"Unfortunately, my papaya salad was certainly not freshly prepared.... the tomatoes were soaky and also the fresh salad vegetables with gum-like bite also the dressing was not pikant. The chicken with vegetables and cashew nuts was all right from the general taste, but also the meat appeared to me with a taste, as warmed up. My companions had more luck with pasta dishes and spring rolls. But I will no longer come through this bad luck. If I pay about 50 € for two bottles of water, an appetizer and a main dish, I expect a better quality. The service was extremely friendly!"

"Today I got takeaway from this restaurant. The miso soup and the sushi was all Tokyo standard food. This was my first experience of the location, the staff were very friendly and I am going back once lockdown is over to sit in. amazing quality food. The quality of the seafood was superb. the menu is very impressive. Worth a visit definitely. The octopus was particularly nice as was the salmon. going to dine in tomorrow (Oct 2021), have reviewed the menu, and will post photos and comments tomorrow. based on the past, I am expecting a great meal Today, was excellent, the food and the staff were excellent. Both myself my friend really enjoyed the food. Superb Tempura and Raman. definitely going back. (14th Oct 2021) First visit of 2022, had an excellent meal and a great conversation with an authority on Japanese food. his summary was, the venue and the food was excellent and it reminded him of his home in the east"

"My little family were on a layover in London from Paris to Los Angeles. Traveling with a toddler can be hectic and honestly, we were tired and starving at this point. We scoped the terminal for what's appetizing and Yo! caught our eyes the most. We were hesitant to do take away or do a sit down since our daughter was sleeping in her stroller and we had carryons with us. Luckily, our server named Justin was able to sit us down comfortably. See video. What a relief! I loved their decors! It felt like I was about to dig in with street foods and sushi! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Asian food : We're familiar with revolving sushi so we grabbed our plates right away. So happy! See pics. Overall, I'd rate the food 4/5. Shoutout to our server, Justin! He made our first experience with Yo! an excellent one. He's friendly and professional. He even explained the menu very well. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Don't expect fancy. They get very busy obviously. People are in a rush being at a terminal airport and all."

"We were travelling from London for a night in Weston, and were so disappointed with food choices in Weston Super Mare. And then we came across Ebisu. It’s a small Japanese restaurant hidden away on Regent street. It was Saturday evening and we wanted an early dinner, luckily there was a table for two available for us. Restaurant is small, and tables become hard to come by as most are reserved in advance. Decor is tastily minimalistic, simple and clean, we loved hand painted wallpaper. We ordered Chicken Karaage and Ebisu cauliflower to wake up our taste buds, and Salmon donburi and Crispy potato Katsu for our mains. Many Japanese restaurants make compromises, this one didn’t. Food was superb and authentic, portions were generous, each served fresh slaw of daikon and carrot or salad leaves, each bite you took was superbly flavoursome. We were particularly impressed with Ebisu Cauliflower. We can honestly say that this one is one of best Japanese we have eaten for a long time. If you love Japanese food, this one is for you, do book in advance. We will be back."

"If you were rating this place on the quality of food alone, it wouldn 't score this highly, but visiting Yo! Sushi is more than just eating, it 's experience. Everything is so cute. From the little dishes for your soy and wasabi, to the cute little dishes trundling along the conveyor belt, to the little pencils and colouring sheet they bought out for my daughter. And sushi is just the perfect choice for me. I much prefer to have a little bit of lots of different dishes rather than one big plate of one thing. I love to try new things and I 'm determined that one day I 'll be able to tick off everything on the menu at Yo! and say yep! I 've tried the lot! And I must say I had a pretty good stab at ticking a lot of dishes off on Sunday.... I most recently visited Yo! during their 'Sumo Sundays ' promotion all you can eat from the belt for £19.50. And boy did I make my money count! I never find sushi particularly filling, but man I was waddling down the escalators out of Harvey Nicks feeling glad of my stretchy pants!! It was very busy, there was a queue in front of me 6 year old Mini MacDoo number 1 when we arrived, but it didn 't take long for us to get seated at the belt. My daughter wasn 't hungry and isn 't adventurous enough to try any of the dishes (much to her foodie mum 's disappointment! so I was a bit worried about her getting bored, but the waiter who served us brought her a a little packet of pencil crayons and a colouring and activity sheet to keep her occupied, which included a fab game where you have to spot six different dishes going round on the belt I got as excited as she did when we ticked the last couple off! So, daughter happily occupied, I began my assault on the belt. I scoffed hairy prawns, salmon skin iso, tuna nigiri, chicken gyoza, crunchy prawn iso, tempura prawns, chicken tsukune, Yo! Rolls and the totally amazing spicy pepper squid. And more. Yes, I 'm a greedy pig, but hey, gotta get your money 's worth in an 'all you can eat ' promotion. In fact I take it as a personal challenge! I 'm determined to take Mr MacDoo to Yo! at some point too. He 's one of these folk who think they won 't like sushi because they 're put off by the thought of raw fish. Or even fish! But I know he 'll love the yaki soba and the chicken katsu and the tsukune balls and the gyoza. Even if you 're not a fish lover there 's still loads to choose from so don 't let it put you off. So in short? Yummy food and a fantastic fun experience. I can 't wait to go again! Stop press!! Have just found out that Leeds is getting a new Yo! Sushi in the new city centre shopping centre Trinity Leeds later this year! Yussss! Bagsy being the first to Yelp about it!!"

