"the vegan options were marked clearly in the evening menu. we shared the edamame to begin what was beautiful. for the main I had the aloo gobi dish, with a side of brasica veg. it was quite bland so that I asked for sauce, the only vegan sauce that they had was sriracha. the smaller plate and side were not very fillable. there were no vegan options on the larger teller menu. I had a Chai-Latte, I prefer being sweeter. there were no vegan dessert options that were disappointing, so I decided to drink a golden milk (without honey and substituting zimtsirup). it wasn't bad. overall good location, good service, more vegan options would be nice to introduce vegan desserts. I notice that there is another brunch menu that seems to be many more vegan options, so they need to try it then, plus there is another menu on Sundays. it is a great bar to have a drink, good moods with some decks and a dj we came in the following night, a Friday! (there was no dj in the previous night)"

After a very enjoyable 1st visit we returned today for our 2nd visit, we could not have been more disappointed. Orange juice full of ice without asking Cremated fried eggs that we had to send back and overcooked beans bacon. £37 for 2 breakfast, 2 coffees and 1 juice. We told the cashier it was very disappointing. He said sorry, will tell the chef. There will not be a 3rd visit. Sorry.

This is a dreamy neighbourhood side street cafe bar. The coffee was excellent, best flat white i've had in the area. We dug into the breakfast tacos with additional halloumi. These were just what the doctored ordered, very tasty and filling... set us up for the entire day. The place was absolutely packed, seems to be a very popular place. The staff were super on it though and the food was delivered fast. Top atmosphere and tunes. We'll be back for sure. View menu

Haven 't been here for a while.. it was always delicious and cosy. We found it very cold today with the door open. Our coffee was bitter... so we sent all 3 back and drank water. The full English wasn 't bad but sub standard compared to recent breakfast we 've had elsewhere. The green eggs were not edible as the greens were bitter, hard and unable to chew, the avocado was rock hard. The breakfast tacos were awful.. warm salad and tasteless eggs on uncharred tortillas. Really disappointing. I hope things improve for the better of the business. they didn 't charge for the 3 coffees and the 2 breakfasts we sent back and the barrisa mouthed a 'sorry about that ' when we were leaving but the mor...

This place has really disappointed and there are a growing number of much better options in Prestwich these days. We had planned a birthday brunch for 11 family members, so went to the website to make our reservation. Our emailed reservation was never confirmed so numerous phone calls (and voice messages) were made and all went unanswered and unreturned so we decided to take our chance and show up anyway. The attitude of the staff was very rude and flippant about the missed reservation. Consequently we were turned away at the requested time being told “we don’t take reservations”. If this is the case then up date your website. We are regular customers and local residents who will not be retu...

"Well, it 's been a while since I 've reviewed a place but this little gem has certainly reawakened my vigour for it. Visited this evening as a kind of belated birthday celebration with my husband and son and very glad we did indeed. We happened upon this place a few weeks back (passing by and grabbing a cocktail after the days plans fell through and instantly took to the place and it 's wonderful staff and from the off had intentions to visit again an so finally did tonight), within seconds of seating ourself at the bar we were remembered by the owners, which to me shows great calibre on the customer service front. As someone with an exceptionally sweet tooth when it comes to alcohol it was our lucky day to find they had cocktails on 2for£10 and hell can the owner Jo mix like a minx (even doing us an off menu blend to account for tastes). The husband not being a big drinker happily sat at the bar chatting with staff and customers nursing his Peroni whilst me and my son dived headlong into the extensive classical and modern mixed cocktail list. Having been lured into great expectations (previously sampling delicious tasters) from Jo 's lovely husband Dave on our first brief visit we were definitely eagerly placed to dive into dinner tonight. Our lovely waitress Sian, stood patiently while we chopped and changed idea 's and orders, laughed with us, checked regularly everything was to our tastes as did the other young waitress that dropped drinks over to us. Both girls portraying the perfect mix of friendly and professional, a refreshing change to be served by people that clearly enjoy their working environment. And on to the food... we started with olives (and boy was it a substantial portion in comparison with some establishments weak efforts), hubby was first in there, impressed with the quality of marinade (too many places these days forget the little efforts like this thinking folk can 't differentiate something tipped out of a supermarket packet). After much debate (I had my eye on far too many dishes) choices were made, Hubby had the Filo Kefta, which had a light pastry, adequate spice and smoothly complimentary dip, for main he went with the day 's Special of Lamb with fondant potato, heritage carrots and a divinely velvety Jus which he thoroughly enjoyed (and he 's hard to please, being well versed himself and making a point of getting the lovely Chef Darren a glass of wine in appreciation). The lad had a Sirloin steak burger cooked medium rare and is now demanding we visit again soon. lol I went with the Gravlax to start, instantly aware of the clean flavour from its curing cutting through (I even brought a titbit home for my kitty to enjoy), as for main, I 'd initially had my mind on fish but upon discovering the owner Jo was also a blue steak lover I had to try one there and wow they really take care in choosing their suppliers because that was an A grade cut of meat, even my son (who prefers medium-rare) upon trying a slice said it was an exceptional piece of meat I had it with asparagus, no sauce and swapped out the chips for a feta/pepper bowl which worked perfectly as did the glass of Shiraz that Jo picked out to compliment it for me. Genuinely I can not pick fault (read through my other reviews I write honestly, pick fault where warranted and compliment where due). Had this lovely little find been in our usual local it would surely become a regular haunt ours for sure. I would 100% recommend this place and extend our gratitude to all the staff for making our entire visit memorable and perfect."

"We were in Bury for a few days visiting family and the weather was beautiful , we live on the Wirral and frequently visit Brasco lounge in Liverpool of the same chain , which we love. We actually visited Racconto lounge 3 times on our visit , first time we had a brunch of bacon and egg muffin , which we really enjoyed (although the bacon was very salty) The next day we came back and had a lounge breakfast , and the following day we brought my husbands mum , and drank cups of tea while resting from shopping . We enjoyed all the meals , and its lovely inside , although we ate on the terrace in the sunshine and we found all the staff very pleasant and friendly . But..... we had 2 things let it down for us . Firstly on each occasion , the service was extremely slow, when we had breakfast , it wasn't very busy , but we waited ages , although our tea was brought out well before the food , meaning we then had no drinks to go with the food . The second problem was , after waiting ages , we had to send the breakfast back as it was really cold , and it seemed like it had been sat waiting , almost as long as we had , the bacon on both the breakfast muffin and the breakfast was really , really salty also. None of this would put us off , as we enjoyed the dining experience overall , but if you are in a rush , i really wouldn't recommend eating here , as the wait was alot longer than expected every time ."
