"Amazing waffles (very fluffy and quite large) that they’re just sweet enough and not sickly like they sometimes can be. Great service, nice coffee and dog friendly too. Lots of ice cream flavours to choose from (they also have vegan versions), served in freshly made waffle cones. Brilliant."

"We were here for a friends birthday party with a group of about 20 people. The first impression of this restaurant was very good, it looked great, nicely decorated and the menu was very appealing. We ordered drinks and that was good, they tasted wonderful and were served in good proportions. Nevertheless the food was kind of disappointing. It took long before the waiters took our orders and before it was served, they forgot some of the food and the portions of for example the curry and the skewers were less than expected, and some food was cold when it arrived at the table. Also the meat of the skewer was poorly presented. Some small pieces of meat on a big empty board. I would suggests that the fries that are served with the skewers is already presented on the plate and it should also be served with a (coconut)coleslaw. However everyone with the burritos and pita's seemed to be happy with there choice, and all the food tasted good! I also liked that they served iced tap water with the food, all restaurants should learn from this."

"the first time we tried this today, we were separated from annie, which was a beautiful lady, brilliant at her job and made us feel very welcome and eat banged. it was nice to eat in a restaurant where all employees seemed well organized, efficient and happy to be there. we had a start porn, thick shake and floorless drink came about £27 a head good the money worth."

"We went here with a Groupon deal for four people which cost £26 plus for a pizza and drink each. We were met by the staff and seated. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We also spoke to the owner who told us about the history I little of the Kitchen and that he has been there for four years and looking to expand up to the first floor. The pizzas are made in a traditional pizza oven and tasted great. The beers are all bottled so no draught. The only criticism I would have is the sauces they use were cheap brands. Which I don't mind but they were dirty and could do with a clean or being replaced. But a great venue and would go again and felt relaxed here. So thank you to all the staff for a great evening. If you found this review and pictures benificial then please like."

"I highly recommend the new Urban Bubble cans at this restaurant. They are fantastic - you get a lot for your money, they look great, and there is no spillage! The customer service is always excellent. I usually order takeout and the food is consistently delicious. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. The Gooey Chocolate Fudge Brownie is a must-try dish. The price per person is affordable, ranging from £1-10."

"After a disappointing experience with a delivery driver, the management at Tub and Cone really impressed us with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. It was 9:30 on Mother's Day and we thought we were going to leave without our order. However, after a simple phone call, the manager agreed to cook a fresh batch of food at no additional cost, and even threw in some extra goodies. The food was amazing, with generous portion sizes and friendly employees. We will definitely be choosing Tub and Cone over local alternatives like Caspers or Heavenly Deserts in the future."

"I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. My party and I were excited to dine here for dinner. We arrived on time with a reservation, but the waitress seemed surprised. We ordered dessert and water but waited 30 minutes without any update. It took 35 minutes just to get our water. When we asked about our dessert, the waitress said it would be another 10 minutes. After waiting for so long despite having a reservation, we decided to cancel our order. The waitress did not offer to speed things up or apologize. We found dessert elsewhere that was faster and cheaper. Overall, this experience was a disappointing waste of time."

"AVOID SAGE AT ALL COSTS. I rarely write reviews but had to make an exception for this place, for the sake of sparing others the experience we had. Where do I begin? Arrived at the “restaurant” (if you can call it that and staff were nowhere to be seen. Restaurant has a somewhat ‘eery’ feel to it with such strange decor. Took around 20 minutes until manager finally brought out the menu. After ordering was told several items missing. Food took a long time to arrive and when it did was given to the WRONG TABLE (HELLO COVID?! . Manager took plates downstairs to kitchen for a few minutes before bringing them back out to our table? (Now might be a good time to mention that the customer toilets are literally in the kitchen weird? Food was poor. Advertised as Beyond Meat burger but they brought out the much cheaper Moving Mountains burger was still charged the same extortionate £13.95 for this. … the other half of our order never arrived. At this point we were feeling pretty upset with the service so requested the bill. Manager brought out a handwritten note with various prices on it (these did not match up with the advertised prices on both the menu and the Deliveroo app . Manager informed us at the end of our meal that the card machine is out of service and told me to drive several minutes to the nearest ATM. Manager then changed his mind and told us to pay via the Deliveroo app, with the knowledge that this adds an additional service charge. Manager proceeded to stand behind/lean over my partner and take her phone out of her hands. He was adamant that we didn’t know what we were doing and behaved in a very intimidating manner. I asked the manager if I could speak to him in private away from the customers. I explained that we were unhappy with the service we had received by referring to the several points mentioned above. Myself a vegan of 6 years, I expressed to him that I care a lot about the success of small businesses such as his and suggested that menu pricing could be more clear, the advertised products actually being served etc. He became very defensive and hostile, blaming my partner for several things that had happened and alternating between reasonings behind the price discrepancies. “If you didn’t like what I was doing and I made you feel unsafe, why don’t you speak up? You are a grown adult.” … those were his words to my partner. BE WARNED: many of the Google reviews and hygiene rating is from previous owners Eat Street, not Sage."

