"This is a hidden gem. Foodies are usually right in avoiding hotel restaurants, but don’t miss this one. Quiet, intimate, with outstanding food and service. Manager Pedro Santos is top notch. He loves his job. You will be treated like family and every detail is covered. Service by Ana was impeccable. We shared an order of sea bream ceviche. Outstanding! Then we each had the signature salad. All the vegetables cooked to perfection. Baby beats, onions, sweet potatoes with perfect balance of crunch and tender. So good. Entree was the Azore Tuna. Tender, moist, delicious. Tremendous meal. You will not be disappointed."

"I love Yo Sushi, but unfortunately this particular location doesn't always meet my expectations. The food is usually what you would expect from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but sometimes the options on the conveyor belt are not the best."

"The interior and exterior of GOAT are quite contrasting and really add intrigued to the venue. From the outside GOAT looks like a contemporary take on a classic pub, however inside the restaurant there is a New York style pizzeria feel with touches of metal, raw wood and an open kitchen to bring a modern feel. And upstairs is a whole other ball game. GOAT DRINK has a really old-world feel with thick drapes at the windows, a large dark wood bar, voluptuous cushions, vintage wallpaper and faded paintings on the walls. You could stay lost in GOAT forever and continue to be surprised. For supper we ordered: goats cheese, tomato, mozzarella, zucchini and rocket pizza for me and a Bourbon and...read more"

"Attentive staff, decent choice for vegetarians, lovely food, and finished off with a latte served at the right temperature without an inch of foam on the top. So all good! Vegetarian options: Interesting/different options! Good selection. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"we had a great time in cru, my birthday contract, which was amazing eating, the personal was excellent and attentive, I loved the white wine, best I had, I like white and often have hardships to get a medium, not dry. that was delicious and really perfect for me. it was very cool in the restaurant, so was also comfortable for me as the temperature was unusually high outside. we will definitely come back and tell friends about it."

"The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff are lovely. However, our food arrived cold. We sent back the good and when they brought mussels came back to us, the sauce didn’t taste of anything. It is worth noting that the staff here are really lovely, and were apologetic, but we decided to just leave and come not wait for more food after their second attempt. I can only give 2* because of the wait staff."

"Last night was my friend’s birthday and she was opening her gifts. This happened between 10-11pm. One of the lady staff suddenly told us off, like she was thinking maybe we were doing something wrong. We told her we were just opening gifts and to keep things light, we made a joke about the pub giving free shots because it’s our friend’s birthday, but the woman was unamused, telling us to buy her shots instead and walked away. We didn’t like her tone. We just let it pass, but that remark could’ve potentially ruin an otherwise happy night out with friends. Our group was so polite ordering drinks and saying thank you, why did she have to judge us so quickly and give us this attitude?"

"I love this restaurant! Whenever I'm in town, I always make sure to stop here for lunch. It's a convenient and fast way to grab a bite, as the food comes around on a revolving sushi bar."

"I always hate waste, wasting food, wasting money, in general wasting anything unless it is unavoidable. With similar ethos to St John of head to tail eating, Yashin Ocean House's menu is based entirely around fish and seafood offering head to tail dining including every aspect of the fish from roe to flesh to skin. There is even a wonderful display of fish drying in glass cabinets behind the main kitchen area Tucked away behind South Kensington/Gloucester Road tube station, sit a beautiful restored Victorian stable that house Yashin Ocean House. With Chef Daniele Codini at the helm of the kitchen (formerly The Fat Duck in UK and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Paris), I suspected it...read more"

