"I recently visited this restaurant and saw some negative reviews about the service, but we were pleasantly greeted upon arrival. The staff explained the ordering process and were very friendly throughout our meal. We opted for the carvery, which offered plenty of food and was overall quite good. However, the roast potatoes were not up to par and the gravy was watery with a strong meat fat taste. Despite these minor flaws, we were satisfied with our meal. Although we were too full to try dessert, the prices were a bit high when considering the cost of the carvery. Despite this, we would still consider returning in the future."

We found this pub on Google, we are staying in Wareham forest and have had some AWFUL visits to the local in Wareham forest the silent woman. We decided to come here and soo glad we did!! We will look at camping closer to here next year. Great food and great pub View menu

The beef was perfectly cooked and tender, paired with a delicious variety of freshly cooked vegetables. The homemade Yorkshire puddings and gravy were a nice touch. The portion of meat was generous and you could have as many vegetables as you wanted. I will certainly be returning to this restaurant.

Highly recommend Pie Night. Greeted with friendly staff to our reserved table for 6 people. Restaurant was very spacious and warming. The food was absolutely delicious and all plates were left clear. We have since returned for steak night twice which was also out off this world. The Botany Bay is under new managers and are doing a fantastic job Highly recommend.

My family and I are planning to move to the area and we discovered this pub right by our future home. We visited today and found everything to be perfect - the food, service, and prices were all excellent. It is a fantastic place and we would definitely recommend it. Additionally, there is ample parking available and it is pet-friendly, which is a major plus for us. View menu

Paid a visit late July in early evening and what a warm welcome we had, although quiet at time of visit it did start to get really busy by the time we left. Service was amazing and the food couldn't fault any of it. Young lad running food etc and when not busy was busy doing other stuff. Under new management and the impression we got was that they care and want to make it a success. All I can say is keep doing what your doing.

My partner I have had to travel to Eastbourne a few times to see his father. We always call at The Botany Bay for lunch on the way back to Cornwall. Kerry and the staff are so welcoming and the food is amazing. The Ploughmans lunch is so good. The steak is also fantastic. We will miss calling in here when everything is finished with Dads affairs as there will be no need for Eastbourne trips. We will probably try and have days out so we can call in.

"The Museum Inn, located in Farnham, Nr. Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 8DE We booked late on Friday night and only one room was available so it was meant to be! We arrived around 5pm and were greeted by friendly staff, shown to our room The Catch and made a reservation for dinner, luckily they still had spaces for dinner but it is advised to book in advance. Lovely spacious room and bathroom, kettle, teas, coffees and bottled water supplied. I have to say I fell in love with the hand wash and hand cream, I have already purchased some for home, the brand is called Bramley and the scent is Lavender, Geranium and Petitgrain. The bed is probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in that is not our own, soft feather pillows that were just right! Dinner was a three course meal and it was delicious, we took 2 hours to eat but never felt rushed or like we were waiting too long between courses. Starters: Ham hock terrine with sourdough toast and Prawn, potato and crayfish fishcakes. Mains: Burger and Steak Ale pie Desserts: Chocolate Brownie with cherry sorbet. Biscoff donuts with pumpkin pie ice cream Drinks: Poretti lager and Cherry cocktail. Breakfast: Eggs Royale and Smashed avocado, poached egg and bacon, absolutely scrumilicious! Big thanks to Amanda who served us this morning and checked us out. Highly recommend staying and eating here and we will 100% be back again! Safe travels! The Allsebrooks x"