"So I'm on a mission to lose some weight and get healthy, my daughter was adamant she wanted to come here for dessert. We heard it was under new management, so we were a little apprehensive. However, I enjoyed it before, but I used always get a waffle. We walked in, and the new owner was there to greet us. He told me straight away there weren't any waffles available, and to have some would be a half-hour wait. The waffles were the reason we went. I almost walked out of there, but my daughter wanted the ice cream instead. So we were a group of My children made their order and enjoyed it; the youngest one went for that blue ice cream. She enjoyed it but wasn't a fan of bits that were in it. The other three enjoyed their desserts. I thought I'd get a sundae; call it a proper cheat day (I have a lot of them). I got the chocolate sundae, and for once in my life, it was perfect. Not too sweet I felt sick, but just right so I could enjoy it and finish it off. Great value for money, and the customer service was flawless. I told my daughters to go make their orders, but the older were being shy, so when I was sitting on the table asking one of them what they wanted, I repeated it loud enough the owner got the gist of what I was doing, and was in the ball. Really nice desserts, couldn't recommend it enough. Will be back maybe even tomorrow for a waffle. Just gotta watch those calories. Lol."

"beautiful Italian restaurant in blackheath. eating in le querce is so fresh, they bake their own organic bread, make fresh ravioli and gnocchi (absolutely delicious) and some crazy ice creams. we are an Italian family and have really not expected that such a good Italian restaurant so close to where we live, we went to the in blackheath and have booked to go back for a party of 20 in 3 weeks, they have a room up for private parties. it's my mother in law 80'th birthday and we wanted to have the party at home or afternoon tea in the ritz, but eating, service and price-performance ratio is so good in le querce that we decided to go there instead. if they are looking for authentic, fresh, delicious Italian food, then this is the place for them."

"When the fire alarm went off in the shopping center and everyone was evacuated, we were initially concerned since the restaurant is located on the fourth floor of West Quay. However, the staff ensured that our group, which included a person in a wheelchair, was safely assisted and quickly brought to safety by a team member. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We had dined there twice before and loved our meals, but I wanted to write this review to highlight the amazing team and exceptional customer service we experienced."

"I appreciate there may have been issues or reasons (which they wouldn't tell me), and it was the common wealth games. But when I turned up for my booking they had decided to close early and i couldnt dine there. I explained that it was pretty bad service not to at least notify me prior to my visit. The manager was then also very blunt saying he never had my booking through open table also... which I find very odd. Overall, im not very happy with Eds diner and will not be going back to that particular branch. Instead I found an amazing japenese cuisine reataurant in broad street and ate there. They were more than excellent in food quality and service. Puts Ed's to shame frankly."

"I’ve found the perfect little coffee shop at Coffee HQ! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on the day it opened. I ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate which were both just amazing, not just in taste but, in how they were presented too. I’ve been in there everyday since it opened, to grab my morning coffee on the way to work and I shall continue to do so. All the staff were so friendly and cater to my every need and it’s nice to see that the manager (David) is working alongside his employees, offering help and support. If you haven’t already been to Coffee HQ, I would highly recommend you do so. I can’t praise this place enough!"
