were venturing out to other dining options in Knightsbridge, which has no shortage of restaurants. The restaurant has an open plan layout with suitable decor and lighting for a cozy and intimate evening. It became apparent that they were short-staffed that night, which resulted in a slight delay in the service. However, the staff were pleasant and attentive. For starters, we ordered Squid in salt and pepper and chicken dumplings. Both dishes were tasty, with the squid cooked perfectly. The sauce accompanying the chicken dumplings was a bit too salty and vinegary, but the dumplings themselves were good. For the main course, we had Chicken with ginger and spring onion, sweet and sour pork, prawns in black bean sauce, and egg fried rice. All the dishes were flavorful, with perfectly cooked prawns and tender chicken. For dessert, we tried the apple tart and Sago pudding with chilled mango pieces in a light mango sauce. They were both delicious and capped off a pleasant evening. We didn't feel rushed at all and ended up staying for quite a while after our meal. Overall, we had a lovely and peaceful evening and will definitely return to this restaurant in the future."

"Overall, this restaurant was mediocre. The service was great, but the food was not good. "This is the most fabulous place. We loved it. We are a group of friends staying for a weekend at Mawgan Porth.. and after a lovely walk along the coast path on Sunday afternoon popped in, hoping we could just get a drink but thought that might not be welcome being a Sunday lunchtime and not wanting to eat. Well.... we needn't have worried. They could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Gave us a massive table all together (with the dog... and gave her biscuits)... and of course... one drink became several.... and we then decided we would have some small plates of food too. The food was fabulous... the service and friendliness exceptional. Highly recommend and thank you Gareth and the team for a great time. Vegetarian options: I had the mushroom soup.
