This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. He prepared us a vegan starter and main (we were too full for dessert) and every bite was a gift. Even the salad was a unique and exciting experience. The kebabs were UNREAL. If you are in Menton, make stopping here a priority.

There is a seperate vegan menu (for 2-3 people) and vegan options. The presentation is truly unique. The owner is beautiful and tries to explain the ingredients for the guests. We were directed to this little restaurant by some local folks we met in a bar. We were so delighted with our meal that we returned two nights later. Food was wonderful and totally authentic French cooking. It was presented in an unusual way and everything was fantastic. We had both beef and fish. I loved everything about the restaurant and hope to return.

Although the restaurant do not offer all the fancy view of the beach etc… Christian ist the Man! You don’t have an overloaded menu, but there is meat, fisch vegetarian. All based on the same recipe. Beside the fact that the food was great, later in the evening, Christian let us try some homemade liqueur (Basil, Lemon, Thyme, etc… which are pretty awesome but so was Christian in entertaining us… I loved it…

It was amazing experience. We ordered set of dishes with burning meat,fish and veggies. Everything was fresh, delicious. Owner who happens to be a cook, took a very good care of us, made sure that dishes were lovely served and we felt like home. Veggies were juicy and sweet, fish and beef amazing, and dessert lemon pudding I guess was heaven in my mouth! It is real, local Menton cusine that everyone should try!

Would give this 5 stars if possible! It is a lovely little restaurant in Menton. All the food was delicious and on the vegan choice was on par with the non vegan food according to people in our party so we didn't feel like we were missing out on anything. The guy who runs it was amazing, he was a great laugh even though we didn't speak much of the same language and he gave us 4 shots of different homemade liqueurs ta the end of the meal, which were all fantastic. It's a small cosy place so probably worth booking in the peak season.

We hiked all across town and all the way up the hill to this place carrying our one year old in her stroller. Showed up at 1pm sweaty and exhausted and hungry. A family of 5 slipped in the door right in front of us, and the owner seated them and then shook his finger at us and said “No, not possible.” There was no one else in the place. If you can only serve one family of 5 at a time, why even have a restaurant?? Why even have more than one table?? We were incredibly offended that he didn’t even apologize as we stood there with our toddler, totally shocked. Terrible customer service. Avoid the long uphill trek to this place or risk being turned away with no apology!
