"**** experience here. If you have the same, make sure you get a refund in store. I was contacted below by 5 guys who asked me to fill a form in to address the issue. They never responded. Review: One star. Felt like having some fries at the weekend, a quick pitstop in Five Guys Brighton. £3.45 but I had good memories of their fries until I ate some at this branch. They were overdone, some burned. I complained and they gave me another portion, but they were similar if not worse. The staff insisted they were not burnt, and one said it had something to do with ‘different type of potato’ they started using. All the fries looked like this coming out the fryer, so before you order, go and look at what’s coming out. Five Guys: (re)train your staff about cooking temperature and/or time? The fries here were bad. You get a star for still serving the free peanuts. I thought to ask for my money back but the dude seemed really stressed and I didn’t feel like having an argument on my weekend about some bad chips. ‘They’re NOT burned mate.’ If you say so. Can you tell from the photos which portion of fries was the one they accepted was burned and then replaced, and which was the replacement portion they insisted was not burned? Update: it's been almost a year, I contacted the company as requested but never received a response, and still avoiding 5 Guys in Brighton! Save yourself the disappointment and spend your money somewhere that serves decent chips."

Service could be better, but nice and fast food. I like that u can choose what u want to include into burger. A bit expensive, BUT WORTH IT.

**** on the toilet seats. Worst five guys I’ve ever had and I’m a five guys lover. People serving were ok and quick but the burger was cold and felt like it had been taken off the job 10 mins ago haha. Restaurant was not very clean at all, strongly do not recommend.

This five guys isn't up to the quality of the others. I've had five guys before and they all tasted delicious. I especially loved the oily meat patties. When I came to this five guys on my birthday however, I was disappointed. The burger patty was very dry. The whole burger was dull. It felt like a waste of money. If you want to try five guys try going to one in another town.

Nearly £7 for regular fries which were clearly re-cooked over and over again as they basically tasted like cupboard, Total waste of money. Thank you for your response below But the chips taste like cupboard and its completely unfair to the customers to get a cup of chips that cost that much for chewey chips. i would not usally pay that much for chips but for that price i thought they would be something special. Evidently note.

I was filming in Brighton recently and after returning from set I had an immense craving for either five guys or a katsu chicken curry On this occasion five guys was victorious. The restaurant was rather quiet, probably because it was a weekday but yet I appeared to be the only sober patron.
