"First meal out since lockdown and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We hadn’t booked and were lucky to get a table as it seems to be a popular spot. We were sat at a very spacious booth which was great. 2 course lunch time menu was good value and there was plenty of choice. The cauliflower bites were crunchy and tasty. The haggis gateau went down well too. 3 cheese macaroni with garlic bread was brilliant, yum! Goujon and chips was v good too. Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit."

We first visited this restaurant 31 years ago when it was called the Lookout Our second visit proved a very good experience, a great location, with a view. Beautiful interior decor. The food was very good and the service excellent.

Food was beautiful both starters and mains. Lovely atmosphere and service was excellent. First visit and will definitely return. Had a sea view table and just the overall visit was great and beautiful decor. 4 adults visited and all 4 raved about the food.

Visited Scott’s on a busy Thursday evening but Covid Measures in place and felt very safe and comfortable in lovely surroundings,great friendly service no menus all on phone which was great we had some delicious food including Scallops,Goats Cheese,Monkfish and Prawn Curry,Fillet Steak with some wonderful Desserts of Lemon Tart and Salted Caramel Cheesecake excellent choice of Wines and whiskies all in all we had a great evening

Lovely setting and friendly staff. All Covid 19 precautions evident. The menus are loss leaders but the drink prices are dear. We enjoyed our meals but the desserts are lacking on portion size and style. The restaurant is lovely but very noisy. Service good overall but a 40 min wait for main courses. A very large downside is the smoking area right at the top of the stairs as you enter. Got a mouthful of smoke on both entrance and exit. Yuck.