"1) Food Quality (5/5) The sushi/sashimi is very high quality; the fish is fresh, buttery rich and served at the correct temperature. Hot food is delicious; katsu sauce is perfectly spiced; teriyaki sauce a tad too potent but great if spread out 2) Food Range (4/5) Range acceptable. Hot food could be expanded slightly for interest e.g. to include noodles. Ready to go sushi in the fridge usually quite limited so need to order bespoke, which takes time 3) Service (2/5) Staff are a little aloof, sullen even, which seems to stem from the management down. The energy of the service needs to be made more positive 4) Atmosphere (2/5) Venue is tiny and pokey. There is no clear queue/order system so customers shuffle around each other, often having to wait outside in the cold 5) Value (3/5) Prices have risen while portion sizes have remained static or reduced. Even given today's difficult economic climate, the food feels just too expensive 6) Overall Verdict (4/5) The hot food is tasty and moreish. The sushi is bordering on exceptional. Would like prices to be more restrained, and more efficient service with more of a smile, but...the food quality drags the overall score to 4/5 7) Got to try... Prawn Katsu Curry, Salmon Teriyaki or go all out with a Sushi Platter!"

"I recently visited this restaurant and saw some negative reviews about the service, but we were pleasantly greeted upon arrival. The staff explained the ordering process and were very friendly throughout our meal. We opted for the carvery, which offered plenty of food and was overall quite good. However, the roast potatoes were not up to par and the gravy was watery with a strong meat fat taste. Despite these minor flaws, we were satisfied with our meal. Although we were too full to try dessert, the prices were a bit high when considering the cost of the carvery. Despite this, we would still consider returning in the future."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"This place was absolutely fantastic. Although a little on the pricy side, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. The steaks were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The chips and the starters were very nice too. The absolute standout thing though was the house sauce that went with the steak. This was absolutely delicious and genuinely unique. The staff were very friendly too. I’d recommend the merlot if you’re looking for a good bottle of wine. I’d definitely come back here, and it’s certainly one of the best restaurants in Aylesbury."

"Visiting the Orrery was a once in a lifetime experience (for myself and my partner), and it took a discount voucher on top of another offer so that we could afford it! The staff are excellent. From when we arrived to when we left, they could not have been more attentive and informative and worked hard to make it a special occasion. We had the five course taster menu, and when they realised it was through a voucher the menu was taken from us to be replaced by an A5 piece of paper with the menu on which actually had the name of the discount voucher on it. Hey everyone, look at us, we 've not got the big menu. We have a piece of paper because we are not paying full price. Of the five courses, only the dessert stands out elderflower pannacota with strawberry jelly, a real treat. The slithers of cheese with minute crackers were excellent. The beef should have been the highlight but unfortunately failed to live up to expectation. We enjoyed and appreciated the commentary given with each wine course. Again, we can not fault the staff. The techniques on each course demonstrated the skills of the chef. Unfortunately, the flavours did not match the obvious talent. It may have been that our expectations were too high. Other guests were certainly enjoying their meals."

"I have lived in MK for 9 years and this time I come back to visit with my wife and daughter. Japanese restaurant is a good substitute for fish and chips. We found this small restaurant in Wolverton opposite Lidl. We had the appetizers Korean Kimchi and Chinese seaweed, both are of great standards. Then we had the crispy fried dumplings and sushi rolls . My wife took the eels rice, my daughter had the beef Yaki udon, and I took the eel teriyaki. Finally we had the Japanese ice-cream. The shop is not big so we had a quiet and cosy evening. The next Sunday evening we came back with my friend Andrew's family and this time we had a birthday celebration in the next table. It was warm and lively. Didn't expect such a place in this old area."

"Casa Dino is well worth a visit. The food is delicious and very well presented (not an overwhelming choice of dishes either, which tells you that everything on the menu is super fresh and seasonal). Good selection of cocktails and wine. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Music was slightly too loud for us, but we’re probably in the minority; and it certainly wouldn’t stop us going again. We felt it represented good value for money and all in all, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. But don’t take my word for it go and try it out for yourselves!"
"We booked a private room for 14 guests. The whole event was handled very professionally with the pre-order menu being sent to guests the week before so the kitchen had sufficient time to source the local food we selected. On the night, the meal was wonderful. The dining room was quirky and perfectly laid out. The service was courteous, friendly and attentive. And the food was excellent. Each course offered a choice of the familiar or something unusual but everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Each dish had lots of different flavours and textures and it was great fun discussing and comparing.Everyone enjoyed the evening and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant."
