Delicate Japanese dumplings filled with a savory mix of fresh vegetables, lightly pan-fried for a crisp finish.

"The host was excellent upon our arrival, but our table was not ready on time. This wasn't a big issue as we were able to stand and enjoy a drink while we waited. Unfortunately, there was no space at the bar and we had to stand right next to the DJ. The service was okay, but they forgot our order twice. The food was good, but I would say it was just average. Overall, the experience was okay, but not excellent as it should have been."

"I had a wonderful afternoon at this restaurant, which catered exceptionally well to my vegetarian dietary needs. Instead of the typical boring sandwiches, they offered a variety of delicious options. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—a true hidden gem! The decor features amazing artwork from around the world. The service was excellent, and our waiter was very attentive. I will definitely return in the future!"

"I took my mum and mother in law for high tea and we were delighted the moment we stepped in, amazing decor and absolutely stunning dining hall! Never seen anything like that before! We booked via phone and we were asked for card details first I was bit reluctant but they explained due to everything made fresh for diners we want to make sure nothing goes to waste as they do not take walk-ins, they also assured card won't be charged until dining and there is no cancellation fee if cancelled in advance, which made sense! We like afternoon tea/high tea but I can assure I have never had such an amazing tea before! Everything was so fresh, from scones to sandwiches and pastries! They also gave us surprises with hot and cold canapés which were freshly baked! Which made sense for calling it high tea! As there was so much to eat, freshly baked hot bread with butter was scrumptious! We will be back it was the best high tea we ever had!"

"My wife and I have been going to Thai Edge Leeds since we started seeing each other, we decided to go today for our 19th wedding anniversary. Extremely disappointed. No non alcoholic wine or larger, had to wait over half an hour for our starter after we ordered, told this was because they were busy, yet only 21 customers in {ie only a quarter full}, starter mixed tempera vegetables was half onion rings little variety, masamam curry was ok but not as good as previously, pad thai was basically a plate of noodles. Building is now shabby and in need of the tender loving care of a decorator, menu in worse condition than the building."

"The service wasn't great. No one seemed to know what they were doing. We ate Asian inspired and the salt and chilli chicken was so try it was hard to eat. The raspberry daiquiri was very bitter so not great. We were at an event in the radisson so was great that we could have something so close but all 8 of us wernt really impressed at all. We attend the radisson alot so maybe this time was just due to festive period qa we beverage really had problems before x Suzanne"

"Very poor. More like a takeaway with tables. Didn’t have the options advertised on their website. Order via a QR code and pay upfront. No waiting staff- just servers. Food took half an hour to come and it all comes at once (starters mains) and then the drinks came after. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets weren’t clean. I will never go back"

"We called ahead yesterday after enjoying a drink, and ended our meal with the delicious bread and butter pudding with custard. My friends had the cheesecake with a unique twist, the scallops, and the lamb kebab. We also discovered the Moroccan mint tea with rose, which is a must-try. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning for our next visit to London."

"We are just loving this place. Our third visit and we keep coming back for more. In our opinion it is the best place in London right now to get japanese food and believe me we have been to quite a few japanese restaurants. Fabulous food, well cooked and seasoned, extensive menu and the staff could not be more helpful and attentive. We had two orders of edamme as appetisers then moved on to duck chicken gyoza. So difficult to stop eating these delightful dumplings but we forced ourselves and moved onto chicken katsu and salmon teriyaki. Both were absolutely delicious. We finished with creamy chocolate and coffee cocktails. Coupled with heavenly Miles Davis on the airwaves we left walking on air and are currently planning our next visit. With the 50% off we paid £19.60 for the whole meal. Incredible value"

"I am a fan of Nandos. Actually no, I 'll take that back. I respect Nandos. Let me tell you why... Let 's be honest, no chain can really claim supremacy in the cooking of any particular dish. By that I mean it is hard to find dishes which a chain restaurant always cooks better than an independent would. Nandos has got its recipe right in the sense that no one else does Peri Peri chicken as well as they do. Whenever I go to Nandos, its half a chicken for me, medium spiced (extreme spice is only recommended to superheros , side of fries and depending on my mood corn on the cob or coleslaw. I truly recommend the chicken combo. Reason being, this is what the restaurant does best. Forget the slightly boring chicken burgers. Beyond the food comes the rest. Here, Nando 's still has some work to do. Firstly, the drinks it has on offer are scarce and the self service system rather annoying. Secondly, Nandos has a bad habit of leaving its clean tables, plates, toilets, etc.. DIRTY! I kid you not, Nandos hasn 't yet found the solution to really keeping its restaurants outstandingly clean (which is should right? . Finally, Nandos does slightly at times make you feel like your in a chicken factory. I don 't why this is exactly, its a hard feeling to describe. My general belief is that by dropping the pay at the cashier system and bringing in normal waiters, Nado 's could substantially improve the dining experience. However, don 't let these last points get in your way. Especially if you have never been. One must go to Nando 's once in his life. Enjoy! Ps: Nandos originated in South Africa and is one of the country 's most known brands! As I said earlier: I respect Nando 's."

"We had a Japanese friend staying with us who had not had a Japanese meal in England before. We decided to try this Japanese restaurant as a takeaway and ordered several dishes. Our friend rated the meal overall as a 6 out of 10. I...would agree with her. The dishes were cooked to the Western palate and had a little too much sugar added making the fried udon, teriyaki chicken and fried aubergine all too sweet for the Asian palate. However, we will still visit the restaurant in future. We will make a point to request the chef to reduce the amount of sugar and salt."