"It’s been a while since I visited this restaurant probably pre pandemic and we always loved it. OMG has it changed. Gone is the tempting dishes passing you on conveyor belt now you have order by phone …you have to ask for a paper menu…So you are seated and told where the code is for your table….order…pay and then the order comes to you and stops the conveyor belt and your light goes green. The Edamame beans which we always order and love were inedible to be fair after we tried two separate dishes of them both of which tasted like cardboard they were knocked off the bill. The sushi was nice the Korean Chicken took 22 minutes to arrive from ordering it tasted great but a very long wait . You are also charged a service charge …this must be for showing you to your table as …you order yourself…you take the food off the belt…you pay yourself so I am not sure what service you get…..I understand that service styles change however lots of food was “unavailable “ from the menu …they have taken the fun out of going….the plus side my bill was probably half the normal bill as I was not tempted to try the dishes passing me in the belt as none did….such a shame to see a once great place to eat become an also ran….we will swerve next time we are in the Arndale"

"Great place to have a Sushi dinner or meetup with friends for an evening out. Friendly staff great food. The place was kept clean tidy. Ordering the food is different but once you are explained the process by the friendly staff, you are able to quickly order your food online by scanning the QR code. The good thing is that the food arrives quickly."

"Went for my anniversary lunch and was extremely happy! The staff are lovely and very accommodating if you do not know what to order or how to order. Situated in Drakes Circus it’s a tad busy with a bit of noise if you go on a busy day, but with sectioned booth you feel very secluded which is lovely! On the other hand, there’s a breakfast bar style seating available if you want to talk to everyone! The food was gorgeous, absolutely delicious I was extremely happy with the Set Menu and the dishes I got! Would definitely recommend, it’s a lovely, different style of food!"

"While the revolving dishes system is certainly unique and fascinating, the sushi's quite often do not taste fresh. For all I know, the same dishes must be revolving around all day. For vegetarians, the options is limited and there is no flexibility of ordering something not on the menu. Many better, more fresh Japanese fast food restaurants that I would suggest instead of Yo Sushi."

"We visited Koto Restaurant on North Parade for Sunday lunch for the first time, and we wish we had tried it sooner. The ramen broth was incredibly delicious, with a gentleman next to us remarking that it tasted just like what he had in Japan. The menu was straightforward and easy to order from, with both the broth and noodles being homemade and preservative-free. The food was healthy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only downside was that they do not take reservations, so there may be a wait. Overall, I would rate the food at Koto Restaurant as some of the best in Oxford."

"This restaurant offers delicious food in a great atmosphere, but it can be pricey if you're really hungry. I wasn't happy about the fact that they charge for water, but the unlimited bowls of soup make up for it."

"Worst value for money ever… It just seemed to be the right place for a special occasion dinner with my partner, after Prom 74 at The Royal Albert Hall. We went for the pre-set menu, 2 courses: starter main. Everything was pricey, but we were prepared to it, after all a brilliant location and a charming atmosphere come at a price… Yes, indeed, but not at that rip-off price! Pea soup, too green to be “traditional” and/or “natural” with a quenelle of white foam that I suppose is what they call “modern twist”. My partner ordered a so called “risotto” and let me say, as Italian, when I saw it, I had half a shock … My God what was that? Over-cooked/melted rice in a primordial soup… I couldn’t decide between laughing or crying. I was really pleased having ordered my 7 cm2 of pan-fried Haddock – served, again, with previously mentioned “twist”. What about the wine? Decent, indecently priced though: 30 pounds for 2 glasses… Definitely disappointing place. The worst value for money ever paid so far. And they even charge 15% for service… Never again."

"we decided to share some pages: tempoura garnel, sweet rolls and Satay chicken. the king prawns were slender and slightly coated in the tempura lightbatter. a soy-and-wasabi-dipping sauce was the perfect companion to the four garnels. the mini spring rolls came in a part of six. They were deep fried, but not fat. simply beautiful and crispy with a delicious carrot and cauliflower. they were served with sweet chilli dip. the satay huh, marinated and on spits, came with a spicy erdnuss sauce that was absolutely delicious."

"Ichiban Fusion is a staple restaurant for us. The menu is simple and straightforward, food is excellent and prices are decent. Staff are always friendly, and we’ve only once ever had an issue with an order (one plate of food being forgotten about). Having dined...there a lot, one issue isn’t a big deal, and it was sorted very quickly. Personal favs are chicken tempura and chicken yakisoba but the menu is varied and caters for a wide range of palettes and choices. Vegetarian dishes are available, and both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are available. And excellent place to eat, all in. The tables are long communal types, but generous with space and access, and baby seats are provided also should you require, so nice and child friendly too. Prices are reasonable, a meal for three with drinks will typically be in the category for the group. Portion sizes are good and food is delivered quickly. It’s a struggle to get Japanese food that’s even close to the real thing having worked in Japan, I like the cuisine. Ichiban Fusion is as close as I’ve came to Japanese food in Scotland. And excellent place to eat."

"This restaurant, Fuji, located in the foodie neighborhood of Stoke Newington, prioritizes taste over aesthetics. It doesn't try to be hip or classy."
