A savory mix of foraged wild mushrooms, lightly sautéed with herbs and garlic for a flavorful delight.

"I had reserved a table for Wednesday evening as a friend from London was visiting. Irvin's phoned in the afternoon to say they'd had a major electrical fault and had to close the kitchen. They were terribly apologetic, offered to rebook, and recommended another restaurant close by in case it had to be Wednesday. Well, it had to be Wednesday on that occasion, but the courtesy and care of that phone call meant that when another friend came by on Friday, we had no hesitation in going there without a booking for lunch. The food is excellent, as is the atmosphere. But it's the service that makes all the difference."

"iron bloom is located in the heart of shoreditch, named after the former iron factory in the great eastern street, but some of the original features that give the restaurant an industrial and quirky look. Make sure you check the lift shaft that houses the DJ stand! from the drawers of the look glass cocktail club in shoreditch that I love, I knew that iron bloom would be great. you can say that many thoughts have gone into the British inspired menu, mostly from small sharing boards, but with a few bigger dresses too. iron bloom takes classic British cuisine, deconstructs the court and reconstructs it with quirky dressed. each of the small teller beats a paired cocktail – a beautiful note. we had the limanescapade: pisco shaken with homemade mango, ananas rosmarin, lime and protein paired with the lobster doughnut, gruyere cheese, chorizo, chipotle ketchup, schalotten. we also had the bitter aperitif: campari base, mix of lemon orange juice with homemade mango ananassirup shaken with a hauch of aromatic bitter; perfect with every nibble. small teller wise we had the oxtail croquettes: celeriac remoulade, crispy chorizo, raisin purée and the guinea fowl pudding: chestnut mushrooms, brie, yorkshire pudding, which were two of my favourite dishes! I love most things in a yorkshire pudding to be fair. we also had the grilled cauliflower cabbage: cheese frit, flower charcoal, golden rosins, roquette parmesan and truffle and parmesan frits – all just beautifully presented and really delicious. we had just space for the dark chocolate delice with baileys sawne, milk crushed, hazelnuts paired with flambé cocktail, which was a show in itself – definitiw add this up! we loved the concept and the design and look forward to the soon started brunch menu!"

"The service at this restaurant was very welcoming and efficient, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the lighting was too low, making it difficult to read the menu. Our 13-year-old granddaughter loved her Whole Bream dish, but the poor lighting made it hard to see the fish bones, causing some concern for her safety. The food was tasty and served in generous portions. The container for fries was charming, but they would stay warm longer in a closed container. The desserts were outstanding, with the crème brûlée being the best I've had in a long time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this restaurant."

"Had food on the 8th of December, Had the ribs to start. Was tasty with a good portion size, it came with side salad and purple coleslaw. Not knowing the portion sizes I ordered a side order of onion rings, which were also very nice. For main, I had the 20 oz T bone steak. The steak was huge. either other places had been skimping on the steak or this place is generous, either way it was cooked to perfection. I had it with chips. The chips come on a separate bowl and the steak was accompanied with a side salad on the plate. At this point I was rather full but I pushed myself to have the desert, which i chose melted Nutella with brownie. We opted for an extra side of ice cream with it. Again the pudding was delicious. The price in my opinion was well worth it. Service was great. No long delay for food and the food was delicious. Overall a great first experience and will be back. "We celebrated our marriage (which had occurred earlier that day at the Chelsea Town Hall here and we had an absolutely perfect afternoon. Raffaele looked after us and ensured that every detail of our day was attended to (my wife tells me he never let her glass drop below 3/4ths full! . It was the perfect vibe as we had asked them to section off an area for us down stairs, which was perfect as the weather held and it was a beautiful afternoon with the windows open and the breeze coming through. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options (both vegetarian and otherwise . We'll definitely be back!"

"I dined at D.O.C. for the first time on Sunday evening with a friend. The restaurant was bustling, but the service was efficient, and our waiter was attentive and very professional. We ordered a bottle of white wine that was reasonably priced, which was brought to our table along with a bottle of chilled water and our food orders. We each had two courses, and all of the dishes were beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and incredibly tasty. It was a delightful evening overall, and we will definitely be returning."

"Tuesday afternoons can be misleading when trying to gauge the evening atmosphere, and it was quite quiet during our visit. The staff were excellent—attentive without being overly energetic. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the food, but we were pleasantly surprised. We tried various dishes from the menu, and everything was great. It was clear that the food was freshly prepared, not microwaved. My burger seemed to be made from a homemade patty, and the fish and chips were a generous portion. The prices are fantastic too—£15 for two courses and £20 for three."

