"I started with the "Potato Salad," which I wouldn’t typically associate with Japanese cuisine, but it's apparently a classic dish from Izakayas (Japanese gastropubs). It’s quite similar to our own potato salad but features a Japanese mustard mayo dressing and pickled vegetables. I can’t order sushi without including some "Inari." This dish consists of sushi rice wrapped in sweet tofu pockets. It may sound unusual and even look a bit strange, but it’s absolutely delicious. The new menu has some interesting creations that veer away from traditional sushi presentations, like the ‘Dynamite’—salmon and avocado inside-out rolls with chili oil and my favorite condiment, sriracha. It's not for purists, but it tastes fantastic and has quite the kick."

Was a good trip, atmosphere is lacking compared to when I last went. They have changed the way it works since I was last there, I much prefer the new process. Food is good as always

Love the post covid system. Only order what you want and can keep track of what you are spending. Really like the traffic light table system so it's easy to see when the light goes green it's your food. Food is quick but very tasty. Went at about 12 and it was quite quiet.

Yo Sushi will always be one of my favorite places to eat. Delicious food and excellent service are always the norm here, but especially during today's visit! Sarah C. was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed; she was wonderful all around! Thank you, Sarah!

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly. I work in the Arndale and found the atmosphere a bit dull after being there for a while, but it was refreshing to see some lively employees who were all enthusiastic. I especially want to highlight Gonçalo, who was particularly warm and welcoming. View menu

yo sushi is the easiest and most convenient way to enjoy good quality sushi and Japanese cuisine. eating is delicious and very quick to come to them. they have a new online ordering system on the table that makes the ordering and payment much more efficient and smoother. overall nice restaurant, not 5 easy because of price

The restaurant is very clean and pretty. The staff are very welcoming. I had to order online by scanning the QR code on the table, this is a new method at the restaurant due to COVID-19. I loved my dish (beef teriyaki and rice), although it was smaller than what I expected. The firefly drink was nice too. I would definitely revisit the restaurant.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