"It’s not the first time I have problems with this place. They keep sending food that have ingredients that are not specified on the menu. I am allergic to dairy and more than one occasion they sent sushis containing dairy to me. Last time I...ordered this it happened too and after a lot of arguments they sent again my order so when it got to my home we received unripe avocado sushi’s. Veggie and meat option mixed together. One word: disgusting. Don’t bother eating there"

"Me and my partner have a strict diet and decided to go to giraffe for a treat. She ordered the rodio chicken burger and instantly said she had minor pains in her stomach. We finished and paid for the bill and made our way home. At night she was complaining the pain was still there she tried to go to sleep and an hour later she woke up with severe stomach pains and had extreme sickness and diarrhoea. There was blood in her sick so I instantly called an ambulance. We had a written record from the paramedic who confirmed that it was food poisoning. She complained to giraffe and they refused to except all responsibility and did not even offer to refund or compensate for her meal. I was disgusted with this company and will not eat here gain. I was even more annoyed they were saying it was from the oats And banana shed eaten prior to the visit. I'm a qualified nutritionist! I was gobsmacked when I heard this. Lol"

"We went to this restaurant after they underwent a major renovation, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice night out in a quiet yet bustling restaurant. However, when compared to many other Japanese restaurants I have visited in central London, the prices here are quite high. I typically pay less for similar dishes at authentic Japanese restaurants in more centrally located areas. The sushi quality is excellent, with thick and fresh cuts, beautiful presentation, and a good variety on the menu despite the small kitchen. However, I was disappointed in the portion size of my favorite dish, the grilled eel on rice, as the eel was much smaller than usual for the high price of £18. I believe that the decrease in eel prices over the years should have been reflected in the portion size. For this reason, I rated this restaurant 2 out of 5 stars for value. If you are searching for fantastic sushi in Kentish Town, this is the only option available, so I recommend it to local Japanese food enthusiasts."

"Overall the food was good however, the chicken in my main meal was rubbery and not appetising. No flavour at all. Is it is very obviously a precooked bought ingredients that is added to their main dishes. I was unable to eat any of the chicken it really did not taste very nice and was lukewarm the actual dish was lovely "

"Neighborhood sushi connection in stoke newington. we went as a coward on the new year evening to the early evening dinner before the family all distributed to their respective parties. the personal was on the ball and the sushi was very good and inventive. the decor is quite simple, but still comfortable and in general it had an inviting mood. our waitress was covered with dids, but it is stoke newington and she was on the ball with service. highly recommended."

"Tootoomoo, located in the heart of Crouch End, is a fantastic discovery! This restaurant specializing in Pan-Asian cuisine offers a wide variety of dishes, including many vegan options that are sure to impress. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The food is simply amazing. The vegan katsu curry is a standout dish—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The pad thai noodles are equally delicious, with a perfect combination of flavors and textures. Be sure to try the tibetan momos, as they are absolutely delightful. Whether you are vegan or just a fan of Pan-Asian cuisine, Tootoomoo is definitely worth a visit."

"Unfortunately, I will no longer be ordering from Pandan Leaf as the prices on Deliveroo have become exorbitant. To have a small meal delivered for two people now costs £40, and the portions are not worth the price. The serving of rice for £4 was especially stingy, barely enough for one person, let alone two. Although I have been ordering from this restaurant for 8 years, the recent takeaways will be my last due to the lack of satisfaction and value for money. I understand that Deliveroo charges high fees to restaurants, but in this case, providing free prawn crackers for orders over £30 or offering more generous portions of rice would be a good solution."

"I visited this restaurant based on the very good reviews. The older male waiter with the short hair was so rude! We kindly asked if we could be seated on another table as the restaurant was empty but had us seated besides the staff table and another couple during covid19. He responded you are 2, not 6. We didn 't complain that we wanted a bigger table, just another table to be more socially distanced. Funnily enough there were 2 women seated on a table for 6 so I 'm not sure why he let them sit on a table for 6 but wouldn 't allow this same treatment for us. We told him this wasn 't an issue and we would stay seated. He then complained to another staff that we wanted another table. She kindly offered us another table but once again we assured him that we were fine with where we were seated. He continued to speak to us rudely throughout the evening. We spent £100 and spent less than 40 minutes in the restaurant because of how uncomfortable this waiter made us feel. Food was decent but the wagyu beef was overpriced and what tasted like cheap meat would rather spend £50+ on a good steak somewhere. The grilled eel was lovely and can 't be faulted. If you want good Japanese food there are plenty of good spots in the Soho area. This restaurant wasn 't busy on a Saturday evening but we still had the most appalling service."

"This place is AMAZING. Such a hidden gem. In two minds about reviewing because I don't want this place to get too popular and then we can't just rock up and get a table... We went last week for a Saturday lunch to treat ourselves and felt super safe and spaced out from the others. It was a rainy day so it wasn't busy which was ideal for us! We ordered lots of different things including the vegetable tempura, spring rolls, veggie gyoza, vegan tofu lunch bowl special, and duck pancakes. I'm vegan but my husband isn't and my veggie food was incredible literally the best veg tempura I've ever eaten and I have tried that dish from every restaurant imaginable, so it's the highest of compliments. Their smoothie was delicious and my husband enjoyed the floral tea he ordered I can't wait to come back with my friends!! The service was lovely, the value for money even better and my mouth is watering just thinking about the food I had there. Thanks so much Itto <3"
