"The host was excellent upon our arrival, but our table was not ready on time. This wasn't a big issue as we were able to stand and enjoy a drink while we waited. Unfortunately, there was no space at the bar and we had to stand right next to the DJ. The service was okay, but they forgot our order twice. The food was good, but I would say it was just average. "I took my mum and mother in law for high tea and we were delighted the moment we stepped in, amazing decor and absolutely stunning dining hall! Never seen anything like that before! We booked via phone and we were asked for card details first I was bit reluctant but they explained due to everything made fresh for diners we want to make sure nothing goes to waste as they do not take walk-ins, they also assured card won't be charged until dining and there is no cancellation fee if cancelled in advance, which made sense! We like afternoon tea/high tea but I can assure I have never had such an amazing tea before! Everything was so fresh, from scones to sandwiches and pastries! They also gave us surprises with hot and cold canapés which were freshly baked! Which made sense for calling it high tea! As there was so much to eat, freshly baked hot bread with butter was scrumptious! We will be back it was the best high tea we ever had!"

"We went after their great renovation and the ambience is good for one night in a quiet yet lively restaurant. However, given the situation not central London compared to all other many other Japanese restaurants I was, the prices are too high. I pay less for everything in an authentic Japanese restaurant in central locations. Sushi quality is great with thick and fresh cuts and good decoration and good selection of menu for the size of the kitchen. A dish that I do not enjoy was my favorite grilled egg on rice, the size of the aal was 1/3 of the normal size for the price of £18, as the aal prices have decreased little in recent years. For this reason I gave 2 star of 5 for value. If you are looking for great sushi in Kentish Town, there is no other place, so I recommend if you are a local Japanese fan."

"My wife and I have been going to Thai Edge Leeds since we started seeing each other, we decided to go today for our 19th wedding anniversary. Extremely disappointed. No non alcoholic wine or larger, had to wait over half an hour for our starter after we ordered, told this was because they were busy, yet only 21 customers in {ie only a quarter full}, starter mixed tempera vegetables was half onion rings little variety, masamam curry was ok but not as good as previously, pad thai was basically a plate of noodles. Building is now shabby and in need of the tender loving care of a decorator, menu in worse condition than the building."

"Very poor. More like a takeaway with tables. Didn’t have the options advertised on their website. Order via a QR code and pay upfront. No waiting staff- just servers. Food took half an hour to come and it all comes at once (starters mains) and then the drinks came after. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets weren’t clean. I will never go back"

"My Husband ordered a farmhouse breakfast but the sausages were not cooked properly, the waitress came and took the sausages ,replaced and was apologetic which we appreciated but still added service charge to bill which we thought was really poor ,especially as we had bad experience with the food. "I'm a fan of nandos. I respect nandos. I'll tell you why. let's be honest, no chain can really claim highest priority in cooking from any particular dish. so I mean, it's hard to find dishes that a chain restaurant always cooks better than an independent one. nandos has his recipe in the sense that no one else peri peri huhn as well as they do. whenever I go to nandos, his half-whn for me, medium-wrough (extremely seasoned is recommended only to superheroes, side the fries and depending on my mood mais on the cob or coleslaw. I really recommend the chicken comb. reason is that the restaurant does the best. Forget the slightly boring chickenburger. The rest comes beyond eating. Here nando has something to do. first, the drinks she offered are scarce and the self-service system is quite annoying. second, nandos has a bad habit to leave its clean tables, teller, toilets, etc. dirty! I have not yet found the solution to keep its restaurants really clean (what is right? . finally, nandos sometimes makes it easy to feel like her in a chicken factory. I don't know why this is exactly how to describe it a hard feeling. my general belief is that by paying the cash system and taking normal waiter, nado 's could significantly improve the dining room experience. but don't let these last points go in theirs, especially if you've never been. one must go to nando once in his life. ps: nandos comes from South Africa and is one of the most famous brands of the country! as I said: I respect nando’s."

"We called ahead yesterday after enjoying a drink, and ended our meal with the delicious bread and butter pudding with custard. My friends had the cheesecake with a unique twist, the scallops, and the lamb kebab. We also discovered the Moroccan mint tea with rose, which is a must-try. "We had a Japanese friend staying with us who had not had a Japanese meal in England before. We decided to try this Japanese restaurant as a takeaway and ordered several dishes. Our friend rated the meal overall as a 6 out of 10. I...would agree with her. The dishes were cooked to the Western palate and had a little too much sugar added making the fried udon, teriyaki chicken and fried aubergine all too sweet for the Asian palate. However, we will still visit the restaurant in future. We will make a point to request the chef to reduce the amount of sugar and salt."

"It’s not the first time I have problems with this place. They keep sending food that have ingredients that are not specified on the menu. I am allergic to dairy and more than one occasion they sent sushis containing dairy to me. Last time I...ordered this it happened too and after a lot of arguments they sent again my order so when it got to my home we received unripe avocado sushi’s. Veggie and meat option mixed together. One word: disgusting. Don’t bother eating there"

"Unfortunately, I will no longer be ordering from Pandan Leaf as the prices on Deliveroo have become exorbitant. To have a small meal delivered for two people now costs £40, and the portions are not worth the price. The serving of rice for £4 was especially stingy, barely enough for one person, let alone two. Although I have been ordering from this restaurant for 8 years, the recent takeaways will be my last due to the lack of satisfaction and value for money. I understand that Deliveroo charges high fees to restaurants, but in this case, providing free prawn crackers for orders over £30 or offering more generous portions of rice would be a good solution."

"I visited this restaurant based on the very good reviews. The older male waiter with the short hair was so rude! We kindly asked if we could be seated on another table as the restaurant was empty but had us seated besides the staff table and another couple during covid19. He responded you are 2, not 6. We didn 't complain that we wanted a bigger table, just another table to be more socially distanced. Funnily enough there were 2 women seated on a table for 6 so I 'm not sure why he let them sit on a table for 6 but wouldn 't allow this same treatment for us. We told him this wasn 't an issue and we would stay seated. He then complained to another staff that we wanted another table. She kindly offered us another table but once again we assured him that we were fine with where we were seated. He continued to speak to us rudely throughout the evening. We spent £100 and spent less than 40 minutes in the restaurant because of how uncomfortable this waiter made us feel. Food was decent but the wagyu beef was overpriced and what tasted like cheap meat would rather spend £50+ on a good steak somewhere. The grilled eel was lovely and can 't be faulted. If you want good Japanese food there are plenty of good spots in the Soho area. This restaurant wasn 't busy on a Saturday evening but we still had the most appalling service."