"Terrible expensive experience to be honest! We went as a small family for Father’s Day, please believe we won’t be attending again!! There were 4 members of staff supposedly “working” the bar.. yet the tables weren’t even clean when we sat down crumbs stuck on food. For the 1.5 hours we were sat WAITING, I observed 3 of them sat down eating at the bar with their backs to customers, congregating, chatting amongst themselves. I had to get up to order drinks, I had to get up to get a menu, I’ve even had to wildly attract another’s attention just to pay the bill at the end for the entire time we were there nobody even checked on our table, checked the food brought out or asked if we would like anything else. Only to discover after leaving that we were charged 10% £5.47 gratuity AS STANDARD, it felt like a liberty an absolute kick in the teeth!! The staff establishment were entirely unworthy of it, and the food given to us was below the standard for prices charged. For 2 adults 1 toddler the bill was £60!!!!! This bar should be embarrassed to be presenting this experience as a standard to customers at these prices. Needless to say we won’t be returning, underwhelmed, over charged ripped off!! Lazy, dirty staff who couldn’t care less so long as they get their tip."

"Highly recommend The Ship. My Husband and I haven't been to the restaurant in awhile and we were happy we tried it again. We dined at the restaurant after attending a wake on Tuesday night and were shocked at the inexpensive prices for dinner for 2 it included a bottle of wine, salad, entrée and dessert all for $40.00. More importantly, the food was very good and we plan to dine there in the future."

"I had booked a table online for Valentine's Day and showed the confirmation email to the waitress when we arrived, only to be told that there was no table reserved for us. Despite showing her the confirmation email, the waitress seemed unsure of what to do next. She suggested speaking to the manager, who informed us that they had stopped taking online bookings two weeks prior and were unable to accommodate us. There was no offer of compensation or even a formal apology from the manager, which left us feeling disappointed. This was a highly disappointing experience from a restaurant that is otherwise well-regarded. Thank you for ruining our evening."

"I had a shockingly bad experience at Mud today and have serious concerns about the customer service. I have visited several times previously with no issues. The food was good as usual however we were asked what our order was three times, a drink for another customer was spilled on our table and we had to ask for items such as cutlery. The coffee was also poor quality. What turns this into a terrible experience was the response of servers to another customer complaining at the counter about the quality of the coffee. The server escalated the argument and threatened violence towards the customer right in front of us and other tables, even though the customer was perfectly within his rights to complain. This created an unwelcome and frankly unsafe environment, so we felt we had no choice to finish our food, pay and leave as soon as possible. Upon our table requesting feedback for the manager, we were told that no manager was available on site, and the other server doubled down on his comments about the customer, stating he was being unreasonable. This attitude contributed to an unsafe experience, as myself and other customers did not feel valued, welcome or even safe. The servers continue to swear and comment angrily about the incident after the customer had left. I appreciate this was a fairly busy period of service but violent threats towards customers, whatever the reason, is never acceptable and needless to say I will never visit Mud again. I would expect to receive reassurance that training is in place to deal with this kind of incident in the future and will be following up by email."

"There are a few vegetarian and vegan options available at this restaurant, which is conveniently located next to the Meadows. Menu items with a blue dot can be ordered as a slice (but this may vary), while the rest are only available as a full pizza. There is always at least one vegan and one vegetarian slice option, which offers a unique twist compared to typical vegan pizza places. The vegan cheese is decent. The portion sizes are generous. "Food was incredible! Really well presented and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful although did get a drink mixed up, but fixed it when notified. A bit noisy at points server could not hear us all the time. Tables nicely spaced out and ambience was fabulous nice trendy place to spend an evening"

"We requested to dine in the restaurant in order to enjoy the views, but due to a shortage of staff we were relocated to the stable bar, which was dark and lacked any views. Despite having my contact information, the restaurant failed to reach out to inquire if we still wished to dine with them, leaving us with no alternative but to eat in the bar. This resulted in having to wait in line at the bar to place our order, without receiving any apology for the inconvenience. The food was decent but nothing outstanding."

"I took my partner to this restaurant for their birthday, but unfortunately the steak we wanted was not available. We then ordered another steak, only to be told they were out of that as well. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, the service was not very good. We had to leave and find another place nearby to celebrate my partner's special day. Overall, it was a disappointing end to what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner."

"This was hands down one of the best all around dining experiences my family has ever had. We were in town from Boston and came here after it was recommended by a friend. Antonio and his team are unbelievable and the food is outstanding, I would make a point to come back here every time I’m in town."

"We had a meal for 8 down for my daughter's birthday. The restaurant rearranged to set up 2 extra places at short notice despite being busy. They also reassured us about a noisy party that was making it hard for us to talk to each other. They left soon after. We ordered a lot of small plates to share and had a very convivial time, enjoying all the food. Very tasty desserts too. Nice ambiance and perfect for the occasion."

"I was initially hesitant about dining at this restaurant because the online menu didn't offer many vegetarian options, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The menu was more diverse than I expected, and they even offered delicious fresh fruit juices. The breakfast I ordered was fantastic, it was honestly the best breakfast I've had in Tooting. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients which really stood out in the taste. I'm not usually a fan of Hollandaise sauce, but theirs was light and fluffy, made with fresh cream. The prices are reasonable as well. My only complaint is that the café is quite small, so there is usually a wait. Unfortunately, they also forgot my order, so my companions had finished their meals by the time mine arrived and they didn't offer any compensation for the inconvenience."
